"Subtly sweet, citrusy neroli, over marshmallow" For those who prefer natural/organic smelling fragrances and also enjoy orange blossom/petitgrain/neroli with vanilla, this is a must. Yes, there is the basic resemblance to Kilian Love don't be shy, in it's overall theme, but this isn't remotely the same. Guimauve de Noel is an extremely light and airy caress of a tangy green neroli, with dashes of subtle spice over a not-particularly sweet but fluffy marshmallow. For those used to very sweet fragrances, I would not describe this as especially sweet. It leans in the sweet direction but remains zesty and green/citrusy on me. I find this fragrance clean, refreshing and incredibly dainty. It is also quite light with almost no sillage at all. I can smell it on myself for about 2-3 hours maximum. I did purchase a FB because the scent is just so ethereal and gorgeous, I had to have it. This is what I would imagine fairies and angels to smell like. LOVE it. 10/10 for the fragrance itself; 3/10 for the sillage/longevity. PS: wanted to share that I get nothing "Christmassy" about this scent. Must be a European (not American) association. Also, it does sweeten up in the dry down but it's never super sweet on me at all.

There are only two fragrances in the whole world that I’m lusting after, and this is one of them. This... is... HEAVENLY. I’m so picky about fragrances, so that’s saying a lot. It reminds me of Acqua di Parma Mandorlo di Sicilia, except this has more staying power. It’s a keeper!!! ***Update*** I bought a fb and I’m sorry to say that I’m disappointed in its terrible longevity. I won’t buy this again. Perfumers apparently think they’re clever and have everyone duped with this lack of longevity with perfumes lately. They expect that will increase sales because we’ll buy more bottles, but people won’t do that... especially not at these prices. We will move on to something that has staying power because we are not dumb. I’m considering a strongly worded letter to a few of these companies because I’m sick of experiencing this, and yes, I’m that passionate about my fragrances.

So so pretty! I love the blink-and-you'll-miss-it minty-herbal opening (hemp, I guess) against the fluffy sugared orange-blossom, and the airy vanilla that creeps up in the base. Although it is indeed light and not super long-lasting, I get plenty of longevity in warmer weather. It completely avoids the syrup-suffocation of LDBS while retaining the marshmallowy sweetness, and it feels much more modern than Sintra (I haven't tried Oriana). On the name front, I def agree with others: it makes no sense. Even if orange-blossom marshmallow is a Xmas thing in France, the perfume itself has nothing Christmassy about it, but is rather the epitome of flirty, casual spring/summer exuberance. I genuinely have no idea why people think it smells like Devotion, I cannot see any connection beyond maybe the faint vanilla drydown which maybe evokes Devotion's vanilla?

Uncomplicated soft sweetness, and delicious smelling, when I first smelled Guimauve at the Printemps counter in Paris I was completely obsessed and completely broke. My husband describes it as a smell "you want to keep falling into" - I had to have it. I kept the test strip near the head of my bed for an olfactory pick-me-up until 4 months later when I returned to Paris, I headed straight to purchase. Although not a true quality fragrance-- it's not very long lasting, it cost me 100€, a price I typically pay for Serge Lutens, it is a very satisfying gourmand fragrance that just makes me feel amazing when I wear/smell it. It's my favorite at the moment. There's nothing I can complain about.

I am an avid perfume collector and reviewer, and this is my favourite perfume of all time. It is so beautifully sweet and feminine, lasts for 6+ hours, and just has that addicting marshmallow smell that leaves people wanting more :) It's almost exactly the same as Parfums de Marly Oriana, but a little heavier on the citrus opening. It is not at all similar to Killian DBS, I find DBS much sweeter and heavier, and a lot more distinctive because of the caramel. This perfume on the other hand is an orange/lemon sweet opening, followed by marshmallow and vanilla goodness as it settles on your skin. I could not recommend more. The best perfume ever!

This actually is quite similar to LDBS in my opinion. As someone mentioned is LDBS much more syrypy, while Guimauve de Noel is rather toned down. But still - they are similar to me. They both share same notes. I love it very much! Longevity is fine, around five hours tops. Then you have to respray. I don’t know about the projection, seems quite faint and sits close to the skin. But it is very well handcrafted so I can really recommend this one instead of splurging on LDBS. This one goes for about 90 dollar and is a 50 ml. I’m confuzed by the name though, i don’t think it smells christmasy at all

