Essenza Miracolosa

This is almond/caramel/amaretto HEAVEN! 🥰 I just received the Genre Parfums dupe as well & I smell exactly what the notes list for this original! While I haven't smelled the original, I'd guess this is exactly how it smells. I smell creamy caramel drizzled over chocolate almonds with some amaretto! It's smooth, warm, and inviting. Luckily, the caramel is not burned and it's a sweet caramel that isn't sickly sweet. I definitely DON'T SMELL buttered popcorn or banana Greek yogurt. It doesn't smell weird and I don't think it smells like Cheirosa '71 either because that has the weird buttered popcorn note that I can't stand. I'm very sensitive to that popcorn note because it doesn't evoke good memories for me, so I'm very glad my Genre dupe has zero trace of popcorn! I know everyone's nose is different but the people I've talked to who also own Genre's version and this original have said that their Genre dupe is pretty accurate! In fact, I love to compare originals with dupe houses like The Dua Brand, Genre Parfums, Dossier, Dapper, Oakcha, etc., so I guess I should get a decant of Essenza Miracolosa Peccato Originale and update this entry.

Love at first sniff for me. I am so glad that they have re released it, even though in only one country, different brand/ bottle etc. Thanks to Silvia Monti for bringing this back. My friend introduced the original to me and the juice was dark and beautiful. It is so well blended and you smell so many of the notes; the amaretto, cacao, almond, caramel, vanilla and sandalwood. The Sandalwood grounds it a bit but this is gourmand at it's best. It is not cloying but you will smell delicious. I receive many compliments. I like the new packaging actually but It does not look as unisex as the original. The juice in the new one is light and I look forward to what it will smell like when the juice darkens over time.

This might just be the best gourmand I've come across!. P.s im a gourmand LOVER so i have tried/own A LOT of gourmands. This is the only gourmand fragrance that actually makes me hungry lol. Smells like a ferrero rocher!. Milk chocolate, nutty, caramel, creamy and ofcourse sweet. This to me is a better version of italica. Not that it's a dupe but it does remind me of italica for some reason. (I think its the milkyness). This is like white chocolate cocopops with caramel and almond and hazelnut. But not cloying. Sooooooo delicious!!!!!!🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

I'm not sure why the first reviewer said not to confuse this for a gourmand? This is the best gourmand I've ever tried! Even better than Roja Sweetie Aoud in my opinion. This is a comforting, sweet but not cloying unisex fragrance. Its sooooo good I need a bottle soon! For me the caramel was the main note I was getting, so delicious. Might edit this later with more once I smell it more from my little sample ー🎅

What I went through to net this perfume lol. It was worth it though. There are still old formulations of this being sold so beware ( I learned the hard way ) the old formulation is green and spicy . I got mine from the Limitedgallery.Ae for a total of $200, it took a few weeks to get here but they have the gourmand formulation. It reminds me of accident a la vanille and Christmas cookies from B&BW

I have not tried the OG but have the Genre's version and one thing for sure they always replicate scents 100% identical, I have tried many. This one is soo good like the best buttery almond cookies with vanilla & caramel. 10/10!!

There are two different formulations of this perfume. Green and spicy ( the old one ) and a gourmand.

Essenza Miracolosa was launched in 2013 and its name means "Miracle Essence". It has been reformulated and, for this reason, is part of the current collection of perfumes produced by Peccato Originale. This review will reveal my impressions about the original 2013 version. In the future, I will publish another review, commenting on the current version, reformulated in 2015 and described as a "bitter almond syrup". The inspiration for this fragrance was the elixir of life, a medicine full of virtues, whose effectiveness promised to treat almost all the diseases of the body. This original version of Essenza Miracolosa contains output notes of bergamot and cardamom, embracing the body with notes of incense, green tea, bouquet of flowers and guaiac wood, on a base of sandalwood, cardamom, spices and Copaiba's balsam. On the skin, the cardamom arrives at the front, smoky and green. The nuance of the bergamot takes a while to appear and gives the impression of being in the body of the fragrance. However, once it arises, permeates for quite a while during the evolution. It is not a fresh but a sour facet. The floral accord is extremely subtle and the fragrance is linear, spinning around the notes of bergamot, green tea, cardamom and copaiba. I really enjoyed the drydown, which has creamy and slightly woody nuances. Essenza Miracolosa is elegant and fresh, following the style of the most classic Italian fragrances, but with a special touch – the cardamom. I would say it is a green-woody scent, very good for hot weather places and that can be worn daily. It has short longevity, but is very good!

Best realistic gourmand, this should be the king of gourmands (in my opinion 100% more than Italica, which is screechy and not reminiscent of any cookie I would eat). This smells like a really DELICIOUS cookie, somehow I’d rather eat it than wear it. BUT it IS the best for real gourmand lovers, true to the notes. I prefer semi-gourmands (like Lira) mixed with some other non edible notes. To me this is food, amazing, delicious cookies. It is not “elegant” or “classy”, but it is good and I like it. I will definitely find a time to wear it when I’m in the mood for this kind of scent. It doesn’t smell cheap, it is not offensive or loud. I purchased this at their website, I had it shipped to my brother’s address in Puerto Rico, because they didn’t have an option for mainland USA.

Just got my hands on Genre’s dupe for this and I wish I had my hands on the original to compare. Fresh out the gate, this one I own smells like old school Hawaiian Tropic suntan lotion. I am not getting buttered popcorn, milk or caramel at all. Just straight up coconut and banana with a hint of vanilla Greek yogurt. It’s a bit tangy. Not too sure how I feel about it just yet, but it’s definitely not what I was expecting. For anyone who owns the original, I would absolutely love some feedback.

