What f’in magical witchcraft is this?! Holy crap this is weird but nostalgic, and so good! I don’t think I would have tested it if I hadn’t gotten it included in my sample pack — I mean, cola notes and metallic notes sound like something that would clash and scream on my skin, yet I LOVE it! Haha! First thought when spraying, I got more lime and thought it smelled like a freshly mopped and waxed roller rink 25+ years ago. Then it became sweeter and somehow developed into this smell that reminds me of being a sticky child who spilled my soda all over myself but never bothered to wash it off, then went out to play in the park. Carefree, fun, summertime. Life back when I could eat a Happy Meal without thinking of my doctors warnings about my cholesterol. This scent somehow smells exactly like I remember smelling and how I remember my friends, cousins, and little brother smelling between the ages of 7-10, before junior high bullying forced us to wear the same noxious cheap body sprays that all the other kids wore lest we get teased for being different. Who knew the sweet sweaty clean gourmand scent of my youth was cola... I’ve tried a few scents before that came off like root beer (l’interdit rouge) but none smell like this. I honestly don’t think I would have known this was a cola scent. It makes sense when you smell it but I’m not sure others would make the association if they blind tested. It comes off as sweet, fun, and playful. I also think it smells a little bit like a lip smackers flavor I had in the 90s, but less synthetic (the Dr Pepper flavor, anyone?) Super unique, I highly recommend! Added to my wishlist! I must own this!

So gorgeous and yummy!!! My partner who is not into fragrance at all also loves when I wear it. I think it reminds us both of when we first started dating when we were choatic angsty punk teenagers 9 years ago. I used to put on this root beer lip balm before our dates hoping he would make out with me and notice it (they loved it of course). We would take the train all over the city and go to arcades and to the local soda shop and test out different root beers and craft colas. It's such a nostalgic and comforting yet sensual exciting and sexy scent to me. It reminds me of the adrenaline and desire of a new love interest that you know is the perfect person for you. It's got a strong lime cola base that makes you want to drink it so bad. It's def got a metallic element to it like when you go to the arcade and twist the little knobs and joysticks til your hands smell like dirty sweaty metal. It dries down to an alluring warm spicy woodsy cedar. And the patchouli adds that natural earthy seductiveness to it at the tail end. I'm not one for spicy scents but because of Multiball I've converted. It made me confident in blind buying Pearfat and Odette's collab Les Chaussons Rouge which I do not regret at all!!! If you like spicy fruity gormands I definitely recommend this one.

I actually did not intentionally order this—this was a complimentary sample given by Fumerie Parfumerie with a FB purchase. Opens with a slightly fizzy cola facet, in which you can also make out some sticky cola residue as well, and then soon after you can make out the woodsy, tarty, metallic sensation (in that order of intensity) that you’d expect from a tabletop arcade machine that’s been used for many years. You have been here before. As you have probably already surmised, this is less of a conventional perfume but rather an experience. The fizz has worn out already, and the cola is evolved more into a cola residue that might have been stuck to the arcade machine. Maybe it’s lime that you added to Sprite for extra flavor. Maybe you’re peering into the motherboard of the arcade machine instead. An extremely accurate, nostalgic render of tabletop gaming at a somewhat unkempt arcade with friends. I can definitely see myself keeping a sizable decant for the experience, but a FB might be hard to justify. Regardless, it’s FBW for someone particularly intrigued with this experience.

Wow wow wow! I blind bought several baby pears from Pearfat recently, but the description of this one intrigued me enough to blind buy the full bottle instead - and that was an excellent decision by past me, because this is incredible! The top notes upon first spray are a very fresh lime candy. It's not overly synthetic or sugary - it's like if they made a lime flavored lollipop out of REAL limes. It's smooth, and in the background, it's held up by hints of that distinct dark cola smoothness that you find in Dr. Pepper. Then out comes a waxy, clean wood, which blends seamlessly with the lime for a really fresh mix, almost like the filling of a key lime pie. It's a very gentle gourmand with a lot of zing and vibrancy - amazing! The drydown becomes sweeter without being saccharine, and the bubbly mineralic cola heart note warms up and starts to shine through super cleanly. Gorgeous perfume!