Piney citrus plus tooth-ache sweet marshmallow-y vanilla! They come in alternating wisps; more piney/citrus than sweet/vanilla! An odd fragrance, but odd in a very good way. Something about it has a poolside-in-the-tropics vibe to it! I almost could swear in one whiff I almost caught the faintest hint of chlorine - probably my imagination! Definitely a feel-good, childhood nostalgia scent - though hard to put my finger on why. Can easily see this on either a man or a woman, maybe even more so a man. Unique fragrance! Nicely done! Will have to keep an eye on this company

If this would be first niche floral sweet vanilla that I'd have smelled in my life, I would probably fall in love instantly. But since I've smelled a lot of fragrances this type, it smells kind of familiar and nothing special to me. I love the quality though, the fragrance is surely sweet, but definitely not cloyingly or fruity sweet, nor it is girly. It leans more to powdery sweet imo, which is great. Agree that it has Killian/Parfums De Marly/MFKurkdjian character in its own way. Simply said, it is cheaper version of high quality feminine fragrance.

Simply sweet, floral and lovely. It opens with a generous wash of orange blossom, which I love. As it settles, it becomes something like a raw little mound of vanilla sugar, lifted by a hint of bitter orange water that gives the fragrance a more interesting edge. I don’t really get the marshmallow in winter vibe; to me, this feels much more like an orange blossom, sweet summer fragrance. Yes, it is really sweet, but neither cloying nor dull. It also really reminds me of Heliotrope by Perfumer H, though this one is a touch sweeter.

Gorgeous sugared orange blossom scent. I guessing that’s where the Love Don’t be Shy comparison comes from. And honestly, they’re not wrong, but it’s also not a dupe. If you like that, you’ll probably like this, and it’s more than less than half the price ( I also prefer Guimauve de Noel). I do get a little mint, which I wouldn’t think I would like, but actually makes the fragrance sparkle. This scent is perfection and I have to have it, but I do wonder how it will perform in the heat, as it is decadent in the winter.

Orange blossom, orange, and sweet, light vanilla. Good projection and lasting power, but you need to overspray a bit. Linear. Pretty and feminine but not juvenile. Essentially a daytime scent, but I think it work for going out at night as well. It's supposedly a winter perfume, but in my opinion it's more of a warm weather scent, as it's not particularly heavy. I've been wearing it this spring but mainly purchased it to wear in the summer as I think it'll smell even more amazing radiating off hot skin!

Opens with a sharp neroli, very green. Almost grassy and off-putting. I did not like the way this sat on my skin for the first little while. It was more reminiscent to Sintra. The orange blossom is slow to warm up. After about two hours, that’s where I can smell the sugary orange blossom-vanilla creamsicle. Hours later, I enjoy the soft, powdery orange blossom-vanilla wafts. Unlike LDBS, this doesn’t have that heavy synthetic sugared Turkish delight note. It’s less syrupy and more naturally sweet.

The orange blossom is bright but soft and never too floral. The sugar note is more of a dusting of powdered sugar, aids in the gentle sweetness and a touch of powdery texture. This is the fastest I've ever put a dent in a bottle, I simply cannot get enough! I also appreciate the family nature of this house, the packaging and amount of samples sent were also stellar! Close to Love Don’t be Shy, however Guimauve is more well rounded and not over the top tooth rotteningly sweet like Love.

Orange blossom and vanilla! This is a straighforward scent, what you see listed in the notes is what you get. Ideal for those who want uncomplicated, no fuss scents. It is unisex, has a decent longevity and for the price point, I find it to full bottle worthy, also an easy reach. It can be fun to layer it or simply wear it on its own. Great if you are looking for a signature scent, I wear it during summer and it warms up and develops beautifully on skin. I will repurchase it for sure!!

I don't see how this is compared to Love don't be shy. They are like day and night, completely different. I guess the fact that they share three of the same notes can give somewhat of the same vibes, but they are not similar imo. LDBS is a bit too floral for me and there's something I can't pinpoint that I really don't like, probably the neroli. This one though, it's gorgeous and more simple in some ways. Just a shame it's so hard to get, especially where I live.

This is just delicious. Orange blossom, sugar, sweet. But not overpowering. It's more subtle than LDBS. I have both and don't find them to be that similar, actually. They're in the same group, but this is not as strong. It's a lovely sweet scent that just makes you smell so good to anyone who gets close to you. It doesn't fill the room or anything. I also have Sintra and if you hate the green note in Sintra, you would probably really like this.

Yummy. Sweet lightly sugared vanilla marshmallows with hints of orange blossom. Scent sits close, light, but does last. Somewhat similar to Reminiscence Dragee, however the Dragee is much more powdery almond and it is projects a LOT more. Similar to Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Mandorlo di Sicilia....without the anise. Does not smell like Guerlain Mon Precieux nor does it smell like Love By Kilian. I have both of those fragrances too.

