Paul Smith Sunshine Edition for Women 2010

This was my Duty Free purchase for this years summer holiday. Nice perfume - has that minty/tea edge that I always associate with all Paul Smith perfumes. It's more floral than fruity on my nose so don't be put off if you don't like fruit. I think it's because the Jasmine and Rose are so dominant to be honest so you really have to like these notes - the fruit passes by in a flash, the peach being more like peach iced tea to me :) It has something that reminds me of J del Pozo Halloween (the first one) but that may be because that was a holiday purchase too... The dominant base would be the musk which is to be expected really. Can't tell what colour the juice is as the flacon has a yellow overwash... Overall a nice summery scent - nothing too controversial but this isn't really what Paul Smith is known for!

Sunshine Edition 2010 has a very bright citrusy opening of grapefruit and bergamot. As it mellows the peony and rose come out. This is a very fresh, slightly musky floral. It smells very clean and bright. It's cheerful, excellent for spring. The citrus is well executed and not too sharp. The sandalwood balances it very nicely.

Bought this accidentally. You know how that goes, you want to replenish one of your favourites and you end up trying all kinds of perfumes while you are there and in the end you leave with something completely different! I do like this one. I find it light, citrusy, easy to wear and not intrusive. Zero sillage. Unfortunately much as I like this it disappears in a few minutes so I won't be buying again.

I also bought Sunshine dutyfree at the airport. I like it because it's autumn here and we were going to sunny Fuerteventura, so it fitted the mood perfectly. It's a light sunny scent, it wears off too quickly though. As said by Buttonbear, not a very controversial fragrance, but great to get you in the mood for summertime!
