Halfeti by Penhaligon’s is one of those fragrances that doesn’t simply perfume the skin — it claims a space around you. Created by the master perfumer Christian Provenzano, the same creative mind behind some of the most exquisite scents I have ever experienced — such as Blue Sapphire and Valiant from Boadicea the Victorious — Halfeti carries that unmistakable signature of opulence, structure, and emotional depth. There is something almost cinematic about encountering it in the wild. When you arrive in Covent Garden, there is a small stretch of street where the air itself feels perfumed. Before you even locate the storefront, you know it is there. In the very heart of the neighborhood, the Penhaligon’s boutique gently exhales Halfeti into the atmosphere, and for a brief moment London feels warmer, more intimate, more mysterious. Halfeti opens with richness — saffron and spices glowing against a fruity darkness — before settling into a velvety rose wrapped in oud and leather. Penhaligon's Halfeti is a fragrance that I would consider a masterpiece. It's difficult to describe exactly what makes this fragrance so special, and I'm aware that perfume is subjective, but if you haven't tried it, I would strongly encourage you to. It has an almost oily texture and sits relatively close to the skin with moderate sillage. That being said, it goes through three distinct stages when I wear it. Initially, upon application, you're greeted with a very smooth oud and nutmeg combination that smells warm and addictive. This isn't a traditional Middle Eastern-style oud; instead, it's a creamier and more refined interpretation of the note. Everything else in the opening is blended perfectly, creating a mature herbal character, though not in an especially green way. It's more mellow and linear. It reminds me of the dry down of BDK Gris Charnel, when the sandalwood begins to emerge alongside the herbal facets of the fig. As far as projection goes, the opening performs very well and creates a noticeable scent trail without becoming intrusive or overwhelming. The dry down is my least favourite part of the fragrance, though not in a negative way. You'll notice much of what defined the opening beginning to fade, leaving behind a very soft, slightly floral scent with a vanilla nuance that still feels rich and refined. At this point, the fragrance almost seems to lose some of its character, and there's a transitional phase before it develops into its third and final stage. The base of the fragrance is simply amazing. I'm always quite cautious of leather in fragrances, as I think it can ruin a lot of otherwise great creations. That's what I initially expected here. However, the leather in Halfeti is executed so tastefully that it becomes the standout element of the entire composition. What you're left with is an incredibly mature and opulent blend of leather, vanilla, and woods. It smells effortless, almost as though it's simply your natural scent rather than a fragrance you're wearing. To me, it is the embodiment of maturity. Additionally, if you spray this on clothing and smell it the following day, the scent is incredible. The way it lingers on fabric is one of my favourite parts of the fragrance. As for when to wear it, I would say Halfeti works at any time of day and in any season. While it opens with considerable strength, the relatively restrained sillage and the airy, almost watery quality of the mid-notes allow it to work surprisingly well in warmer weather. As long as you're comfortable wearing it, I don't think anyone around you will have a problem with the scent. If you're having trouble imagining what this fragrance smells like, just picture yourself walking into the Ritz. That's what comes to mind whenever I smell Halfeti. At £220 I believe it is fairly priced, Of course, value is subjective, and it may not be worth that price to everyone. Speaking objectively, I think the fragrance could reasonably be priced closer to £130. This fragrance is perfectly unisex, and if you want to smell like a member of the royal family, I would highly recommend giving it a try. Rating: 9/10 An incredible fragrance. :)

The newest fragrance I fell in love with, and it's one I thought I wouldn't like based on its scent profile. Halfeti is unbelievably good. It exudes opulence and refinement, and it's just so incredibly seductive it was hard for me to keep myself from smelling my arm all night long last night. It opens with this strong woody and spicy rose that's quite gentle but assertive. Over time, the spice from the saffron and cardamom is subdued slightly and it becomes a sweeter, slightly ambery vanilla scent. To be completely honest I cannot pick up the citrus from the top notes at all, the rose, spices and woods are too prominent and completely drown out what little bergamot and grapefruit there might be. The only complaint I have with this fragrance is there's a slight animalic touch to it that shows itself long after applying it that can be a bit off putting as it smells like sweat/bad body odor. This might be a subjective thing, as I'm noticing it lingering in my nose now, around 12-14 hours later. I have also sampled both Halfeti Leather and Cedar from Penhaligon's Trade Routes discovery set and I can confidently say neither comes close to how good the original is, although I still like both, especially the latter. Performance wise, this is really decent. Sillage is moderate, but for reference I only sprayed my neck twice and once per forearm off a sample vial, so really the amount of fragrance I applied was rather small. Even so, I could smell myself really well for about two hours and then it dried down to a skin scent. I'm sure if I had sprayed myself with a full bottle projection would have been much stronger. In terms of longevity, it's been 14 hours since I applied it on skin and I can still pick up the scent clearly, which is quite impressive considering how little fragrance was applied on my arm. I'm fighting my temptation of getting a full sized bottle really badly right now.

