Perle Verte

Miss Cachen.... extraordinary! This perfume is a secret gem for me. It's very good blend. This is my free day perfume. I like it a lot, it's next to my trussardi Donna. Practically is the Sisley Soir de lune for career woman, the greener and colder version of Sisley, at some point I feel a little honey but a coniferous one, like the bee made the honey in the middle of the mountains, like a mint tea in which you put a small teaspoon of honey. Isn't a completely green perfume like Green tea or D&G Blue light not even close is more a mountain green with something hot inside that perfume that you don't know if you can use in winter or summer because it is green and fresh but it also has something aromatic that seems to require snow...very interesting I love it. Now for men well.....when my beloved thought it was a new perfume for him because I had left it on his table and spray it on himself....hmm let say just it was on Saturday morning he had to go and buy something for his hobby .... but I practically didn't let him out of the house .... you understand what you want..... if I think about it, he confused it quite often later hmm🤔 Now seriously depends on tastes this perfume suits elegant people by simplicity with a strong vibe, it is not for the imaginary rich, wannabe magnates look, for snobs, for "goldpersons" or for those who want to stand out even through vulgarity. It's aristocratic, simple, studied and vibrant.

This is quite lovely. I didn't have high hopes for performance, although I was so pleased with the composition. WOW - hours later and it was still going strong. I could smell it as I moved about for most of yesterday. My advice is not to assume this is weak and overspray. It would be so easy to overdo this one. Definitely less is more, as the tuberose and ylang could be overpoweringly sharp. I'm so please with both longevity and sillage with this one. Definitely high value here! This could certainly be a contender for a Spring, or lightly sprayed Summer choice. I find it a bit too freshly green and floral for Winter for me, but some will say it's Winter appropriate, likely because of the strength. I find this bottle a stunning presentation for this fragrance. Just beautiful. Well worth the price, and absolutely quality performance. Well-done!

Score! there was a spring sale online and I got five Morabito perfumes for 50 bucks total. Yes about 9,00 each. I was after the Pearl verte.... And got that and then bought all the other pearls too! They were selling for less than a bottle of cheap wine so who am I to argue? . I love green chypre so this fresh independant juice was squeezed specially for me. Love the herbal note which persists, seems like Sage . This is a winner! I would wear it all year round.. But it will shine in summer because Its not going to turn sweet on you. Some subtle white florals, lily and a hint of spice. Cloves.... Calls to mind Christmas... I think its unisex. Winter summer spring or fall.. yes please.

As the saying goes, it was fun while it lasted. I no longer own Perla Verte, but I have fond memories of it. For me, I think it's the incorporation of white florals without being cloying or overtly musky leaning. Although very enjoyable, I would consider this style of fragrance to be mature learning. The scent has great performance and will last most of the day. The opening of this fragrance is pleasant, sharp, and balanced. The heart of the fragrance is floral and slightly aldehydic. The base is creamy, powdery, yet verdant.

This is so interesting. At First half an hour it is very warm, creamy and plushy, well blended tickling vintage scent of musk white flowers and something cosmic 😁After it settles down there come out spices and woods notes out and it its more swirling than creamy. To me its rather feminine potion, it could be diva or mature celebrity scent. I can tell men also like it, with their skin chemistry it could be very interesting scent. It reminds me a bit Elizabeth Taylor. Great quality for such a tiny price.

I have had this fragrance since January 2021 because I love it so much! I had a few drops of Chanel No 19 left and was thinking of replacing it. After I bought this my plans flew out the window. I personally feel its a great replacement for Chanel no 19. Even thought other reviews say the longevity isnt great its the longest lasting for me amongst all the other Pascal Morabito fragrances. If you love chypre and green this is definately for you. Enjoy!

If you re looking for a perfect dupe of TENDRE POISON ..search no more ! If CABOTINE is green and floral , this one is even greener and Indolic..labdanum, Tuberose , Orange flower . An sunny and intoxicating fragrance . If you re a woman wear it ..if you re a man wear it too it will make your day .

This is gorgeous. Evokes a flower filled Spring meadow just after a rain shower. The floral and green notes sing and are divine. So refreshing and enticing. The packaging and bottle are elegant (not gaudy and brash). Excellent value for money.

mldaleali28 tobacco? No, personally I don't feel it but this possible to be there, C.C has some good works with tobacco in the niche fragrances. It is possible, however, that the blending between cloves and lily to give that feeling.

