This is best described as mystery meets mastery. Have we all been asleep for the past two years? At times a nightmare, other times surreal but most of the time praying for a better tomorrow; and dreaming about a brighter future. Understanding that change is inevitable and this too shall pass. Well, This scent is more symbolic and nostalgic than it’s name would suggest. This master perfumer made scents that were massive hits three decades ago, He made them for other brands and with less sophisticated materials and many times mostly chemicals. So when this scent was modernized and updated for his own brand - it was more than improved, it transitioned into something special, a modern masterpiece; one with a proven scent dna, I suppose mass appealing but no less sublime. It is sweet, smooth, and best described as a Amber Fougere. It is both warm and bright. But one, that isn’t grounded in the base of oak moss like Mousee Uliminae by Rogue(also a masterpiece). This scent Mr. Almairac shopped the world and constantly re-forumulated until the scent we wake up to is perfected. It is the past and the future in a bottle. Since ingredients become more expensive and more rare, blending or even breaking the lines in Scent boxes while still showing a familiarity may become the norm. This gem, is both light and dark as the bottle would suggest and the hidden golden juice will reveal. It will change with the weather and is the rare amber that is appropriate for all seasons. I am not sure why it is so underrated, or even why this house doesn’t get the love it deserves? It is almost like the name of this scent isn’t just symbolic - it is an announcement. Don't sleep on this. The future has a way of arriving unannounced. - 4.46/5

Got a sample of this from Luckyscent with my last order, now that I've worn it a few times I'm getting a full bottle. It does remind me of the original Minoutare and Roma Uomo (Dunhill Desire too) but less sweet, high pitched, smells a little more grounded and natural. It's exactly the sort of fragrance I've been looking for. I'm about to be middle aged, and I've been looking for a fragrance that balances sweetness and fruity notes without feeling like I'm wearing something aiming for the 20something fuck boy market. This is perfect. I get a sort of vague Dole fruit cup fruitiness, soft amber and tonka with a ghost of a rose note. It's more of a vibe/aura than individual notes. Performance is monstrous which is shocking by today's standards. Normally I get two wears out of a Luckyscent sample, I'm on my fourth one today. It lasts all day, it projects, and it smells sweet and inviting without being immature. Price is sort of the the Achilles heal, I could get three bottles of the the aforementioned frags for less than a full bottle of this. But for me it's better than those three and fills a need I've had for a while so I'll be getting a full bottle. If you're a little older and feel like Eros isn't your style, try this out!

Upon first sniff I was dissapointed. I let it settle and was pleasantly surprised with how it transitioned into the middle notes. I was transported back to when I was 16/17 years old and in love. I didn't wear minatour back then, I know that because I was poor. However, I think this reminds me a of a deodorant I wore back then, or something my gf at the time was wearing. I was unsure about it for a while, until a few days later when I was riding my e-bike, I thought I could smell something really sexy and eventually after a few rides I realised the smell of WUW was stuck in the strap of my helmet. So I tried the sample a few more times and fell in love all over again. Anyway.....The vanilla in this is basically icecream. The other notes in the bass are so perfectly blended it's impressive and you can see how each note adds it's own piece of magic. I really like this, it's sweet, sexy, fresh and thick like something you could spread on toast and eat, like there is noone watching. If you sample it then be patient and get a larger sample. Top 3 favourites from this brand. Really lovely.

Wake Up World by Parle Moi de Parfum is another excellent offering from the house of Parle Moi de Parfum. There’s something about this fragrance that reminds me of the style of men’s colognes from the 1990s, yet it still manages to feel modern at the same time. In particular, I notice a strong resemblance to Minotaure by Paloma Picasso, which makes sense considering both fragrances were created by the same perfumer, Michel Almairac. The freshness here is elegant but not citrus-driven. Instead, there’s a cool, almost cold quality in the opening that contrasts beautifully with the warmer base notes. That balance between cool freshness and underlying warmth remains present throughout the entire wear. To my nose it leans slightly masculine, though still refined and versatile enough to be worn comfortably throughout the year. A very polished and distinctive fragrance overall. Scent: 8.5/10 | Longevity: 7.5/10 | Projection: 7/10 | Overall: 8.5/10

