Perle de Nuit

Really impress how close it smells to Coco Noir on the dry down i recommend as its budget Friendly.

I have to agree w/ the Coco Noir comparisons. To my nose it takes it a bit to get there. My first thought was 80's hairspray, then in came the sort of bitey Rendition of Coco Noir. It sort of smells like 75% Coco Noir & 25% Regular Coco. Can't beat the price tho. I am doing my t-shirt test tonight. I sprayed a t-shirt, left it in the bathroom, & I will see what I smell on clothing about 11 hours later. If I remember, I will come back & add to this. Worth the price for sure. Is it Coco Noir? No. But it doesn't cost as much either!

Very pretty scent, I definitely get the comparison to Coco Noir. Opens with a powdery rose and spicy geranium, complimented by a surprisingly creamy tonka. The vanilla and amber eventually emerge at the bottom, soft and surprisingly delicate. Perfect for autumn & winter, good longevity (around 5-6 hrs) with a good sillage. Definitely recommend.

Perle de Nuit is a cosy, soft scent almost skinclose, but there for many hours. I get allergic reaction from Patchouli, so this one is not for me. A bargin, so try it, very nice.

I usually stay away from rose perfumes, afraid of fragrances like Tea Rose. Not that they are bad, they just aren't for me. However, I started blind-buying Pascal Morabito perfumes and was impressed with what I got (Purple Ruby, Pure Perle, Only Love, Lovissima). Perle de Nuit is very pretty. On me, I get a strong rose from the beginning but it mixes so well with the tonka and geranium, rounding it out to an overall creamy sweetness. There is some spice, probably from the geranium but it isn't so spicy as to make it unwearable. I get the amber in the bottom and some patchouli yet not overdone or choking out the other notes. There is barely any vanilla on my skin. I really like this so far. I'll update as to longevity and sillage later. Update: Sillage is moderate and longevity is good, I've had it on for about 6 hours and still smell it. Much to my surprise, the vanilla did show up to the party and this has turned into a delightful rose with a base of vanilla/hint of patchouli. I'm very happy with it. Because the opening has some sturdiness, I'd wear it in fall or winter.

I bought this but do not like & I don't know why. Looking at the notes there is no spice. But something gives this a slightly sharp or spice trail. This is an inexpensive scent & to my nose does smell inexpensive, just not formulated well.

Coco Noir is quite expensive and this fragrance can be good alternative or addition. Not as potent as Coco Noir, but a nice alternative!
