Tomboy Neroli 65

My experience: Neroli is not my fave and there’s a LOT of it in most fragrances nowadays. Tom Ford NeroliPortofino is not pleasant and was the reason I was put off by Neroli. But this house has incorporated this note into a light airy fresh scent that I really like. I was surprised at the low marks but this is not offensive to me. And everyone has their preferences but it is not, in my opinion, such a terrible scent. I do gravitate toward my faves of this house but BRAVO Parle Moi de Parfum for making a lovely neroli I can include in my growing collection🥰💐

I love this fragrance. For me, it leans masculine certainly. Great fresh neroli opening. And then a woodsy ambery musky base which I smell for hours. Feels modern, but uses a great classic note (neroli). Feels sexy, I’d say. It’s not overly complex, but smells very well done. Not a strange niche scent. Can be used anytime or anywhere you’d use Bleu de Chanel, which is effectively anytime anywhere. If not for the price, Tomboy Neroli would be huge, I suspect.

This is the perfect unisex, neroli/orange blossom, slightly soapy summer time scent. I prefer this to TF Neroli Portofino as Tomboy Neroli is more delicate. This is perfect if you live somewhere where it is very hot and humid during the summer. As I mentioned, I find there to be a soapy note which gives this fragrance a clean vibe.

A soft breeze in an orange grove. This is a super airy and fresh scent centered around orange blossom. The neroli here isn't sharp or pungent, but pillow soft like a cloud. This fragrance does a Dr Jekyll Mr Hyde act depending on the weather. If you overspray (because it's airy) it smells like an orange Starburst candy. In the extreme heat (I hike and work out in 100° degree temps) it reveals a hidden musk animal that's lurking below and gets strongly animalic on my skin. If it contains amber (which I don't get from it) it's a clean white amber. At room temperature or below, it's more soapy fresh and behaves like an orange blossom detergent. Similar musk on my skin to PDM Galloway. Very relaxing and interesting scent, with sleeping musk monster lurking deep that will come out in the high heat 🐊 😄 Interesting stuff which I wasn't sure about initially, but after a few wearings, I really dig it. Scent 7.5/10 Performance 6.3/10 Update: I raised my score because I reach for this a lot in the heat. It seems to have a cooling effect on my skin.

A distant cousin of gentle fluidity silver and a relative to dunhill icon I tested 4 or 5 from this house and what I found out is that they make tremendous fragrances The only issue that is very obvious with all their creations is the performance Sadly it’s a deal breaker to me The only exception I give my weak scents is if they are something out of this world which these are not I really enjoyed it while it lasted almost no projection or sillage If it was a lot cheaper I could’ve considered buying it

If you are looking for a airy/green very fairy type neroli then you better skip Tomboy Neroli. For sure there’s more than three notes, I have to say that it doesn’t smell floral (neroli) neither green (petitgrain). It smells woody, like the interior of an empty drawer. Actually, empty drawer wouldn’t be a bad name for this creation lol I like it even though it doesn’t present itself as a polished or sophisticated fragrance. Perhaps if spraying sparingly.

This is a nice, clean indeed soapy scent. A nice casual layer to a cute spring outfit or over a fall leather jacket. A clean and simple citrusy neroli, the orange blossom is quite present and uplifting. Very much a day time perfume, with a pretty decent sillage! Went through my entire sample quite quickly, however I'm not sure at this price point I would buy an entire bottle. If they had 10ml travel sprayers absolutely :) 7.5/10

to me, tomboy neroli is the more masculine/unisex-leaning version of ysl libre. it's a soapy, slightly musky orange blosson/neroli with a good dose of grassy and aquatic notes. nothing too special about this scent- the longevity is decent and i like it's fresh aspects for summer, but not something i would reach for all the time! it definitely projects decently and has a freshly scrubbed/clean feeling.

100% unisex, for all the family members, for neroli lovers. Very fresh and clean, perfect for spring and summer. Same vibe of Portofino, Flamenco Neroli, Neroli Oranger, ... Versatile, easy to wear. Linear, moderate sillage and longevity. 7/10

Opening is briefly compelling: a kind of dirty orange blossom with just a hint of cigarette smoke running through it that I find really interesting. This then quickly mixes with a synthetic ambery dry down. There is a very short moment where I like this mix, because the balance between neroli and amber creates an interesting tension and really makes for something truly unisex. But once the neroli fades, the amber takes over completely and becomes VERY loud. All in all, I found this an intriguing experience - as with most scents of this brand - but not quite well-balanced. Would have been great if that neroli note could have persevered a bit more.

it's . . . fine! plucked it out of my samples collection for a random scent for the day. soapier than i expected, but not awful. the floral is very present, and if i catch the smell out of the corner of my consciousness i catch the muskiness, but the soapiness . . . i do not enjoy overmuch. at best, the picture it paints is of being the squire to a victorious knight, crowned with flowers, coming to be cared for after winning a tourney, the redolent blossoms mixing with soft soapy water, rushing over sweaty skin, and getting my shirt and hands wet. at worst, it reminds me of hotel bar soap. which is not terrible!