First time smelled this scent was a quick reminder of the Sculpture Homme, actually it was a riminder of my firend who had used it a lot back in days... Similarity with Sculpture is more than obvious, but "Wake up" is much better in therms of refinement. I would not like to cut this pefrume on parts and ingredients, because the blend as that is PERFECT, fresh, moderately sweet, sophisticated, VERY likable, performances is also pretty good, versability is 10 out of 10. "Parle moi de Parfum" was the only one boutique which i was visiting more than once during my stay in Paris for a 10 days... i I really like the story behind this house and their relationship with customers. Think, this house deserves all the praise, and if you're ever in Paris, take 15 minutes to visit this perfumery in Le Marais, cuz it's like visiting a small museum of perfumery. Why fix whats broken, with all the nostalgia of vintage items from furniture, clothing, haircuts and fragrances coming back to the lime light because so much things are just better quality in the pass vs the presence with all the clone houses and quick money grabs. This is just simply a high quality fragrance that morphs into something amazing and to die for. You have to let it sit for 30mins before judging it because it transforms into this lemony creamy goodness with clean facets and a splash of apple. This smells like Chanel edition Blanche mixed with still life in rio. This fragrance pulls in complements all day and last and projects. I love it so much

wake up world is a burst of green, sweet freshness. it dries down a lottttt more vanilla/tonka, but the opening is a pretty straightforward juicy/squeaky clean-feeling combo of citrus and apple. it feels like stepping out of the shower directly onto dewy grass in the morning. it does have a "men's deoderant" quality to it, but i feel that the sweet creaminess and amber in the base tones it down a bit and makes it a bit more interesting. the turkish rose definitely mellows it out and creates a sweeter, rounder scent profile. longevity is pretty good, not sure if i would buy a whole bottle though based on the pricepoint:/

For me this is better than Bond 9 Lafayette Street in every conceivable way. It has that warm spicy quality with apple a bit similar to PDM Layton. But perfume is not similar to Layton, it has fresh sharp fruity kick. Haven’t tried Picasso Minotaure but comparing this to Sculpture is an insult. Having same perfumer doesn’t change the fact that he used here just better ingredients and perfected his formula. I really think that some people don’t have the sense of quality. They just fail to pick up differences. Like watching a movie with 360p resolution instead of 1080p and saying it was the same. My score: 9.5/10

This fragrance is an excellent all-weather scent. I’d use this in the in almost any scenario or weather, except maybe the high heat, if outdoors. The opening is very fresh and citrusy and then you get a green apple that stays with you a long while, which I love. In the base, you get a rich warm amber that lasts a long time on me. Signature-scent worthy, in my opinion. More info added: Been wearing this a ton over the last few months and I went from liking it a lot to loving it. That opening is killer and that green apple...great.

I have to be honest, this is my favourite spring/summer scent but I must be crazy because this just smells like detergent to me. Like citrus dish washing soap. The dry down is what keeps me hooked and it really wakes me up as the name suggests. I came across it on my trip to Japan and then I lost the bottle so I had to buy another one. If the scent feels familiar to you then you are not alone as the perfumer Michel Almairac has concocted multiple variations of this scent for many houses.

This is a hidden gem. I saw this was compared to Lafayette St , which I was almost out of so I got a sample of Wake up world. Wow, I can definitely see the resemblance but this is different enough to be it’s own. They’re about 80-85% similar.After a few wears I fell in love and I eventually bought a 100ml for $170 , which isn’t bad compared to the over $300 price for Lafayette. Wake up world lasts longer and projects more. Save some money and buy this instead. 8.1/10⭐️

I absolutely love this scent, it has a 90's vibe but modernized. The opening is very fresh and green, dries down to a soapy, ambery, aquatic/fresh scent with some aromatics in the back. The Dihydromyrcenol ( compound used in soaps, detergents, and roomsprays) gives that ambroxan/aquatic/ fresh soapy profile in this scent, without smelling cheap. This is a fresher take on Paloma Picasso Minotaure, created by the same perfumer.

I have born in the 90’s and I was smelling this scent a lot when I was a kid. This scent is so nostalgic to me it’s bringing back memories and I love it so much. The scent is so beautiful and high quality. Michel Almairac you woke up my mind and you made my signature scent, I love your creations and in my mind I always look at you as the best perfumer who made the best male fragrances in history. Big RESPECT ❤️

I find this to be strangely hypnotic. I like the juxtaposed scent families. It is super intriguing to my brain. I usually avoid notes like green apple, but after smelling this, i don't think I will anymore... Wow! I keep sniffing my wrist, and it's like vanilla candle and alternatively dark berries and amber. I will be thinking hard about a full bottle of this one.