Fun and nostalgic scent. I've tried a lot of coca cola fragrances and this is one of my favorites. They really caught the retro vibe of the machine as well as the soda beautifully. I can smell the waxed wood along with the coke and it's awesome. I've let my friends try this one and everyone is fascinated by it. This and Ganymede probably emit the same look of wonder and astonishment when people smell it. Not saying it's anything like Ganymede, it's just such a unique piece, unlike anything else in my collection of niche fragrances. Really fun to wear, and surprisingly has a bit of depth..Wearable artwork, and it's very strong and long lasting as well. My only knock is the amber fixative that is so strong and persistent, it wears me out, so ultimately I sold it.

This one is so fun! It opens with a slightly herbal and powdery patchouli smell and a bright and juicy lime. The Coca Cola starts to come in and it’s pretty sweet but feels balanced out with a good amount of spices. This doesn’t feel like a freshly poured cup or a cold can, but more like a flat cup of coke, bc it’s got that syrupy sweetness to it and a lot of warmth. I could even compare it to Coca Cola gummy candies. As the scent develops you get those metallic notes and it’s so hard to describe but it really does smell like a pinball machine, like a metallic machine with soda spilled all over it. The dry down smells a lot more woody and the sweetness is toned down with a bit of earthiness added in. This is such an interesting scent but it works so well.

This smells like I'm 10 years old in my childhood home in Kansas. I'm sitting in the living room, eating a frozen dinner that I just heated up in the microwave on a tv tray. I'm drinking a Coke with lime syrup in it (this part is made up bc I wasn't allowed to drink pop). I'm watching something, probably That's So Raven, on our old, boxy television. And I still remember the feeling of getting my face really, really close to the tv. So close that I could see the individual pixels and feel the heat and something buzzing from it. There's something sweet and metallic and warm and buzzy about this fragrance. I'm obsessed with it.

The notes breakdown is spot on. Multiball doesn’t elaborate on the coke smell, it just smells like coke without diving into all the component notes. The first thirty minutes it smells like fresh, sparkling coke, but somehow they capture the “going flat” scent perfectly. Once the coke smell goes you get the “warm electronics”. I was worried this accord would be to abstract or latexy, but no, it smells like old circuitry thats been running too long. This fragrance is not to sweet or to strange, its just right to be the perfect smell of nostalgia. Longevity is good and projection is ok (an arms length of a scent bubble).

The opening hit of cola and lime was really interesting. Not exactly photo-real, more like a cola gummy candy with sugary lime syrup drizzled on it. Then, I swear to god, this smells like the gumballs you'd get from that huge gumball machine at Blockbusters. Brings back such fun memories of cheap pizza movie nights. Eying the gory horror movie cases when I was supposed to be finding an appropriate kids show. Goosebumps on VHS, the florescent lighting and dirty carpet. The air strange and static. It dries off so dusty and warm. It's not dissimilar to Clue's Warm Bulb with that hot dust note. I'm a fan.

Smells mostly of Coca-Cola to me all throughout the day. It is interesting to smell something that smells literally sticky. It's quite cheeky in that way! You get a sort of vanilla from the Coca-Cola without there being an explicit vanilla scent that carries the sweetness. I don't really get lime, and I get the slightest hint of the metallic notes. The cedar and patchouli mix so well with the Coca-Cola that it's almost hard to tell that is what you are smelling. Could be worn year round at any time of day, makes it very versatile. I enjoyed it!

Extremely visceral to me. Reminds me of this arcade from my childhood so vividly. It really captures the dusty aura of an arcade. I can almost feel the colorful bright lights shining from all directions from the games. You can definitely feel the fizzy smell of freshly poured coke into those hard red plastic cups with the coca cola logo on it. I didn't expect to remember the smell of this place. Multiball fills me with such a lethal amount of nostalgia.