This is the Penhaligon's fragrance that everybody knows about, as it has somewhat crossed over into the mainstream, into the consciousness of those who like stuff like shitvage and versace. Subsequently, the price of it has shot up to the moon, on an amphetamine high. Much like Adele's music, when it first came out, I thought Halfeti was beautiful. But over time, it has been bastardised and sprayed all over the place by every Tom, Dick and cunt, which severely dilutes the magic of it. The scent itself is fucking lovely. Total bottled royalty. Oud reigns supreme in Halfeti. There is a complex study of it taking place in this perfume, as it blends with other scent notes expertly and effortlessly, across all levels. Warming, grandiose and charming, it does not outstay it's welcome, like an all-out-of-fucks-to-give cat, that slinks it's way between different houses to be repeatedly fed. The initial spray does not change with time - how it smells when applied is how it will smell until you take it off. Spices that were once unattainable to common human muck, are readily available in Halfeti. If you like classic perfume blends, this will float your boat for sure. Interestingly, I have an original formulation of Halfeti. It has changed a little since it's release, to adjust it for mass market pulling power. Not everyone can detect these changes, but I have very sensitive olfactory nerves. I got a new sample of Halfeti to test my theory, and the full size Halfeti that I have is ever so slightly heavier on the leather, and the oud has more room to work, as the spice profile sits a little bit further back. If you know what you're looking for, and therefore looking in the right places, you will know what I mean. Good luck! 7/10. It's good, but it's crossover into the uneducated masses turns my stomach a bit. Yes, I am a perfume snob.

I'm wearing this for the first time in years right now and I'd forgotten just how beautiful it is. All these reviews calling Halfeti quintessentially masculine were so interesting to see! Back in the day I used to consider this my most powerfully feminine and gothy fragrance. Also I have to admit, I was very surprised by all the notes listed here when I first looked it up. This was my signature daily spray scent for like 5 years and I used to only smell those deeply mysterious, dark and dewy roses from Halfeti. Granted I was a smoker back then but my nose has always been good, I just really hadn't smelled enough perfumes yet to be able to isolate all the aspects that build a scent profile like this one. Wearing Halfeti now has been so fascinating. All the woods and citrus and spices I'm now getting are blowing my mind a bit, ngl. There's still that beautifil gothic rose here that I remember, but this is like going back to a house I spent years living in, and finding out it has several floors and a whole bunch more rooms that I'd just never noticed before. I think I'm most surprised by the leather, oud and vanilla, how I never noticed that aspect of the dry down on myself before is wild. The cypress and citruses I used to think were just part of the 'rose' scent, but I can smell them so clearly now. And all the spices are so good here too, wow. Seriously, how could all of these have always been here? Ugh, this perfume is so freaking gorgeous. 12h longevity over heavy moisturiser in hot weather, with strong to intimate sillage. Unisex, but only really as my notion of femininity has changed a bit over the years.