Every time i wear this I receive at least one complement. No other perfume in my collection does that. But that's just an added bonus. I personally adore the scent profile, especially mid to drydown, it also brings back memories as it kinda reminds me of Paloma Picasso's Minotaure that I used to wear alot as a teenager. Criminally underrated.

It's really very nice. A people pleaser to all around you. Really lovely dry down.. it's familiar but not at the same time. Worthy of a full bottle if you're needing a new all day every day frag. P.S... can still smell it after a shower also. Decent staying power

This is really strong! A scent for all seasons. Sometimes I get the apple scent and other times citrus. This transitions to a smooth benzoin, rose, vanilla and something that I can't put into words. This is energetic like an 80s kid's cereal commercial.

If you were ever a fan of the original Minotaure by Paloma Picasso, this is very similar in scent profile but is even deeper and richer. I grabbed a few backup bottles because it's that good.

My wife handed me a sample of this and I’m in love ! Beautiful sweet and fresh fragrance with just a touch of spice at the base. Projects well, stunning profile, with decent sillage.

The evolution on this scent is gorgeous! Opens with bright citrus, sultry rose middle, then on to warm, amber-y dry down. So beautiful, May be full bottle worthy!

This review is coming from somebody who owns Wake Up World, has had a bottle for over two years, but hasn't worn it for a long time and is coming back to test it... Below, I read "chemical bomb" and "almost feels like walking into a public bathroom that has just been cleaned" in the most recent reviews, and just after spraying it to test for the first time in a while, I won't lie to you - those descriptions felt... right. I would love nothing more than to come on here, and 'correct' those negative statements, but they're not far off. I don't know if it was seeing the words "dihydromyrcenol" in the notes and immediately thinking "chemical" while smelling it, but it certainly has a not-so-great opening. Sharp. Harsh. Not disgusting, not unwearable, but nothing smooth or refined. But then I gave it 3-5 minutes... It settled. Not into the full dry-down (obviously) but it settled. The chemical cleaner vibe, gone. The heavily acidic vibe, gone too. The fragrance I originally tested via an official sample, and then went on to buy this full bottle of, re-emerged. I went from thinking I might need to sell it, to remembering why I bought it in 5 minutes. This is such a "clean" fragrance in a way that doesn't smell like soap, doesn't smell aldehydic or laundry like, and doesn't smell powdery. It's warm, sweet, comforting, but clean. It's not shower gel, "blue" clean, but... the only thing I can think of is - imagine a soap, apple and vanilla candy scent bubble, that somehow manages to feel grown up, and *not* childish. It smells like a clean person, wearing clean clothes, walking through a candy store. That is a weird sentence, but if you've smelled it, I think you'd agree. It's casual, but stylishly put together, everyday work or everyday hanging out vibes. And somehow, even though it's sweet and clean, it still manages to be mostly masculine, and restrained in a way that is purposeful. And it doesn't smell old and doesn't smell mature, dated etc. I am someone who is almost allergic to masculine fragrances that smell like they're for older or more serious men (the Platinum Egoiste's of the world). This is not that. At all. In any way. Maybe this was based on or is remeniscent of older, classic fragrances, but it is very clearly made for *current* tastes. I can't imagine there are or were many grown men in the 80s and 90s who wanted to smell like borderline bubblegum laundry. So yes - the dry-down is where this fragrance shines, and fortunately (very importantly), *you don't have to wait too long to get to the good part*. It's literally a 3-5 minute process. Sample it, give it a shot. I think this would be very popular if it was more available in stores, or if the algorithm hustlers on the social media platforms got a hold of it. But for the rest of us, it's a sleeper.

Parle Moi De Parfum’s take on the ever so prevalent Fresh/Sweet fragrance that’s all over our current designer market. Opens with a pop of effervescent and juicy citrus, sweet green apple, and an overdose of synthetic chemicals like ambroxan and dihydromyrcenol. As it dries, it gains a woody, vanillic backbone that starts to bloom and support the ambroxan and sweet citrus opening. Pretty linear from this moment on, with nuances only being able to be noticed up close. Dihydromyrcenol, for those unfamiliar, is a synthetic compound that has bright, citric, floral, and sweet properties and has been one of YSL’s favorite ingredients for their bestselling Y line. There’s a lot of similarities and bits and pieces to a variety of designer fragrances out on the market right now, but for what it is: it’s well done. A great designer-esque, everyday, dumb reach, signature scent style fragrance with just a nice twinge of nicheness to it that elevates it ever so slightly above its competitors. If you like frags like the Y line, Eros, or Paco Rabanne’s Invictus line: you gotta get your nose on this. A bit more grown up, but still has that fresh sweetness people crave. Great performance with good projection for the first 1-3 hours, but curate your sprays to your setting and you should be fine. 3-4 was perfect for me. 7/10. Signature scent worthy. Song vibe - Good Morning by Kanye West TLDR - PMDPs take on the prevalent fresh/sweet genre currently sweeping the fragrance market. An ambroxan, sweet apple, and citrus bomb that develops a bit of woods and vanilla as it dries, but nonetheless a super versatile and easy to wear fragrance. Leans a bit masculine, but wear what you want. Hard to actively dislike.

