The open on this is very nice. It hits that sweet spot of orange fruit dominant fragrances between too sugary and too bitter. Orange Hyper Essence at this stage is really all about the orange and the sense of airy energy it brings, but there’s also a bit of underlying greenness and spice to counterbalance orange’s juicier tendencies. This keeps it light and refreshing in the top notes stage which lasts about half an hour. It has the feel of a classic cologne and it’s something you’d reach for on a hot humid day to cut through all the languor. What I found though, as the heart notes came out on my skin, is that the ginger and cardamom started to come in more, and segued that light refreshing beginning into slightly sweaty territory. I was worried this was going to ruin the fragrance for me, but no, it quickly course adjusted and the sweatiness turned into a sense of depth and weight, giving this orange fragrance a possible application beyond just the hottest months of summer. I have to admit though, I really prefer that effervescent orange open, and would be tempted to buy this if it stayed around longer. Orange Hyper Essence has a moderate sillage, my husband couldn’t really smell it on me til I sprayed a fair amount, but then he could and that sillage stayed around for several hours.

A really spa-like citrusy scent. I don't know if I'd wear it on the regular, but would be wonderful for a relaxing day in or at bedtime. Smells like a hot towel they hand you in a first class flight (in a good way).

This is a wonderful fragrance - for about 30 minutes, then it disappears. For the little while the fragrance is noticeable, it's great. If it lasted longer, I'd purchase a full bottle. But I'll pass on this one.

Tangy orange candy scent! Smells fizzy and a bit gingery. Reminds me of an orange soda or a sugary cocktail. Sweet and sour. 100% fruity and juicy. Recommend if you like sweet orange notes.

Hyper orange is exactly right. Orange is not just the main character, but the only character, and it’s on steroids.