Be still, my beating AORTA!!! 😍😍😍 One sniff of this and it’ll change your life like it did mine - honestly. 😍 My wonderful husband treated me to a bottle of this after I fell in love with a sample of it last year. Man.. I don’t think I can return to my former cheaper, fruity florals now 😂.. this is just so beautiful, so complex and makes me excited to wear it every time, especially on those cold Autumn/Winter days. Yes, it is expensive but I honestly would say it’s worth every penny (my husband agrees 😆).. the performance is just next level and the happiness it brings.. priceless. Ladies, if you’re usually into softer sweeter fragrances, don’t be put off by the stronger notes as you’ll likely find it grows on you the more you sniff it, as I found myself. I’m growing to love it more every day (My husband loves it more and more too!) While this is unisex, I would personally recommend “The Blazing Mr Sam” to any guy who wants a slightly deeper and even more masculine version of this. My husband wears it and I absolutely adore it on him 😍 What else can I say.. This has me absolutely hooked for life, especially for those cold Autumn months - it’s so wonderfully woodsy! It transports me to a beautiful forest in the day and then by a blazing bonfire with fire flies amidst at night. ❤️ So to wrap up.. Ladies and Gentlemen, I am proud to present to you my Signature, a stunning perfume, a contemporary masterpiece without ifs or buts, a fragrance that stands alongside the masterpieces of Penhaligon's and artistic perfumery in general, a fragrance strictly for jackets and ties but not only... spicy, woody, I can smell everything from saffron, to cardamom, to tonka bean and vanilla in the closing to a stunning rose, and what a rose... in the heart notes, a perfume that has two faces, intriguing and austere in the middle, sensual in the closing, I imagine it as an English Lord who from the leaden sky, elegance and austerity of Savil Row, leaves for exotic destinations such as the Middle East or Turkey, with its markets, its spices, its sunsets, and from this union is born this creamy rose, intriguing but with a typically British backbone, therefore not a 100% oriental rose, nor 100% British, but the perfect union between these two worlds. To be worn in the office or any formal event, or maybe on some street in Turkey or the Middle East, maybe at sunset with a beautiful black shirt, black like this rose, which symbolizes mystery and eternal passion, both day and night, I see it worn by a king and a sultan, but in our small way by anyone who wants to feel noble in spirit and who wants to travel even just for one night to exotic destinations... intriguing and sensual with a certain British elegance....

.Just wanna start out by saying I love this fragrance btw but my concern lies with how I received my bottle. Outside of the box was fine but the inside was a little damaged, whatever, the top of the ball on the cap was a little scratched, whatever, but the glaring issue was with the ribbon. It looked like it was sloppily tied on and I’ve never seen that in any review or picture of the bottle. I really don’t mean to sound pretentious if that’s the right word for it or come off as nit picky but when I’m paying for quality I expect quality and that means even the little details. So far I think I’m alone on this problem cuz like I said I haven’t seen the ribbon tied this way on any picture or in any review. I would say and I would hope that it’s not a fake since I bought it straight off of fragrancenet. It smells like the sample I have of it I mean maybe it’s a fake but I tried looking it up and nothing comes up when I search fake halfeti. So it comes down to just lazy packaging which is disappointing coming from a brand I respect and that prides themselves on luxury. Again im not mad im still gonna rock tf out the fragrance cuz at the end of the day it’s the scent that we’re after and this is truly in my top 5. Sorry for the long rant just wanna know has this happened to anyone else when they purchased halfeti?

Named after a city which produces a unique type of black rose, Halfeti is a gorgeous fragrance. It's been done and redone in various iterations with slight tweaks (Nishane's Papilefiko being the most known one, I would think) but never as good as the original. That intense spicy oudy punch blended with sophisticated rose just comes across as big money. It smells expensive, manly and exudes a strong presence. This is not one to wear on a beachside day out. This is a bold scent, ideally dressed up or at least the signature of a man who has charisma and is not afraid to leave his mark (his trail). The oud here might challenge some people, it's discreet but it's reinforced by spices and rose. Other than that, there's a reason why Halfeti is a hallmark scent for Penhaligon's. It's kingly and sophisticated, I would say this is one for a mature man, on a guy below 30 this might be out of place unless the guy's very mature. It lasts a very long time, I can still smell it on me by the time I go to bed if I put it on at 6 am, so longevity is no issue. Also, please don't wear this a lot of this in the summer heat or in close quarters, you'll get a headache and choke people out. If you're a guy who's new to Penhaligon's, this is one to get your nose on.