UPDATE: Adding a little more now that I’ve tried Lafayette St. Everything I said in the review 3 spots below still applies, I just wanted to add a quick note after trying Lafayette St. They are incredibly similar, and are the same scent profile to a tee, but the easiest and quickest way I can sum up the difference is: Lafayette St. is 100%, pure uncut mass appeal. A little sweeter, everything smoothed out to feel *instantly* likeable to both wearer and those around. They want you to spray it, like it, and buy it on the spot. Wake Up World is the same scent, but challenges you a little, especially in the opening. Once it settles (literally 10 minutes in) it is just as likeable and approachable. But it tones down the “Like me! Like me!” vanilla sweetness of Lafayette St by about 30%. I can imagine most preferring LS, but the only real difference, besides the price, is personal taste. Quality wise, scent profile, versatility etc. etc. - they’re even. Performance and presence is also equal, in terms of projection and sillage, but LS is brighter and wants to be noticed, while WUW is subtle and reserved. But both smell great.

At first I wasn't sure about it, but I gave it a few more tries and it does smell better on my skin than on paper and it reminded me of something else which I just recalled which is Burberry Brit (lime poundcake). It seems a little bit more flexible, a little bit more fresh, a little bit more interesting than Burberry Brit for me, but it shares that lime dessert vibe that I do like about BB. I think it would be great in early fall or could even work for those who want a gourmand summer date night fragrance. Edit: I decided there is something bright yet indulgent about it and I am going to wear it for a gig (psych pop indie band), so I looked up the price of a FB and I just think it's a bit criminal for this fragrance, fun as it is, to be over $200. I will for sure use up my 5ml, but may give up on it after that.

Green apple, vanilla, florals, tonka, ambroxan. This is just like Bond No 9 Lafayette Street, which is just like Dunhill Desire Red, which is like Minotaure, which is like Nikos Skulpture, which is similar to montale spice and wood. Get the picture? Michel Almariac has the unique ability to sell the same fragrance to 10 different fragrance houses 😂. He did the same thing with masterpiece, Gucci Pour Homme! They're all good, but this isn't unique at all. This and Lafayette Street are probably the best of this DNA. Scent 6/10 Performance 5/10

I get something new everytime I smell this fragrance. At first I got more of the vanilla and benzoin, but now it just smells like a citrus bomb to me. I love putting this on in the morning to feel a boost and I can regularly smell it throughout the day. This has very good performance and is generally fairly priced. I don't think i'd ever get a full bottle because citrus isn't my thing but I can recognize a very well made, unisex fragrance. Overall 8/10

Definitely has a 90s vibe. I tried this because I love Bond #9 Lafayette st, and I do find this similar. I wasn't super happy with the performance initially but others did pick up on the scent easily within a medium radius. The scent profile definitely suits me and I will be picking up a bottle soon. 8.5/10

So fresh! And unisex and delightful. Daytime in any season. And if manufactured ingredients scare you as they do me then don’t worry. They’re not a problem in my opinion. Give it a try!

