Bois & Pluie Bois & Pluie - Pascal Morabito 8.5 An unisex subtle fragrance with a Thierry Mugler DNA type This is a very nice Eau de Toilete, although I qualify it as quite subtle. It seems to have an EDC concentration, although it says EDT on the label. Even the bottle size - 200 ml in a Spongebob square shape - is more common in EDCs rather than in EDT's. I love the scent. It's a very pleasant Oriental fragrance. It's not intrusive. Its scent together with its subtlilness will get you some compliments for sure. It opens with a pleasant semi-sweet coffee note that will be present till the beginning of the drydown. In the heart notes we detect strong notes of rich lingering sandalwood, blended with balsamic elemi resin (amyris wood) that will last till the evolution final, and will persist during the drydown, although as a fainter accord, and outshined by the semi-earthy strong patchouli that will make itself dominant in the bottom phase. A couple of comments: - I consider the performance as under average: Less than 4~5 hours longevity with 3 sprays; One arm lenght sillage at the most; It projects for 1~1.5 hours. - Nice inexpensive price - 200ml bottle - €13.50 in Showroomprivé. The big 200 ml bottle is so inexpensive that you may spray the juice freely at your will. This way you will get an acceptable performance with this very alluring fragrance. The amount of compliments is far superior from what you may expect with such an inexpensive fragrance. - Damn fantastic notes: Top notes - roasted heavy scented coffee; Middle notes - sandalwood and elemi resin (amyris wood); Base notes - earthy patchouli. During the evolution of the top and middle notes, I also detect an herbaceous green and dry faint note similar to vetiver. - You need at least 6~8 sprays on skin to add 50% more performance: but if you want to take advantage of the fragrance subtleness just do the usual 2~3 sprays. You can always respray a couple of hours later. You should also spray twice on your clothes to help the performance to ramp up. - Even if this fragrance is advised for men, I really do think it is an unisex scent. The perfume DNA is similar to a mixture of three Thierry Mugler perfumes, but for a fraction of their individual cost. It really opens like A*Men Pure Coffee and halfway its evolution becomes similar to a combo of Angel and A*Men till the end of the drydown. - Although it suggest you vibes of the three above mentioned fragrances, in reality it is a very unique fragrance. I don't know any other fragrance with this magnificent blending of those Mugler juices and, at your own choice, decide for the subtle behaviour with fewer sprays or adding some stamina with more sprays. Nevertheless it never reaches neither the Thierry Mugler fragrances projection, sillage and longevity, nor the price per application. Do not consider Bois & Pluie as a Mugler clone either due to its different blending evolution or because it causes different reaction both in yourself and in the people around you. Overall this fragrance is just a bit sweet. It's not as gourmand as the mentioned Mugler perfumes. Thierry Mugler scents are all about screaming "I AM HERE!", while the Pascal Morabito cologne just whispers "would you mind?". My overall rating: 8.0/10.0 Note: If Pascal Morabito would double the performance to a true EDT or EDP concentration, I would rate it 9.0/10.0

A GREAT COLOGNE FOR A RAINY DAY [Short Review] This is a very pleasant scent, although I would describe it as quite subtle. It seems to have an EDC concentration. On the other hand, the bottle is a generous 200 ml and has a square shape worthy of Spongebob. I really like this seemingly simple perfume. It's a very pleasant, unobtrusive oriental scent. Its aroma, together with its subtlety, is sure to get you some compliments. It opens with a pleasant note of semi-sweet coffee that lingers until it begins to dry. In the heart, we discover strong notes of rich, persistent sandalwood mixed with balsamic elemi resin (actually notes of amyris wood). This chord lasts until the end of the evolution, and continues during the drying process. However, it is a less intense accord and is somewhat overshadowed by the strong note of a semi-earthy patchouli, which becomes dominant in the base. SOME RANDOM COMMENTS: - I consider the performance to be below average. I get less than 4~5 hours longevity with 3 sprays and an arm's length of sillage at most, projecting for 1~1.5 hours. - I found a great deal on an internet retailer for a 200ml bottle, at just 13.50 euros! This bottle is so affordable that you can spray it freely at will, without a second thought! This way, you get a lovely, lovely fragrance that works really well for you! I was really surprised by how much praise this perfume gets, especially for the price! I absolutely love the notes of heavy roasted coffee and Amyris wood! As it develops, I also notice a green, dry, herbaceous note, similar to vetiver. - You need at least 6~8 sprays on the skin. This will give you 50% more power. If you want to take advantage of the subtlety of the fragrance, just do the usual 2~3 sprays. You can always spray again a few hours later. You should also spray twice on your clothes if you want a boost in performance. - Although this fragrance is recommended for men, I really think it is a unisex scent. The DNA of the scent is similar to a blend of three Thierry Mugler scents, but at a fraction of the individual cost. It really opens like A*Men Pure Coffee and halfway through its evolution it becomes similar to a combo of Angel and A*Men until the end of the drydown. Although it suggests to me vibes of the three fragrances above, it is in fact a very unique fragrance. I don't know of any other fragrance that has such a wonderful blend of these Mugler scents. You can choose to be subtle with fewer sprays or to be more persistent with more sprays. It will never match the projection, sillage and longevity of the Thierry Mugler fragrances 🙁 , but you will get a much lower price per application 🙂 . MY OPINION: Do not think of Bois & Pluie as a Mugler clone, either because of the different evolution of the blend, or because it will provoke different reactions in you and those around you. Overall, this is a slightly sweet fragrance. It's not as gourmand as the aforementioned Mugler scents. Thierry Mugler's fragrances are all about shouting "I AM HERE!", while Pascal Morabito's cologne is all about whispering "Would you mind? If Pascal Morabito would double the power with a real EDT or EDP concentration, I would rate it as a fragrance not to be missed. MUSIC: "Rain And Tears" by Aphrodite's Child