Finally got this after it being on back order-I love it so much. Gorgeous fluffy marshmallow that doesn’t try too hard. I tested this, the OG kilian LDBS, and MP Sintra next to each other and this was my personal favorite (although truthfully I like them all!). I kept getting whiffs of this throughout my day and just fell in love. It smells the least “chemically” of the 3 but lasts and lasts. Beautiful beautiful beautiful.

This perfume is so delicious I bought a full bottle after having a decant for months. It's exactly what it looks like from the notes-sugary marshmallow and orange flower goodness. It's definitely not too 'flowery', I don't get any soap, and I have Kilian's 'Love, Don't Be Shy' also and they are different enough I need both. Also, this thing has tenacity! It's still on my skin the next day, and the sillage is a few feet.

A very citrusy Sintra. I'm sensitive to citrus in perfumes, it reminds me of bathroom cleansers but this is nuanced and doesn't give me cleanser. But I'm sure I also get something green or spicy slightly reminiscent of christmas, don't know what it is but I don't feel like this is as simple as vanilla sugar and orange blossom. However it's between a like and a love and I will definitely get a full bottle.

It’s like a perfect combination of many scents I already love but this is more refined and pretty. The citrus is not screechy and the sugar is not artificial, there is an almond powdery touch too. If you like Oriana, D&G Femme, Rouge Smoking, Mandorlo... try this. Edit: opening on clothes smells very citrus herby like fresh marijuana. But this goes away as it dries.

Love!!! It is so delicious! I like sweet but do not like too heavy, gourmand, baking sweet, this is just a fluffy sweet that I can't get enough of. I do get a slight mint on occasion, kind of there but not...I wonder if that has anything to do with the noel part of the name ( like candy cane)? I purchased 2 testers and for sure ordering a full bottle.

Someone stole this perfume from my bag a while ago, and I've finally got a bottle of it again. Still mad about that. I love this scent its citrusy and sweet in a way thats really comforting. Although I wear it as a man its definitely more feminine, if thats something you care about.

Candied orange blossom with a creamy vanilla base, one of my signature scents has been la Temperance by Dolce and Gabbana and this reminds of that one but is definitely better and more subtle. Not as sweet as many would think and definitely not cloying. Very lovely.

I just tried it for the first time. It reminds me a lot of Dolce & Gabbana The One for women, which was my favorite perfume 8 years ago. Update: This one feels sweeter and more “lactic” than D&G the one, and not in a good way.

Opens up with a blast of orange blossom, after a while sweet sugary sweetness will remain. Sweeter than PDM Oriana, but they smell the same at the opening but slightly different in dry down. This is much simpler. I love it

Full bottle, I want it! It is so delicious. Lovely orange blossom blast initially. I love the vanilla dry down. It's a burnt sugary sweet vanilla. It smells like Turkish delight with incense. Love it! 🖤

I’m in love with this fragrance. this smells exactly like a freshly cut orange sprinkled with some sugar and vanilla. It is very refreshing yet light and sweet. Just wished it last longer!

This is a close to the skin type of scent, but I find it addictive. Even though it has only 3 notes, the vanilla fragrance has a certain complexity to it. I layer with Oriana.

It makes me want to wear it during the colder months. It smells like delicious baked sweets. It makes me feel so happy.

A roll of Necco wafers or a box of valentines conversation hearts. I love this.

Sebastian "The Perfume Guy" on YouTube RAVED about this fragrance. And Sebastian and I "usually" share our likes/dislikes for similar fragrances. And with Sebastian's endorsement, I decided to blind buy a full bottle of Guimauve de Noel 31. Perhaps my expectations were too high; however I was expecting a BEAST MODE fragrance loaded with perfect orange blossom, balanced & slightly sweet vanilla, creamy lactonic notes, sugar, etc, etc. So, on my skin, this perfume opens with a milky (not creamy) almost "green" note. Yes, initially I smell something vegetal. Some sites list cannabis accord, or cannabis leaf as a perfume note; however that note is not consistently listed on most fragrance sites. As the perfume develops during the next 10-20 minutes, a thin, gentle, powdery, almost "watery" orange blossom note rises, along with some faint, ethereal, creamy notes. And that's about it. Done and over. This is not by any means a complex fragrance, which is fine. But as a solo fragrance, I WAS expecting a bit more performance from the singular, main accord. EDITED TO ADD: I find IF I douse myself with my 100ml bottle (several sprays...like 12 times), I CAN smell the fragrance rising from my skin. I (sorta) detect fragrance ONLY if I literally bathe in the perfume. If liberally over-applied, I CAN smell a pleasant trail of sugary orange, orange peel and orange blossom flowers. Yet even with this type of over-application, no one around me can smell the fragrance when applied. And longevity is not great at approximately 2 hours. Silage is absent, as I would consider this a "skin scent" that plays very close to one's body. I'll (likely) use up the full bottle but I would never purchase this EdP again. Not in love. Disappointing, to say the least.

