Bois & Vetiver

Somehow, I get a bit of Terre d'Hermes in the opening to mid & Guerlain Vetiver once the drydown begins, which is rather quick. Still, a classy aura yet holds facets of modern nuances. It's a light fragrance so going heavy on the atomizer is a no brainer. It won't blow you away with projection nor longevity but, it does linger as a personal scent bubble that is very close to the skin. Spraying on cloths does help slightly. For the amount that one gets (200ml.), it's a very good deal that will have you smelling clean and well put together without having to shell out more $$$ for the TDH's & Guerlain versions. Not the same quality as those two aforementioned fragrances but, close enough. From this maker Pascal Morabito I still prefer Grey Quartz (Dior Farenheit vibe) and Black Agent (Bvlgari Man in Black type) as they smell of better quality and actually perform quite well on me. Bois & Vetiver though still is a pretty good alternative for the money.

Bought this as a blind buy and was surprised. Kinda smells like an old school fougere scent that my dad or uncle's used to have. Nostalgic and simple. Longevity is horrible and lasts 1 hour on skin and maybe 1-3 hours on clothes. It sits quite close in terms of sillage. It's cheap so I just spray it on multiple times a day and if you want it to be loud, you gotta spray on at least 15+ times. This is my cheapie that I carry around in my bag in case I need a quick refresh or I genuinely forgot to use a fragrance before leaving home.

Great vetyver which reminds me of the vintage carven vetyver & of the Vintage version of the Guerlain Vetyver! Has animalic notes too but doesn't last long on my skin sadly! Well it's not bad for the price & it's a cologne after all! Nice budget wise fragrance❤️🇫🇷

the smell is very close to Terre d'hermes for men. it is very pleasant and I loved it. I agree the longivity and silage is not great but I can not complain with the price I paid for the 200ml bottle. My overall rating is 8 out of 10

Basically Terre D'Hermes on a budget. Lesser quality and weaker performance (it is an EDC). But for ~$15 for 200 ML, you really can't expect more. Better blind buy than TDH if you haven't tried TDH but are worried about shelling out the clams. I own TDH and consider it a modern masterpiece, but I'll spray on the Morabito when I am just lounging around the house, going to bed, or even as a room freshener. It's obviously trying to copy TDH, and it does it fairly well. Again, the quality is not quite there and the performance is severely lacking, but for the cheap price, you can spray away! I have also owned Franck Olivier Black Touch, and though it is a slightly higher quality clone of TDH, there is something in there that doesn't jive with me and I think the Pascal Morabito is actually closer to TDH than Black Touch, FWIW.

Here is an idea for those who are not too sure about the blend of Vetiver Insolent by Miller Harris but want to persevere. Try layering with Bois & Vetiver by Pascal Morabito topped off with Eau de Vétyver by L'Occitane en Provence. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the combination. I wore it today at my office and both sillage and longevity were excellent. I found VI best on chest and shoulders with BV on wrists and neck and EV as a enlivener sprayed three times over eight hours keeping everything fresh and stimulating. Enjoy!

this is a weird one for me i kinda like it and then don't like it haha.. at first smelling the scent at the cap is like the same smell you get from opening a fresh can of paint.. i don't know why i'm getting that smell but i am.. it's like brute but smells better than brute, less spicy in your face smell as for performance it's mediocre if this would just last longer and project better this would be beast, but i'm not gonna complain to much as 200ml was only €16 :) verdict Price: 9/10 Smell: 6.5/10 Longevity: 4/10 Silage: 4/10

One word: Green A very basic Green scent. The most prevalent notes are Cardamom and Vetiver. For the prices you can find 200ml bottles at, this is a pretty good scent. The longevity isn't really all that, but "you get what you pay" for I guess. Definitely would recommend for anyone who wants a basic starter green scent.

This is genuinely a lovely fragrance... it's a shame that it's disappeared completely after half an hour. I keep this in my work bag, just in case a need a little spritz on the way home!

Incredibly boring, six notes sounds about right. Longevity is non-existent, not even sure it lasts half an hour. 2/10

Terrific - grapefruit and earthy vetiver with a hint of soot at the top. Settles into a grapefruit/vetiver chewy sweet kind of scent, a touch of floral along the way. The earthiness stays for a while, but the soot fades (shame!) in 30 mins. Great for applying before bed.

Opening is straight alcohol followed by a somewhat encre noire-esque wood and vetivers. Horrid performance. Lasts like ten minutes. It's cheap but it borders on not being a fragrance at all.

Another old a$$ man fragrance that you need to be at least 70 years old to pull off. TERRIBLE. I wouldn't wear this if I was 100 years old.

This one for me is average at best. Yes it smells a lot like Frank Oliver's Black Touch but due to an added note in Pascal Morabito's Bois&Vetiver which I don't really dig but can't quite place, I prefer Frank Oliver's BT slightly more. Initial opening on Pascal Morabito may not immediately present a striking similarity with BT, but it's only a matter of minutes as it immediately settles into an almost exact replica of BT Frank Oliver. So is it a bad buy? Maybe not, but it's not a great buy either unless you want to argue the generous volume of juice you get for the bizzarely cheap price. I've had the bottle now for about 2/3 years yet there's still about 95% left lol Its similarity with Frank Oliver BT makes me want to sell it though :)

Astounding value for money. I'm surprised how easy to wear it is. I'm not very keen on vetiver fragrances even though I've got a couple of fragrances with vetiver chord as the main note. This is a lighter and more soapy version of Guerlain Vetiver Edt. But it's no where as good as Narciso Rodriguez's Vetiver Musc. But I paid £9.99 for 200ml. Which is crazy.. I blindly bought it thinking if it's not good I'd make it a bathroom refresher... But No... This is actually nice. It could've been sold under any premium designer brand name and cost a lot more. I'm impressed. Good job.

Good enough for air freshener .lasts about 15 minutes.Although the fragrance doesn't smell cheap. Thought I was getting a bargain but what can you expect for the ridiculous price and a 200ml bottle!
