Paul Smith Rose Summer Edition 2011

Finally I was able to test it :) I tested it yesterday and the scent is still there and very strong, just like the original. It is a nice scent that seems to be very close to the original. It might be slightly greener and has a slightly sweeter endnote. So I wouldn't buy it, because I see not much difference to the original which I have.

Ugh. What is the point of this? One minute of vaguely rose-themed florals quickly devolves into a repulsive Ready-to-Drink fruit cocktail. This truly smells like a bad night out, aged 18. Thankfully, it lasted only two hours from start to finish on my wrist, so I didn't have to bear the mediocrity for long. Again: what is the POINT of fragrances like this? Why wouldn't you just try harder to make something - at the very least - pretty? Sure, it's a seasonal flanker so not intended to be world-class - but why cheapen your name, Paul Smith house, with something so unpleasantly banal?

This doesn't smell all that summer to me...and no offense but it kind of smells like victoria's secret delicate petals...it is less boring than the original one but it is also not as fresh as the original one...

I love this 2011 Summer Edition of PS Rose. I love the original rose. 2011 Summer Edition is one of my favorites! Sweet berries & apricot, with a hint of citrus with Rose. Sweet but fresh - I sometimes wear it together with PS Rose (original). 2011 is a much better PS summer edition than the 2012 - this one is too musky and powderly, more of an 'old' rose smell. I definitely prefer the 2011 edition.

I have this but it's too light for me. One hour later this gone. nevertheless, a nice scent, more like a mist that edt. I also find the original Paul Smith rose to be very light too.

Nice, wearable everyday scent. Only problem I have is that it goes away after 2 hours, then you'll need to reapply.