#1246 in my "Tour de Fragrance" The 1990's were both horrible and wonderful for me all at once. New career, new location, 3rd master's degree, new women, lots more travel, promotions, 60 hour weeks, but lots better income. Amidst the whirlwind the hot blonde choreographer I was dating convinced me to abandon my one liter bottle of Pierre Cardin and pay real attention to fragrance for the first time. I ordered several dozen sample bottles of scents I'd never tried, never heard of before. Some, like Houbigant "Duc De Vervins" and Dior "Eau Sauvage" made a lasting impression, and I have "Duc De Vervins Extreme" and "Eau Sauvage Parfum" on the shelf for business wear to this day. Others, in a time when more sour citrus scents were getting big, like Issey Miyake "L'eau d'Issey Pour Homme", struck me as smelling like armpit sweat and rotted fruit, or like Pino Silvestre, even smelled like Pine Sol cleaning solution. Among the scents I was indifferent to was one that just seemed weird to me. It wasn't masculine or feminine, and I really hated the container it came in. It was called "Minotaure." The bottle Minotaure came in looked like something from a box of cheap kids toys from the 60's, and my thought at the time was it wasn't masculine or feminine and really didn't communicate anything. So I used it once and eventually tossed it when I moved. This scent has that exact same sort of "neutrality", and as others have noticed, it even smells like Minotaure, though I would say with maybe a less pronounced rose note. And surprise, surprise, the same guy, Michael Almairac, created both scents. Because the rose is less noticeable and this scent is EDP, not EDT like Minotaure, there's a bit more for me to like here. Better longevity and projection, though moderate for an EDP. There's some similarity to Swiss Arabian "Shaghaf Oud Ahmar", though the rose in that one was too much for me. Also reminiscent of Frapin "1270 Extreme" (which like this scent isn't the least bit extreme). But this still strikes me as a very neutral scent that doesn't communicate anything. Personally, for the guys, I think you'll be happier opting for something like Natura's "K", which has the freshness this stuff has, but is more green and woody and lasts longer. The Natura is $50 on Purebrasil.com compared to $245 for this stuff at LuckyScent. Nevertheless, this is an inoffensive scent, so you can wear in in any environment. But unisex scents don't have to be as unsexy as this stuff, and it is pretty pricey for an EDP of Minotaure, a $39 scent that really wasn't crying out for an EDP version.

Easily could be a signature year-round scent. A sweet yet very fresh/clean fragrance. The apple is a crisp juicy apple couples with a delicate rose, along with the airy citrus upfront, and the sweet tonka and benzoin at the base, it all blends perfectly. Somewhere I am getting a faint soapy/clean smell, unsure of what it is but I really like it. I can detect a bit of a synthetic which could only be attributed to Dihydromyrcenol and ambroxan. This fragrance reminds me of a blend of YSL Ultime and Boss Bottled. Ultime as it dries and Boss Bottle upon initial spray. The only downside of this is the overall performance; longevity, its pretty bad on my skin. Sample was from 2ml spray bottle. Scent: 8/10 (very nice, mainstream appeal). Versatility: 10/10 Longevity 2/10 (on my skin it's only going for maybe 2 hrs may it's from a sample so this could be the issue ymmv) Projection 4/10 Sillage: 5/10 (actually leaves a decent scent trail, wife could smell me as I was walking down stairs I was maybe 4 steps in front). Seasons: Year round Price: $145 50ml and $235 for 100ml Overall impressions: Great year-round signature scent. Pleasant smell, inoffensive definitely a mainstream type fragrance. The price for the performance on my skin deters me from purchasing a bottle.

Wake Up World truly lives up to its name — a bright, citrusy opening with a sweet heart that instantly jolts you awake, drilling into your senses from the very first spray. I’m not usually a fan of such bold citruses and can’t wear them too close to my nose, so I apply this one to the backs of my hands and the inner elbows. And oh my — the sillage in the opening minutes is absolutely delightful. The citrus notes quickly give way to rose and sweet tonka bean, not trying to overpower them but complementing them, turning the scent almost candy-like. Up close, it even reminds me a bit of lemony desserts (which I don’t really like) — I catch hints of buttery frosting on a pastry and the tart heart of a citrus filling. As it dries down, the citruses mellow, and suddenly there’s this clean, laundered-linen note that emerges. I catch whiffs of it here and there throughout the day, even though I apply only a little. I’ve always thought of it as leaning more masculine — and Fragrantica seems to agree — but I wear it on hot summer days and find it absolutely perfect for the season.

I actually REALLY enjoyed this fragrance when I first got a sample of it, although I found the longevity somewhat lacking. One day, though, while in a department store, I got handed a test strip of a designer fragrance and I realized it smelled exactly like this. Maybe that is the point since Wake Up World is often described as an ode to men's fragrances of the past, but the fact that you can probably get a fragrance from the local Macy's for half the price that matches it so closely makes me doubt I'd ever jump at the chance for a full bottle. A nice sample while it lasted, though!

A clean and sweet citrus vanilla fragrance. In my opinion this is unisex. Smells like an orange creamsicle but it really isn’t cloying. The dihydromyrcenol and citrus make this light and refreshing to counteract that vanilla amber base. Does seem a bit youthful and playful. If someone walked past wearing this I would be pleased. Sits a bit close to the skin but longevity seems to be good. If you said that this fragrance seems a bit generic and unrefined for how much it cost I would understand. It definitely doesn’t smell like some high end art piece. It does smell good. 6.5/10

I liked it, but I don’t remember what it reminded me of. It started well, then became just normal, it didn’t blow me away.

