Luminous Sage

Gorgeous, soft blend of Ginger, jasmine and rose and sandalwood. Soft but noticeable. I don’t get much patchouli at all. Can work for both sexes. I think it would be great for cooler weather.

Another one found within the Patek Maison Luminous sampler pack. Sage is a great fragrance- it’s a spin on the infamous BR540. It’s a bit darker and sharply sweeter at first. It’s very pleasant however. I feel like the tangerine, though hard to detect like the rose, with that saffron note is very pleasing. Silage and performance are good. One half spray on my arm lasted about 2-3 hrs with good projection. Faded close to the skin there after. The dry down remains sweet but the musk, oak, and the vanilla are easily detected. The vanilla lends it a softness and creaminess. It’s a good unisex fragrance. At the price this is sold at I cannot recommend it. Especially since it’s similar to BR540. I don’t think it’s a dupe or trying to be a dupe as I feel it’s different enough from it but it’s definitely inspired by it and most people will probably come to that conclusion soon thereafter or until someone mentions it. I feel like its opening was different enough to send my scent memory elsewhere before eventually landing on the similarities between it and BR540. Al Haramain’s Amber Oud Ruby Edition is a much better buy with better performance and to me, a much better scent all together. Both of these are inspired by Baccarat Rouge 540.

Soft ginger and floral scent. It has a sweet quality, not sure if it is given by candied ginger or some fruity note. The Jasmin and rose are very noticeable. The patchouli is well behaved and "fresh" I don't think that there is sage in this scent. Not even mentioned in the notes. I think it is an ok scent but nothing to rave about. A sample is enough for me.