I'm still new to the Pascal Morabito experience but this will be my second bottle now and I must say this is quite good...The only way I can describe this at the moment is that it's a woody aquatic With kind of a patchouli and coffee with the slight Trace of oud and incense lingering in the background as well....It's kind of a little bit of everything it has an aquatic light feel but at the same time a very spicy Gourmandish attitude....I found this huge bottle 6.7 Oz for only 10 bux and it is medium shelf quality really really surprised and happy......The scent is a 7.8 the silage longevity about a 7.0....A good day to all .....Ciao

I have Cuba prestige and the bottle is getting low. Came on here and saw that this is similar. I’ll say this, this juice is an amazing value! Sure it’s not an EDP by any means but I literally paid $8 for 6.7 Oz. It’s not as sweet as prestige but it’s along the same lines! I’ll save the rest of the prestige for date nights and use this as a work frag. I would have been ok paying up to $20 for this but scooped it up on clearance at Marshall’s.... if you see a bottle don’t hesitate. It’s great! Scent 8/10 Sillage 6/10 Projection 6/10 Longevity 7/10 Overall 8/10 don’t pass it up if you see it at the discount stores!

If you like *A men, Pure Coffe and Cuba prestige , you will enjoy this fragrance!! It's a soft and inoffensive version of the others that I mention!! this one don't have the 1000 notes that *A men have so don't expect the same gorgeous and creamy dry down, But the combination of the amyris and the sandal wood remains me in a softer way the Pure malt dry down! Longevity sucks but for $10 dollars and 6oz ho cares!! that's my only complaint because the quality of that juice it's amazing.

No issues with this considering the price tag! Not a big play of the ingredients. Perfect YSL M7 substitute in the dry down for almost free. Not that M7 was ever a big star, quasi just a mythos and I 've never was a big fan of it. At least this one is not so louder... more reminds me on the dry down of Varvatos Dark Rebel Rider (with the jacket). I have them both and this one even has the most clean wood. I have my version from Germany ... it is made in France and I can not catch the coffee enough (the patchouli is also very very weak), considering that I have all of the Mugler's A*men. Some kind of resin opens the sandalwood and this is everything. There are true stuff inside , when you feel after spraying on the skin. Basically you can wash yourself with this 200ml bottle and there is no point for negative comments at all. It is a pleasant and must be tested in hotter days , or just to leave the bottle to settle for a wild... the performance will be even better imo.

Natural cedar essential oil. Its dense sweetness appropriately diluted, and with woody freshness added. Not even a tiny hint of my favourite exuberant A*men; the side-by-side comparison I did was pointless. I'd assume there are different versions around - 2022 from Germany, made in France, as for mine. Wishing good luck to others to maybe get the A*man light sort of perfume that certainly wasn't sold in my bottle. Now.. After my initial disappointment, I must say what a darn beautiful fragrance this is. Woody-fresh-sweet. Natural, gentle. The low intensity and projection are polite to my nose and suit a more intimate, cozy scent. Nothing big or innovative. Either way, so pleasant.

EDC strength. Takes about 12-15 chest sprays to be able to smell myself after a 5 minute drydown. Sillage is very low, but longevity is moderate. Crowd pleasing warm creamy masculine scent with no rough edges. Reminds me of Valentino uomo without the synthetic notes or the loudness. Worth the Tj Maxx cheapie price. Wearable among non-fragheads.

I don’t like it when I spill coffee on my clothes. But I do like the smell of (good) coffee but only not in perfumes. In this fragrance the coffee note is done rather nicely. It has a bit spicy and very mild smokey patchouli part. It’s an eau de cologne concentration and that is definitely noticeable. The performance is really bad. After 3 hours at the most it is completely gone. But it’s a 200 ml bottle for an extremely low price. So I don’t complain but I will definitely not buy this almost unnecessary fragrance again.

To me, no presence and no coffee note detected. Smells like and constituted similar to Caron Le 3e but even weaker (and cheaper). Baby powder scent in the middle. It might be one of those smelling amazing on a sweaty summer day and, that's all.

Got this for cheap as did everyone else. It is basically a 50/50 blue and green scent with some wood. Weird scent, not for me.
