Pedro del Hierro for Men

Just based on the one time I was able to try out Ideal Cologne, this does smell a fair amount like it. I couldn’t give any sort of percentage of it, as I’m unable to smell them side by side now. At any rate, this is a pretty good hidden gem that I’m surprised isn’t getting more hype. Even though it’s not listed, I totally get an almond vibe from this and the citruses are very nice and warm, but fresh. It has about average longevity, around 5-6 hours on me. I bought it for about $30 on Amazon a few months ago. It also unexpectedly came with a shave balm that smells very nice as well.

This smells pretty good. It reminds me of Guerlain’s discontinued gem, l’homme ideal cologne but of lesser quality. Certainly leaning a bit more masculine than l’homme ideal cologne. The packaging down to the bottle feels very cheap especially the cap but at least it’s magnetic. For the price you can get it for, I think it is an excellent fragrance. Very mass appealing I got mine for 20 dollars and I don’t regret it I will use this one up first and then my beloved l’homme ideal cologne.

This is very grapefruit, ginger, and pepper heavy in the opening, and that combo can be very polarizing for some...like me...after about 15 to 20 min when the lavender comes in it mellows that out but damn that opening is weird. I think going either heavy with ginger or pepper would have been fine, but going both just feels too much. Overall great warm weather performer and smells decent for the price. Smells like you mixed turathi blue with Guerlain cologne. Projection is very light through the life