Not a bad scent, but nothing really interesting here. In my opinion it's not worth the price, definitely nothing I'd buy a full bottle of. Very "soapy" finish, which I personally dislike. I'm sampling a set of 12 of Parle moi de Parfum's scents, and while I've liked several a lot, this is so far my second least favourite after Mile High.

Neroli can be a bit boring for me, but the amber in this does make it slightly more interesting. Not for me, but would be something I'd like to smell on my partner.

If I stick my nose on my skin, it's actually interestingly pleasant. Unfortunately, anything more than an inch away from where I sprayed directly and Tomboy Neroli smells like generic drugstore perfume from the early aughts. I feel like this is bad enough that it's rude to wear in public, which isn't something I often say. Normally it's more like "whatever haters, I do what I want" and spray some more. This may be a personal chemistry issue, because I can't deny that the skin scent has a ton of potential.

Unpleasant neroli with too much chemical notes ... i will finish to believe that i really don't like a single creation from this perfumer, an old-fashioned style of the 90s using too many chemicals and without evolution or subtlety.

One of the most generic scents I've ever tested. It smells like all those magazine ads that unfolded for a tester of some super-marketed drugstore fragrance. Soapy and bland. Not for me.

Tomboy Neroli 65 is the let down from the house. Dusty and synthetic, more of a mainstream offering than indie or niche. Performance was above average.

It's a dirty neroli that opens wonderfully bright and citrusy. I'm not fond of the indolic drydown. hard pass. nfbw. -

This scent smells synthetic, cheap and horrible. This would be perfect as a toilet cleaner, gets me headache.

I am a neroli lover. I have a large collection. I almost fainted in horror when I smelled the strip of paper with this fragrance. There is no right to do something like that to neroli, at the time of the olfactory trauma with this fragrance, I was wearing Phul Nana, a fine example of neroli alchemy. Tomboy is very different from Neroli Oranger, which I often use in the summer or after showering. Tomboy is sour, aggressive, masculine and vulgar.

What the 🤯 ? This is vile! It smells disgusting, like a mix of chemicals and vomit halitosis. I couldn’t wait to scrub it off. The remainder of the sample got flushed down the toilet, exactly where it belongs 🤮 *this is my opinion, on my skin and to my nose.

It's just a hot mess of harsh and loud woody amber.

i have tried samples of them. most of their perfumes has similar DNA in it. it doesnt mean they are similar at all, but most of their perfume is quite smooth and unisex. in fact most expensive clothes doesnt scream the price how expensive it is. also this perfume is quite expensive (its not so expensive as a niche perfumes tho) but it does the job. and you know the quality and you dont need to project other people who great perfume you wear, because you know how you love it and thats all that matters. this perfume is quite present for everyone and personally one of my fav citrus woody perfume.

Very clean and soapy. The neroli in the opening is very sweet similar to sundazed. Almost candy like. Then becomes a more masculine leaning fresh scent. It does have a bit of generic Mens deodorant aspect to it but it’s elevated and not as bad as it sounds. It’s very smooth and not at all sharp or cheap smelling. It also Becomes quite peppery in the dry down. I wouldn’t complain smelling this on someone it’s kinda sexy

Eight months ago I got infected with COVID and I've only started regaining my sense of smell about 4 months ago. My nose has never been the same however. I remember posting a review three years ago about how much I loved Tomboy Neroli. Right before I got COVID, I bought an 8 ml bottle of it off of Sniph. I'm now wearing it and all I can smell is Nair hair removal cream. 😭

Very very rich in ambery woods!! You smell the orange flower at the beginning but it becomes more and more woody. It could be a floral flanker of Invictus or Diesel Bad. It should have been called Bois de Neroli.

I really like this one. First that I try of this brand. I sense mold (??!) at the beginning but in drydown it turns in to a more flowerly scent. Neroli and orange blossom. Will hold on to it a while anyways.

This is incredible... I love orange blossom and neroli perfumes but I've never smelt it in such a deep and rich concoction. I tried it on a sweltering hot day and I'm head over heels in love. Wishlisted!!

Too sharp. Straight alcohol, it stings to smell it!
