Emulsione Libera

Emulsione Libera was launched in 2013, but is no longer available in the current range of options of this House, as happened with Eros. Its name means, in English, "Free Emulsion", which connects with the emulsions used by chemists and pharmacists from yore. Emulsion is a mixture of two liquids, in which one of them is in the form of fine globules within the other. Since is thermodynamically unstable, needs energy to combine itself through agitation, mixing or spray processes. Over time, emulsions tend to return to the stable state, as separate oil from water. In this composition, emulsified Castor Oil makes it possible to take this suspension without tasting its rancid and unpleasant active ingredient. In addition, the fragrance has notes of pineapple, papaya, green tea and mandarin, on top; Violet, jasmine, cardamom and nutmeg, in the body; Amber, green tea, white musk and sandalwood, in the base. On the skin, Emulsione Libera features a strong and different output. Who reads the olfactory pyramid might imagine a super fruity output, but it's not what happens. The violet, which is in the body of the fragrance, appears immediately, mixing itself with the fruity nuances and the green tea. And this mix results in an aroma that reminds of the earthy facets of the Iris and also of some fragrances with patchouli nuances. This sweet-powdery smell of violets seems to come more from the stems than from the leaves, which usually have greener nuances. There's not a lot of evolution, but the cardamom and the nutmeg appear sometimes. After about 3 hours, the projection decreases and the scent becomes soft and creamy, with a light touch of sandalwood. Again, Peccato Originale managed to create a distinctive fragrance with very good lasting. My criticism is for the projection, which deserved to be stronger, because it is the kind of perfume that deserves to exhale more and also arouses the curiosity of others.
