Blossoms Smoke 57

Kinda love this and I don't often like vanillas. Reminds me a bit of Iris Malikhan by Maison Crivelli. It's a doughy, aromatic, hay-infused, balsamic vanilla. Reads a bit like a soft leather, which makes sense alongside the vetiver and smoke notes. It also has a clear vegetal, rooty-creamy character which makes me think some orris type matieral is present, and actually I'm realizing this is maybe closer to some Celine fragranes. I can't recall which one beacuse so many of them share this type of orris-vanilla base, but perhaps Black Tie is closest to hitting some of the same ashy, smokey registers. The bitter, grassy tones convey a slightly masculine edge to it, but it's still very soft and inviting. Nothing really challenging here, and the tonka is doing a lot to make it powdered and approachable. It develops a plastic-soapy-waxy type character that some may not like though. The florals aren't obvious and honestly I wouldn't have identified them without the notes list, but there is some kind of sunny orange blossom quality to it if I had to guess. Trying to analyse it a bit more and they might be lending a bright and clean kind of soapy effect on skin. Definitely worth a sample and I may nab a bottle myself.

Love at first sniff for me! It opens with a bold, slightly animalic smoky vetiver, accompanied by a powdery touch—almost like orris. The smoky tone lingers impressively, blending beautifully with orris. It doesn’t feel to white flower, but I can see why it was named this way. It carries that creamy, enveloping sensation often found in white floral fragrances.

Really one of the best from Parle Moi, I get this smooth vanilla burnt sesame seed gourmand-esque feel. Truly one of their more unique picks, worth a full bottle for it’s versatility (between unique and appealing, while fitting for summer and winter imo)

Smells like a tray of Christmas treats served on one of those woody wreathes. I would go bananas if I smelled this on my gf

This smells like a feminine version of By The FirePlace. Smoky and sweet. It’s pretty but it doesn’t blow me away. 7/10

This is a doughy, aromatic smoke and vanilla combined. It smells nice but it doesn't really do anything for me. It smells literally like smoke and vanilla but more like incense smoke rather than campfire. Surprisingly inoffensive I think I would call it. I think the reason is that it's very similar to z&v this is him! Which in my opinion has much more complexity just in general does it better for me

Incense, smoky, flowery, premium. If you like a strong woody incense perfume, then it is for you. Would fit well for a reed diffusor.

Vetiver and tonka bean are fighting for dominance, and there’s definitely a chemical note—but it blends fairly well with the overall scent. It’s bitter and medicinal—not exactly unpleasant, but definitely strange, very synthetic, almost plasticky. The dry-down doesn’t hold up; it just leaves behind a chemical smokiness

I think this is a very nice, slightly sexy even, scent but it pulled a little too masculine for my personal taste. The opening has a lot of that smoke and vetiver which reads more masculine to me and the dry down is more unisex/fem with the white florals coming through. I’m also getting a bit of a marine/aquatic vibe from this as well in the dry down. Has an additive quality about it ngl. Overall a nice & unique fragrance that I think would smell really good on a man. I’m still going to keep using my sample and may purchase a fb in the future as I really enjoyed the dry down.

Roasted, Smokey, umami bbq opening. Similar smoke effect to Akro Smoke, but altogether different. Ambrox is prevalent, but I concur with below reviews that the tonka sweetness peeks through as it dries down. Also, I do agree that there is something a bit addictive - but something is reading nearly burnt soy sauce mixed with subtle amber sweetness . Perhaps a riff on Wake Up World and Orris Tattoo components (?) For a kind-of-but-not-really similar and, to me, more “pleasant” experience, I would suggest at least a sample of Tauer’s Incense Extreme .

At first when I sprayed it, indefinitely got smoke but i couldn’t place what type of smoke - it’s not like wood on fire, or cigarettes, or incense smoke - nothing thats super familiar. I think it could be the unique mix of smoke and vetiver that’s producing this sort of burnt smoky effect. The immediate image that i conjured in my head was the color gray. This is definitely a gray perfume, bordering on more masculine and not warm at all. It’s a cold ashes and smoke, but in a weirdly good way. Definitely a cold weather perfume

At the end of the first day wearing this, I can say it might be full bottle worthy for me! It wasn't a super powerful fragrance but I kept smelling my clothes so that I could get a whiff. I have Akro Ink which was my intro to leathery/ smoky fragrances. I would say that I like this one a touch better as it is a bit more complex for me. The sweetness from the tonka bean comes through during the dry down for me which is a nice surprise element. It reads a little like cardamom to me. This is so nice :)

This smells awful when I first spray it- like strong cologne on a chainsmoker with that weirdly sweet vodka breath. I suppose the notes say just that, but I was still disturbed by how terribly it smells. I've smelt other smoky scents that are more incensey or campfirey but this is not that same comforting smoke. Now that it's been on for a couple minutes, I'm getting some permanent marker. Not getting any vanilla or doughy goodness, unfortunately.

The smoke isn't as scary as I thought, and it's mainly in the opening. This is a creamy-earthy fragrance. Some natural sweetness from the vanilla and tonka, mixed with vetiver. Not overly complex but it's pleasant as long as someone likes vetiver bc it's a prominent note here. My only problem is the base bc I can detect amberwood, which isn't my thing.

Very pleasantly surprised. A real balance between a Gourmand and a Clean kind of perfume. I first it has the soft sweetness of a warm brioche, and then it reveals a lingering smokiness that is top-up with freshness coming from the flowers. I find it perfect to wear on any occasion, it's mysterious, clever and sexy without even trying.

Smoke...not burning firewoods kind of smoke note. It's sophisticated, sexy and calm. The longevity is little weak on my arms but on my back neck i could enjoy the subtle scents till afternoon. As other fragrances from this house, really soft and comfortable.

I definitely get leathery vanilla upon first sniff. I actually don't know if I've ever smelled anything like this! It's very unique and very beautiful. A mix of warm and cool although I could see myself wearing this more in colder months.

This opening was really fantastic, but then it turned very stereotypical "soapy" scent (albeit a very nice soap). Pleasant and inoffensive.

Sounds so interesting, please don’t rate it if you haven’t already tried it !
