Tempus ludendi

I can't spot anything specific in this fragrance. To me its a perfectly balanced mix overwhelming my senses. The beginning feels very outside of any mainstream fragrance nowadays, but the more time passes the more pleasant this herbal combination gets. It feeds my appetite and makes me hungry. Very green and herbal, with an diffusive spicyness and aromatic-sweet-fruity undertones.

An excellent example of how masculine florals should be. Lavender, orange blossom and herbs create a lovely floral canvas, with just a hint of an animalic note (citrus blossoms often give that impression) and lead the way to a velvety sweet, sandalwood base. Despite the very nice, aromatic, barbershop feeling it is dark enough to be worn all day long.

A common theme among Pell Wall I see, the cloves. Here there are in the center as well and surrounded by bergamot, mint and herbs. It's very spicy, barely sweet and a bit aromatic. Within an hour when the clove bomb starts mellowing down, it gets green, maintaining the aromatic aspect. The drydown is spicy aromatic with a barbershop vibe. Scent: 5/10 Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 3/10

Temps Ludendi is an interesting combination of green, spicy and woody elements. The main players for me are the cloves, mint and lavender which lay on top of a woody base with a little hint of sweetness from the vanilla and a slight booziness from the cognac. I can’t detect the florals or the citrus. The composition is very well blended and has a smooth quality to it.