Whoa! This has a visceral metallic note at the beginning that almost reminds me of Warm Bulb by Clue! So atmospheric! As far as soda scents go, there are better ones (my fav is Born to Be Unforgettable by Kilian), but as a symposium for the nose, this gets it exactly right. You are at the arcade, your quarter is up next, but the other kid is hogging the pinball machine. And oh! He just got multiball. Of course. Incredibly well done!

This is a really great zingy diet Coke with lime scent. I think the metallic notes are what makes it pull more diet than full fat Coke. The background is steel and plastic that's been warmed by incandescent bulbs. I wish that aspect were a bit stronger because it's very cola heavy, but I still love it. I'd like to get Warm Bulb and pair them for a perfectly nostalgic scent

writing a second review nearly a year later to say.......multiball has become my favorite fragrance of all time. i wear this perfume like a talisman: something to brighten my day when i'm feeling off, something familar to bring me back down to earth, a treat, a sweet indulgence, just for me. it makes me feel more like me. i'll never be without it

It’s smells like a first date and you’ve been invited to go bowling. ORRR going home for the holidays! Seeing people you haven’t seen in a while. A mix of cologne and arcade games. The cedar is heavy, but the lingering metallic and coke note are my favorite. I love this perfume. It’s quiteeee romantic to me. I’ve gone through like two bottles.

Clean, mineralic, earthy, bubbly coke. I was on a hunt for a cola fragrance, and tried many, but this is the only one that scratched the itch without being cloying. A very well balanced fragrance, not too sweet, not too synthetic, not too dirty, it all works very well together. One of my favorites from Pearfat.

Lukewarm Diet Coke, polished floors, and the static electricity of a bowling alley ball return. This scent captures the essence of Christmas break at the lanes perfectly. It's unique, beautiful, and signature-scent worthy. If you love cola scents, this is a must-try

This scent is so intoxicating! <3 It's nostalgic, sweet, and playful. I still have more perfumes from pearfat's discovery set to wear test but tbh... this one miiight just be my favorite. Try this out if you want to try a wearable and yummy metallic perfume!

definitely get the smell of old roller rink from this, the very base notes on me smells mostly.... like cedar? and it brings me back to the smell of this strange, mysterious cabinet that my big brother had in his bedroom when i was a really young child

OMG I’m obsessed with this. The metallic note and flat sticky syrupy cola. I can’t get this scent out of my head. Reminds me of being at the roller rink in the early 2000’s flirting with some boy in the arcade section. Need a full bottle soon

obsessed with this!! this is my boyfriend’s favorite of pearfat and it smells wonderful on him. it’s warm and inviting with a slight edge. It’s not overtly sweet from the cola; it’s perfect.

The coolest girl at the dive bar. A jack and coke before the opening band’s set. Hands on a sticky waxed wood bar, dollars outstretched. A pinball machine in the distance.

Exactly as its described, crazy. This gave me the vibes of my towns old blockbuster with a fresh waxed entrance plus some cola notes. Soooo incredibly unique.

my friends found it a bit cloying but I LOVE the effervescence of this scent; smells like a cuba libre and makes me wanna hit the town for a fun night out :)

Smells like a fountain coke you occasionally remember to take sips of between games at the arcade. Fun! 👾 🕹️ A review below mentioned a roller skating rink they went to as a kid and their mom also did as a kid that has now shut down, crazy because I was thinking of the same exact thing! I get bubbly cola, a little zesty lime and patchouli (worn by the teenagers who hang out there?) Brings me back to the “third places of childhood” - the mall, arcade, skating rink, bowling alley. It’s nostalgic but not wistful, more like a reminder to let your inner child out more often! Evokes images in my head of funky arcade carpet, getting glow in the dark toys at the ticket counter, nightcore remixes of pop songs on DDR/rhythm games, pausing skating so they can wax the floors. I get some vanilla and spices too (I was like hmm are these notes listed? then realized that’s what’s in a coke lol) It dries down more woody, the fizzy effect “goes flat” and you get a sweet cedar/vanilla/light patchouli scent with a bit of lime simple syrup. Pearfat is such a neat house and I can’t wait to try more from them! 🍐 🪩 If you’re interested in the notes/concept I would say 100% try this one out!

