Yes, Please

I really loved sampling this perfume and placed it on my want list. It’s fruity, sweet, rosy, and effervescent. You can smell the grapefruit, pear, the rose, and the cognac note (not listed here.) It’s so candy-like, but grown up intriguing and I couldn’t stop smelling myself while wearing it. In my opinion, this perfume has one of the best openings and it takes a good while (1/2 hour at least) to dry down. This is my favorite part and worth purchasing a full bottle. After it dries down it looses some of its sweetness, as the iris creates a bit of powderiness and the incense adds depth, keeping this perfume from going baby powder, even if you can’t make out the incense separately. Beautifully odd creation and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.

Yeah, I knew I would like this from the note breakdown and I was right... Turpenic fizzy rose and delicious iris with the right amount of dirty funk in the base. I really like it, in fact. I'm a big fan. Plenty of iso-e in the beginning (nothing wrong with that), and a HEAP of synthetic floral boosters (beta damascone in the rose accord, I imagine), and it adds just the right amount of plastic. Next stage for this beauty...

This fragrance opening smells like a blue slushy and a bottle of bubbles. It dries down to a very nice Iris pear scent . This composition is great!

"Yes, please" is my favorite from new collection. Combination of cognac, aldehydes(which is not listed), pear, grapefruit and iris is just so unique and addictive. I didn't get any incense but I get some strong harsh note(I believe it is aldehydes) which is similar the one used in blacklight and flesh. For me, It is much more balanced than other perfumes in the new collection. I'm talking about the balance of booziness, fruitiness and harsh accords. You can be sure that you have never smelled anything like this in your life and this shows Ömer's creativity.. In the dry down it loses its boozyness and iris gets sweeter It lasts very long and projects really good.

Finally testing this on skin today. Yes, Please opens with a sour-dirty-animalic note that's surely challenging for less trained noses and could create a gag reaction. I know Sichuan Pepper has that sour-dirty aspect, but also some animalic musks have it too. The dirtiness only lasts for 5 minutes though and then it tones down, giving way to the main body of the scent - grapefruit X rose X esters = which in my perfume experience creates an accord I like to call "floral champagne fizz". The olfactory color is surely salmon-pink, in that sense the bottle is spot on with what you smell. *Esters = In layman's terms it's a group of chemical compounds usually having sweet fruity floral smell such as jasmine, pear, banana, pineapple etc. Mid-drydown reveals the violet-iris but only a hint to my nose, I might be biased to write after seeing the notes. I actually thought this was the powderiness from the musks such as Habanolide (hot iron smell, human skin, salty), in combination of ionones (violet smelling molecules) rather than an actual buttery iris. I do get a hint of raspberry here as well, to give a nice shade of pink-red to the fragrance. Overall, very nice work from Ömer that contrasts a quick flash of dirty-sourness with the most pleasant fruity-sweet cleanliness.
