Mandarina Imperial

I dare the person who rated this fragrance before me. He/she is a liar! This fragrance lasts beyond 12 hours. By the time I take a shower, about 12h hours after application, it is still present and not even very close to skin, like many fragrances for me after 1-2 hours. On various occasions before I have expressed serious doubts about the people who rate new released fragrances. Some people claim these are experts who visit shows/expositions where fragrances are presented for the first time. I have my serous doubts, because those experts usually write articles about new releases. Don't believe they just rate fragrances anonymously. Like for example the negative reviews on the latest Cristiano Ronaldo Fearless, just the day after CR7 revealed the name on Insta and by mail to clients like me. The fragrance wasn't even for sale on Ronaldo's website. It would take another week for that. On Patio Perfumes: Came across this house while visiting Granada. Had dinner on the terras of El Huerte de Juan Ranas, a restaurant on the top of a hill, with the best view of the Alhambra, with snow covered tops of the Sierra Nevada on the background. It took us half an hour to get there from our hotel on the other side of the Alhambra. It was a steep climb but it was worth the afford. The physical afford that is. Not so much the slightly overpriced food but the view was just stunning. On hour way back, we took almost the same steep path over small streets but just before reaching the flat carrera del Darro we took a different street and came across this beautiful 16th Century Patio Palace. With a Fragrance Museum, distillery, patio and shop. Their website is amazing. Unfortunately we entered the store at 21.30h and it closed at 22.00h. They have their own perfumes, colognes, attars, cosmetics, soaps, candles. Just a shame we didn't have enough time. The next day heading to Ronda and booked hotel in Sevilla, we had no time for a 2e, longer visit. I bought Agua Maya which I only tried once, since it is not for warmer weather. I got a sample of Mandarina Imperial, which I bought soon after I got home in the Netherlands. This one I just love. Strong and dense mandarin dominant scent that lasts all day. It is Unisex but probably leaning more female. Both my wife and daughter like it too. I also have 4 more samples. All original products. Azahar, Divino, Habana & Granata. I have promoted this house here on the Forum and on FB several times and now it is finally here. Again, their website is amazing and so are their products. Hope to visit them once again but Granada is neither around the corner for me, nor on the way to my most common vacation destination in Portugal.

I found this house back in June but am not able to nominate this fragrance for the best (Summer) fragrance of the year 2023. That is odd because it was released this year.

Why can't I award this fragrance to one of the best of 2023?