The picture of a bygone world. Third spaces in the most remote of places, before Walmarts and McDonald’s choked out the mom-and-pop spots of the mid-20th century. I tear up when I wear this fragrance, not because it’s particularly delicate or poetic in the traditional sense, but because its chemical-clean, sticky-sweet, cool metal harmony is an immediate return to the skating rink I spent so many hours of my youth in. That skating rink is also the one my mom used to go to when she was a kid in the very same town. And right after I graduated and moved to the big city, it shut down. The America that exists in valleys where time moves slower and people are closer is captured in the essence of Pearfat fragrances. While I don’t find myself wanting to *wear* them, when I *smell* them, it’s transportive. This perfumer has a knack for space, time, and place that transcends individual notes and lays bare the feelings about my formative years that I keep hidden under cover. If you too are sensitive, nostalgic, and cut from the same proverbial cloth, this is a must-smell fragrance. If you “get” Alex G, you’ll “get” Pearfat. Does that make sense?

You wake up to a buzzing sound and bright lights, and find your arms and legs strapped down to a bed. You've been abducted by aliens. The aliens want to understand human attitudes towards them and have chosen you as a test subject. The electrodes on your head sift through your memories and find one to hone in on: your teenage memories of playing Space Invaders at the arcade. To access your memories, the contraption they've placed you in recreates the scent that reactivates your sensory impression. One sniff of that fizzy, cold off-brand cola scent and you're back on that dark neon carpet of your town's arcade. Still, there's something uncanny about the scent, like smelling something in a dream. Perhaps it's the smell of the silvery metal interior of the UFO, the machines around you overheating slightly.

This was a fun one to test! Warm, spicy, distinctly cola, either lime coke, or coke when you just had a handful of lime or orange candies a minute ago. The citrus kinda flipped between lime and orange for me, regardless of any metaphors, which was interesting , and that note (those notes?) lasted longer than I'm used to, too. Lasted about 6hrs after a shower, and when my partner got home there was still some around, and they thought it smelled more herbal than what I was picking up, and guessed 'pine trees?' before coke. I like it, as a scent to experience, but I'm glad I just sampled, because I can't see myself wearing it out much, just at home for the fun of it.

Okay... as art, I love Multiball. I totally smell the arcade that inspired it. I can close my eyes and feel like I'm at a dive barcade. The soda is the most prominent note but the metallic notes, electricity, and woodiness still come through and it dries down into a spicy, woody, ambery scent on skin. I think the spiciness I'm picking up on is just the cola, but even as it dries down it maintains that arcade smell. Do I think I would reach for this and want to smell like it? Probably not super often - not offensive, but not for me. So glad that I got the sample because it really is a cool olfactory experience, but not something I can justify a full bottle of.

ok i see how some of you hate this, but it told you what it was ahead of time. it is EXACTLY as described. it is roller rink. it is lonely ddr at hometown arcade. it rocks. there's a funky "old electronics" note, and waxy woody vanilla, and sticky flat cola. whatever your gut reaction is to those things... that's how you're going to feel about this one. if you like warm bulb, you'll like this. warm bulb feels like a heat lamp for your pet lizard (positive); multiball is an overheating skeeball machine (positive). i blind bought the mini pear with full trust and was rewarded.

When you first spray it its very spicy, I get something almost similar to clove or cinnamon, but when it dries down you definitely get that cola note. I was really searching for the lime but I couldn't smell it on myself. Definitely not a fizzy cola in my opinion, but rather like a cola flavored syrup that youd put in a slushie. Smells like if you spilled cola on your grandma's car seats and it dried and left a sticky spot. Very pleasant, nostalgic, and long lasting! Sprayed it on my wrists before bed and could faintly smell it when I woke up.