Hawaiian Tropic suntan lotion for me too. I felt a bit let down, was excited reading other reviews. But I bet it smells gorgeous on others.

I spent eight months hunting for this fragrance. I looked everywhere, it was always sold out, and I never saw it show up on resale sites like eBay. Well, finally I found a fragrance friend offering a decant, and I jumped at the chance. Did it live up to the hype? Not entirely. Am I disappointed? A little, but I still like this. It reminds me of a better blended EDP version of Christmas Cookies from Bath & Body Works. I have the body cream version of that BBW scent and use it often because it's so yummy, and the moment I sprayed this it reminded me of my favorite body cream, but better, of course. Christmas Cookies is a little bit overly synthetically sweet, like there's some artificial candied nut note that leaps out at me (but not nearly enough for me to dislike it - it's my favorite for a reason). Essenza Miracolosa smells more realistic and balanced. It reminds me of biscotti, baked, the bottoms dipped in caramel, and left to cool, then soaked in amaretto. I adore amaretto so I love that I can really sense that note here without it smelling too much like I just sniffed my bottle of Lazzaroni after making a cocktail with it - though, to be fair, I do love to do that, ha. My biggest issue with this fragrance is that I don't smell the cacao or sandalwood very much, and I think if I detected those notes more strongly, it would add more depth and balance to the caramel-vanilla-amaretto sweetness. I'm going to hang onto my 10mL decant as long as I can and I think it would be great for layering with a cacao, coffee, or woody fragrance to make it even better yet. But unless this fragrance gets restocked (if I recall correctly, the list price was somewhere between $110-140 for a 100mL, which isn't too bad for the size) I'm not sure I'd buy a full bottle, as I'm sure anyone reselling this would ask a little more than I'm willing to pay for this delicious unicorn.

I got a decant of this, sniffed the nozzle, then promptly forgot about it. Meanwhile, I fell in love with Accident a la Vanille and got a full bottle. I became obsessed! Absolutely adore it. Fast forward a couple months and I decided to actually wear my Miracolosa decant. Immediately I was like, wait a second.... I thought the decanter must have accidentally given me a decant of Accident a la Vanille instead. I immediately ran to the Fragrantica page to make sure I wasn't crazy. Well, looks like I'm not the only one! Now that it's been on for about 30 minutes I do find some small subtle differences, but wow the scent is about 95% the same. I don't see the point in owning both, but both are lovely powdery yet creamy vanillas! Very sweet but not insanely sugary where it's gross.

This reminds me of the amaretto biscuits you sometimes are given with a cup of coffee. It’s very interesting and to me at least a unique fragrance, but although I enjoy gourmands I am not sure this is something I’d want to smell of. I appreciate it but might not want to wear it. I think it was a very silly decision to completely change the fragrance but keep the same name. The original woody fragrance, complete with guaiac wood that I find unpleasant, is changed to a caramel, almond and cacao gourmand? Totally daft. I’ve noticed that it’s out of stock everywhere too.

I have a large decant of the original and it’s beautiful. I bought Genre’s version and it’s not a close dupe at all. I’m not saying Genres is bad but all those saying it smells just like it have not smelled the original and are just going on their loyalty to the brand. My bottle was sold on Mercari. Dapper is releasing a dupe, I may try it if not I’m able to find the original.

Just purchased a couple bottles of the Genre dupe. I am so excited! We'll see!! Update: Genre dupe is gross. Smells like straight up popcorn (salty, not sweet) and smells quite dirty. I had hoped to get the almond cookie/caramel popcorn most people get. I loveee B&BW Christmas Cookies, and this is nothing like that. I'm gonna let it sit and revisit.

Has the nicety of a lemon cardamom cookie however, not to be mistaken as a gourmand. Tawny and somewhat bright, this sweet aromatic beauty offers exotic balsams and woods thus creating a cocoa butter like sugariness. Signature scents are born from amalgams such as this. Be warned though, longevity is a problem...batteries sold separately.

I'd love to know where you can buy this in the USA. You can order from the website directly, but the shipping as of today $33.30. That would be ok, but they are out of the larger bottle and the only one available on their site is a 10ml for $22.20. So, not that great a deal. Anyone know?

Idk where ya'll are getting popcorn, Greek yogurt, and banana. The Genre dupe is what I'd assume the og smells like. Almond, vanilla, caramel and slightly lactonic. It almost reminds me of Hilda Soliani Crema di Latte. I may get a decant of the og to compare but overall I am happy.

I just laid my hands on two bottles of this rare gem, after so many months. It's worth the stress though, this rare gourmand perfume is so beautiful, the higher version of Christmas cookies by BW. If any one is interested, you can contact me [email protected] .

I don’t know what this smelled like before but I bought a bottle of the most recent formulation. It’s heaven. The drydown smells like a mix between sweet potato pie and cotton candy and I want to cry I love it so much!

Boozier and less popcorn leaning version of Cheirosa 71, pretty close to Accident a la Vanille, but again, boozier and more almondy. It's nice, but not the one I will hunting for.

This Hasn't Been Discontinued. The Company Just Did a ReBrand it's the Same Scent Just A New Design and name it’s now called SILVIA MONTI ESSENZA MIRACOLOSA

I’ve had the original, this smells like accident a la vanille with almond and cacao. It doesn’t smell like popcorn

I have the Genre version of a 10ML and it does give off a popcorn smell to me hoping it fades away eventually.

If anyone knows where I can find a bottle of this please let me know. Thanks