Sweet fluffy citrus - a pared down LDBS (and I’m not saying its the same scent as LDBS but the way the orange blossom comes off is very similar). Definitely does have the marijuana quality in the opening which is really interesting. I found a random sample - had no clue what it was. Sprayed it thinking I was getting a Christmas scent. Nope. The citrus is very upfront initially, and then immediately backed by sweet powdery vanilla. I truly have no clue how it also smells like weed. If you are American and grew up in the 90s ...it smells a bit like lemonhead candies. As it settles it smells like a combo of LDBS and a lighter D&G Devotion to me (I have not smelled Lira). I really pick up the orange blossom (backed by citrus and vanilla). Will enjoy my sample. A weird and fun find. (*EDIT: came back to say I have worn this a few more times and it’s nice. It’s softer and less in your face citrus than a lot of the compared perfumes. It’s also has no projection. Lasts about 3 hours for me.)

I enjoy the orange blossom in the dry down of Love, Don't be Shy by Killian, so I decided to purchase a sample of this based on a suggestion. This fragrance isn't too far off in similarity. It starts with a soapy, spicy neroli with a sweet vanilla smell. It slowly transitions to a strong caramel smell, very dark, warm and cozy. As this eases into the dry down stage, the orange blossom gentles, losing the spice and the harder soapiness from the initial application. The caramel sugar smell lightens up slightly and prevents the orange blossom from turning the fragrance into a soapy smell. It stays very comfortably in this gourmand stage. Orange blossoms coated in caramel and floating in a bowl of sugar water. This is most likely too sweet for some, but if you enjoy fragrances like Pink Sugar, Love Don't be Shy, or L de Lolita Lempicka, this is sure to be up your alley.

Orange blossom sprinkled with sugar. It's more like a metaphor of a marshmallow than a photo-realistic marshmallow, if that makes sense. I'd qualify it as a diet gourmand--- if you compare it with popular fragrances of the same DNA, (think LDBS OG & Extreme, Sintra & Oriana), it feels less sweet. Very pretty orange blossom though. I don't get much evolution on my skin, so not many things are going on. Perfect if you like a more minimalistic approach in perfumery. I don't think you should only wear it in cold weather, it might actually be prettier in spring and summer. It feels too simple, too delicate for cold weather, actually. I personally wouldn't buy it as a marshmallow perfume. It doesn't satisfy my thirst for marshmallow at all. However, if I only view this as a sweet orange blossom, it is fine. I must admit I wish it was more complex.

I go anosmic to it very fast, but even at its best it's thin. It's kind of precious, if you know what I mean. My husband says it smells like a faint floral sweet soap and I can see that. I don't get soap, per se, but I get the grooming product feel of it. I have 9 of the reminds of section and besides the orange flower they aren't similar. It's not like you're gonna smell LDBS, Oriana, Sintra, Nobile 1942, Rem. Dragee, Mandorlo di Sicilia, Devotion, Blue Moon or Lira (that one's a head scratcher) when you spray this. You'll smell orange flower that's light n fluffy. Sweet. But that's about all. I'd test before you buy. I sound negative, but I like it, I love orange flower scents, lol.

G de Noël is an excellent gourmand fragrance for wintry evenings either on a date or with your amour: it’s sweet and inviting without being sticky or cloying - however, the first 30-60 minutes can exhibit a slight 'incense' smell but this passes. This Parle Moi de Parfum fragrance has beastly longevity and it can be smelled heavily on bedsheets for days. On my skin I smell a somewhat forward scent of what reminds me of warm - but not toasted - marshmallows that’s really quite nice... it’s not at all what one may consider a ‘typical’ Christmassy fragrance except for conjured memories of marshmallows in hot chocolate.

For some reason I don't get the orange blossom here. I simply get an airy sugary sweetness that seems to come and go on my skin. I wanted more orange blossom or petitgrain from this fragrance but I find I quite like the sample in spite of myself. I don't think I will get a full bottle because I've so many gourmand fragrances but this is intriguing for me. I do feel it sits rather close to the skin, but has a nice sillage as one moves about. I am testing this in our colder months, but I can see this holding its own or even transforming in the spring or summer. I'll hold onto my sample and try again then.