Got this at Fragrance.net for a very decent price. I'm glad I did because I like it a lot. I also find it reminiscent of Tendre Poison, though the notes are different. Got lots of compliments today. I just wish it lasted longer.

Received this today. This is a green-floral scent. The opening is citrus/lily...casis.. musk....then the middle....greens...patchouli/cardamom...with the florals sticking around. In this portion of the scent's development, on my skin, I get a lily/laundry soap vibe..(???). At first this bothered me, but it smoothed out in the dry down. Performance is medium on me. I guess I can agree that it has "vibes" of Tender Poison/Cabotine....but not as "strong"....lighter for sure. This is a "like' so far, but not remarkable. For the low price....not bad at all.

Am I the only one who smells a very faint tobacco note in dry down?

To begin with, I really liked this scent an found it unusual compared to today’s popular perfumes. I definitely get a green spicey vibe, which was very novel and intriguing for me. To my mind, Perle Verte is the sort of scent that made to be worn on a rainy day, reminding you of soft lush meadows. It’s a reasonably strong fragrance with a decent projection and like many of the other reviewers, I find the tuberose prominent here. (Sadly, it does turn a bit soapy after a while which is not my favourite.) However, the clover-like, peppery / spearmint note, (the cloves I think) is what really lifts this fragrance and makes it something different. I didn’t have much to compare it to, but I’ve been expanding my collection of fragrances with ‘green spicy’ accords and have found Oscar de la Renta Live in Love, and both Calvin Klein Truth and Secret Obsession, to be more sophisticated scents of this ilk. I haven’t worn Perle Verte since the spring and coming back to it in summer I’ve found myself falling out of love. The sharp herbal clove/peppery smell that I believed elevates Perle Verte (and I which I initially missed from CK Secret Obsession thinking it bland by comparison) was now something of an irritant. It sticks out like a sore thumb, too loud and unblended with the rest of the scent. It's strange but when I go off a scent, I really go off it and I have realised that while I like the idea of this Green Perle very much, this is another one that’s just not for me.

Love it. ♥️ Long lasting and projection is above average. It's a sharp, fresh chypre style perfume. I like it very much. Pascal Morabito perfumes are cheapies of a good quality. Not too chemical and metallic smelling like so many cheap fragrances.

I agree,it is very much reminiscent of Tendre Poison, a bit different than Cabotine also. There`s more white flowers here and overall a fresher and sweeter green impression than Cabotine, which is sometimes a bit old fashioned. I can see it worn by both sexes, but it is still more a feminine scent in my book. I get a bit of ylang-ylang, but no musk, the cloves and sandalwood very much present, still it is more on the white flowers side than anything. If you like Tendre Poison, you really should try this one.

I was tricked by the notes, comparisons and likes. So disappointed that it reminds me of a soap I've once used - either Lux or Camay or something like that. Cannot imagine why anyone would compare this to Chanel 19 or Poudre - it really doesn't cut the mustard. However - the bottle is truly beautiful, so it will become a bathroom centrepiece. Guests will be welcome to try it on a whim if they dare.

So I bought this at Marshall's for 12.99 and it reminds me of more lighter and brighter version of dolce and Gabbana grey. More floral flowery version I guess. It smells more towards the feminine side but who really cares in 2019. Also let me just say it is extremely long lasting and strong for such a bright and light scent. It's worth the 12.99 and much more.

Ce păcăleală. M-am luat după note și mai ales după ceva păreri. Foarte ieftin ca preț, foarte ieftin ca și miros. E un parfum ce miroase a săpun verde. Nu a săpun de calitate, de lux, fin. Nu. Miroase astringent verde ca un săpun ieftin. Vei mirosi ca și o persoană ce tocmai sa spălat bine pe mâini cu săpun. Atât.

Very nice warm green scent. Although I don't mind wearing woman's fragrances, this is, surely for a unisex, quite a bit feminine. But very nice and warm nevertheless, and a quality scent for a fraction of designer prices. Nice bottle also, btw. Try it if you can, you will be surprised.