Reminds me of Bvlgari Black but with more bite! Fresh and uplifting. Apple, vanilla and an x-factor.

On the plus side it has a warm spa vibe. Definitely seems more masculine to me anyway.

Smells ordinary...not my cup of tea

Wake up world! Wake up and smell the 90's, quite literally. Such a bold global proclamation deserves a better fragrance than this surely? Go back to sleep world, is more like it. Yeah I simply don't like this and it's not because I don't like DHM or Ambroxan, both great materials but I don't think this is showcasing an innovative way of using them. It smells to me of a lemon/bergamot opener on this insipid, pile of stuff, the soapy, herbal, 'man goo', that is dihydromyrcenol and some diffusive ambroxan and a hint of sickly coumarin warmth. I think it's a bit of nightmare actually and reminds me of stuff like Nikos Sculpture, oddly misshapen and ugly to most but with a strange beauty to the few. It also sort of reminds me a touch of 00's Gucci or even something which I like possibly Armani Code or something? But that's a prime example of how this kind of stuff (let's call it modern fougere) can be done right. I'm not mad at it, just disappointed but how could I not be, it's clearly supposed to make a statement, the bottle is dark as apposed to all the other Parle Moi perfumes, and the name screams a message, literally at the whole stricken space bauble we live on. Wake up!!!! The same message that was daubed in graffiti throughout the UK during the pandemic, as a 'deep' message to the sheeple.... man! pfffft!!! So whether the name is poignant to you or not, it certainly built up my expectations to a fever pitch, only to be deflated rather rapidly. Also Michel Almeriac making a 90's type, masculine (ok it's unisex marketed) hommage sounds on paper like something right up my street. It just isn't, I found it quite unpleasant.

Opens very fresh male marine citrus and then it dries down very feminine yellow floral. It goes from Lafayette street to Tilia in a few hours. It is the weirdest perfume transition I have smelled in a long time. To go from sexy man to slightly old lady is interesting.

gosh...a very chemical amber, like a bad souvenir of the 90's Minotaure. No more smootness and tonka been dream, just a caricature of the masculine perfumery from this period + using the worst habit of the actual one. very unpleasant

Competently done, that is certain, but this is just far too similar to the classic orange-creamsicle-amber of Paloma Picasso Minotaur, with just a bit of Granny Smith apple curveball. Not bad, but I'm good!

I waited for the dry down and it’s still a thumbs down from me. I’m picking up laundry soap. That’s all. I can’t get past it, just not my kind of scent.

Smells like Parfum de marly Layton.

Rarely am I disgusted by perfumes, but man, this one specifically, OMG, I couldn’t stand it. It smells so cheap and poorly made. It doesn’t scream quality at all. It almost feels like walking into a public bathroom that has just been cleaned after heavy use: you can smell the toxic bleach and harsh citrus bathroom cleaning products, while the dense, trapped air is still there (Gas), mixed with citrusy, chemical cleaners and other unpleasant smells coming from the toilets. Hard pass on this one. It smells like something a gym bro would wear, a teenager that drinks protein shakes and creatine, or the stereotypical super beefy, overly muscular guy at the gym. It screams “men,” but definitely not in a good way.

My first impression is this will be a big hit for the brand. It’s a modern amber fougere. I say it’s modern because you can definitely tell it’s has a “synthetic designer” side to it. But don’t let this scare you away it’s still verrrrry unique and interesting, and best of all supremely wearable! There is a lot of contrast in this fragrance- there’s a juicy apple that plays amazingly with the rose, even though it’s not listed I smell lavender, and and a very interesting salty amber base. When all the notes combine I almost feel like I get a spicy cardamom but that could just be my nose since I don’t see that listed Overall amazing! Perhaps in the style of Arabian Oud Arabian Knight or YSL L’homme Ultime. Doesn’t smell similar to sedley but I will mention it so you don’t think Wake up world is some natural classic style fragrance. The salty amber has some simillar it’s to the idea in Xerjoff 40 Knots, but this one adds the apple fougere. Like Lhomme ultime but more ambery and fougere. I hope I don’t misdirect you with the comparisons because none smell alike but perhaps it can help you to imagine the scent if you smelled some of these