Guimave de Noel is basically orange blossom water flavoured marshmallow in fragrance form yet it's a fresher take on a gourmand. The sugar note reminds me of those large white sugar crystals you find on brioche. There is a slight muskiness on my skin even though musk isn't listed as a note. Come to think of it, this fragrance gives me 2006 Marie Antoinette vibes (directed by Sophia Coppola) and everything sweet, feminine and sweet in that film. Peformance and sillage are decent too.

A comfortable and mild Christmas gourmand. Guimauve de Nöel is relatively straight forward & linear. I smell burnt sugar, cloves, liquorice, orange flower and tonka/vanilla sweetness. Performance is limited; Guimauve forms a close bubble of Xmassy goodness, and unfortunately doesn't hang around too long. Understated and cozy. Easy to wear, more suited to colder days. I like this; potentially bottle worthy if you aren't already loaded with gourmands, or really like Xmas.

It reminds me of a watered down Love Don’t Be Shy. The orange blossom and marshmallow association isn’t new but always pleasant. It might be redundant to add this to your collection if you already own LDBS, Sintra or Oriana in my opinion, even though there are some slight differences between these three options. On the dry down the powdery marshmallow note overpowers the orange blossom but it’s very similar to LDBS to me. Nice nonetheless, but not revolutionary

The whole marshmallowy sweet orange blossom thing isn't new, and if you get into it you may start splitting hairs between different styles of orange blossom marshmallow... yet at the end of the day they're all pretty good because it's just such a nice scent profile. Like most of the fragrances from Parle Moi, I dig it, I enjoy wearing it and it's a good price... and that's about it. It doesn't send shivers down my spine or anything but maybe that's fine.

Sweet Cream of White Flowers. Ultra-sweet creamy vanilla is the opening. Then orange blossom, which smells like a jasmin-y neroli appears. And that is it. Simple but beautiful. Sweet, creamy, vanillic, fluffy, mildly coconutty, white floral, neroli, a touch of jasmine, and slightly soapy. If you take the original 4711 Cologne and drench it with sugar and vanilla, you would get something similar to this. Very likeable! Unisex, cool weather wear. "Like"

This is a sweet Vanilla scent, but nit just your juvenile Vanilla, but thus has a little twist to it. I didn't see that any if the reviews mentioned it, but it has a touch of a mintyness in the backyard. Mint is not a note mentioned but I get just a hint of mint and I really like it. It has a calming affect and keeps the fragrance from turning too sweet. Nice airy fresh scent. I'll keep testing this one but so far it's really good

Delicious orange blossom and sugar. It's a very soft and delicate fragrance which lingers beautifully as a skin scent. I wish I got more marshmallow. I tested this frag again July 2024. nfbw. - Definitely reminds me of Love by Kilian....and California Reverie by Van C Arpels. Drydown is soapy orange blossom with a touch of vanilla. This is my favorite from the entire line. I also enjoy Tonne de Roses and Milky Musk.

I expected a more Christmas-y smell but I get a huge slap of orange blossom. I hate orange blossom note. They smell rubbery to me. I should have convinced myself not to get it when I saw orange blossom but the promise of marshmallow skin made me get a decant. I mean who doesn't want to smell like a huggable marshmallow pillow? It smell intoxicating sweet rubber. People might like that smell but not me.

Baby Sintra on my skin. Opens with a sharper orange blossom, like Sintra, and while Sintra mellows into sweet luciousness, this little love becomes sweet and redolent with softer orange blossom, but without the creaminess I love in Sintra and LDBS. So, not a win with my skin chemistry but I can see why so many love this one.

this starts with the most gorgeous orange blossom note. i am immediately reminded of some unknown vintage perfume...then i get hints of the sugar and vanilla. it's a bit sweet but not as cloyingly sweet as other orange blossom/vanilla combos i've tried. very pretty and this particular orange blossom note is just gorgeous.

Its lovely, but lacks performance. It radiates with in arms length for 1 hour tops. Lovely soft sweet Orangblossom Vanilla. Then it ahrinks down to a skin scent. Still lovely, more TicTac than Marshmallow, but it stays at a intimit soft wisper of a scent for mabye 4 more houers and then its gone.

This perfume is for the gourmand lover, perfect for Christmas season. It is a very sweet, simple and cocooning scent. Simple with orange blossom, sugar and vanilla, very well balanced. 100% unisex and for all the age (kids included). 7/10 for Christmas season