I know it's supposed to evoke an arcade vibe but the cedar and patchouli notes remind me of camping when I was a kid, the morning after when it's all dewy. especially in the dry down when its less sweet. the opening is definitely more of that arcade vibe with the sweet lime cola atmosphere and that does linger in the dry down, just a little more subtle and adds a sweet freshness. the whole experience is quite nostalgic. doesn't quite smell green but feels green. I like how the woodiness isn't overbearing.

Something about this fragrance is absolutely nuclear to me- the tiniest drop sticks to everything and it's the only thing I can smell. It reminds me so much of those gummy cola bottle candies. I thankfully don't get anything metallic or sharp, just sticky-sweet cola and then a LOVELY earthy cedar-patchouli note when I press my nose against my skin. Ugh I love that part so much-- I wish I could have a linear fragrance of just that accord.

I got this in the discovery kit and I'm really glad I did because this is not the type of fragrance I would usually go for, but it's so weird and I'm obsessed. It smells like childhood and sneaking somewhere you're not supposed to be, like your grandpa's dusty old tool shed. The white hot flash of pain of being shot with a BB gun and herbal soda. Goes well with Jane Says - Jane's Addiction

So interesting. I definitely get more of a spilled/flat cola instead of fizzy. The hot metal really jumps out on me, which is cool. What I don't love are the waxed floor/cedar notes. They're the most persistent and kind of wear me out after a while. I think this scent 100% achieves the vision behind it, but it's not my fave to wear. Happy to have sampled it!

sweet and warm, strong warm spicy but fades softer and sweeter. i definitely get the coke cedar patchouli.. the tiniest bit of metal. after wearing it for a while i get a bit sick. im not normally one for warm spicy so thats probably why

The notes for this one are spot on. The smell is pleasant and comforting. Not overpowering or too weak. This smelled good on me but smelled even better on my husband. Would consider purchasing a full bottle.

I will hand it to the perfumer that this is evocative, it's just that it is the type of evocative scent that I'd want to wear, and to be frank, not one for which I have a fondness. It is oddly dusty, yet damp, sticky and a bit stale. For a cola scent, there is absolutely no effervescence. Strangely enough, there is a back note that reminds me of when I used to play with my toys on the carpet of my old home's living room (being from Massachusetts, we called it the "parlor"). It was brown, cropped, worse for the wear, and it had a distinct smell to it that was only amplified once my Mom would Hoover it. I used to have a favorite cup from which to drink soda (why Mom!? the 80s were so reckless). It had this image of a "cool guy" with sunglasses, blond hair, and a big toothy smile wrapped around its outside surface. There were these little shelves on the end cap of the island counter of our kitchen where I would leave my cup to drink from it intermittently while playing around the house. Occasionally, I'd forget that I'd still have some say, RC cola or maybe some generic brand left in the cup. I'd finally get to sipping the rest in between smelling the dusty carpet and visiting the kitchen, and it is flat and tepid. This is what Multiball reminds me of. Thanks for the flashback. Be that as it may, I am fairly certain this was not the perfumer's intention, so I'd hazard to say it misses the mark. It's just a bit too peculiar for me to wholly embrace as a perfume.

I'm on the quest for unique but wearable perfumes and have tested most of the current line of Pearfat perfumes. Multiball opens with a light not too sweet cola that carries through the life of the scent. To me this smells more like a roller rink or family friendly bowling alley that were popular in the late 90s/early 00s. I think it's the waxed wood smell that comes through towards the end. From my memory an arcade would be more the smell of dirty coins, hot ink and paper tickets, and bright notes from the light and sound. Overall a solid and balanced earthy gourmand. I think this is very similar to Shroom Cola but not quite as good.