Well, this one was a massive surprise. I blind-bought based on my previous two purchases from Penhaligons (The Cut & Endymion Concentree) and also from reviews, most of which are very positive. Upon initial spray, I did not expect it to smell like it did. It immediately strikes with a huge blast of oud and spicy wood. The oud is not hardcore, nor is it animalic. It kind of reminds me of an older gentleman's scent. At this point, I was a bit worried that it smelled a bit too "mature," but this develops so beautifully, and it steers back into something that is so great for all ages. This scent is so wild to me. I don't even know how to describe it other than spicy and woody. It starts off with a sharp bang and dries down to a calm, softer masculine scent, but not too soft. I can only guess that the dry down is a mix of the spicy woody notes in combination with the vanilla. This stuff makes me crave smelling it. I have a collection of almost 150 frags, and I have chosen to wear this three days in a row, which is rare for me. I have this strong desire to inhale the initial spray and then sit back and smell its development as it magically turns into a ridiculously delicious masculine smell. Man, I am weirded out how much I like this!

At opening, it’s like the moment where you find a river after looking for it for days, only searching through the land guided by a distrustful old map from Turkey. With long blades of grass, herbs and flowers by the river bank, a mist brings in an invigorating freshness that energizes your every bone. From the distant south, a beautiful woman is peacefully steering a boat made of thin, humid planks of cedar and sandalwood. She is wearing a large straw and leather hat, and the most beautiful smile on her face. She glides through a wide river. At the bank she sees familiar flowers and herbs, that fill the air with a delicate and light fragrance. She is on a secret route, to smuggle the most beautiful and exotic spices, oils and mysterious gems, from the port to the city. Addicting, delicious, woody, refreshing and also warm and spicy, at the opening, this is one of the best fragrances I’ve ever felt. It’s an invigorating scent that does all the right things. But after around 10 minutes, on my skin, the scent becomes very light and I almost can’t smell it. This is not very intense, but a very interesting, unique, delicious scent that is so versatile — you can wear this anywhere and anyone will like it.

Amazing spicy, cedar and leather fragrance. Just the right amount of heavier molecules textured with nutmeg, tonka and cardamom The fact that the rose is not prominent, is also a huge plus in my opinion. And oud? What oud? The scent did not change much after 1 hour, maybe lost projection a bit but it smells FAN-TAS-TIC. I must admit, this carries the DNA of Gucci Rush, Pal Zileri Sartoriale, Azzaro Visit, Costume National Homme and Chopard Oud Malaki. It's actually a popular accord from Dominique Ropion. The longevity is 12+ hours, projection is quite far reaching as far as feedbacks from others, skin scent after 7-8 hours mark. I sprayed again last night around 11pm to my forearm just to feel good. This morning I woke up, started working at home, then got gentle whiffs of Comme des Garcons Wonderoud/wood..."When did I spray it ?" I asked myself. Well I did not of course. This was just Halfeti leftover sandalwood from last night. It can be layered nicely with more smoky/dry woody stuff like Gucci PH/Bentley Absolute. Or simply by more contemporary peppery sandalwoods like CdG Wonderwood/Wonderoud. It might become boring after some years, but as of first experience, it's superb.

This Scent is a masterpiece; tailored to the inquisitive, i find myself reaching for my wrist all day, which each smell i encounter something different, as if the fragrance is moulding to its environment, in a warmer setting i am drawn in with a sensual rose smell supported by saffron; in a cooler environment the fragrance boasts warm vanilla propped by quality Oud, cedar and the perfect hint of amber; i still get that beautiful underlying rose note. I keep mentioning that rose note, and for good reason, i genuinely believe this is the finest rose note you will find amongst any fragrance, it is boastful yet refined; powerful but inoffensive, it is effortlessly attractive. Halfetti is for the confident, yet you don't need to be; this fragrance will do all the talking for you. I must also add, there are not many fragrances that can play the unisex field like Halfetti can; one can enjoy the feeling knowing they are the best smelling person in the room when wearing this; but you will tire of the name Halfetti once you have described this fragrance to every inquisitive individual who has been roped in by the enigma that is... Halfetti.

Cedar is one of my favorite woody notes and when amplified by a nice, chewy patch I like it even better. Halfeti takes woods to a whole new level with the addition of oud and cypress. Woody heaven! But lest you think Halfeti is just another walk in the forest, I'm here to tell you that a smooth amber resin, deep dark roses, fine, fine leather and, improbably, cardamom, cinnamon, tonka and vanilla (ALL of which my nose detects) shift Halfeti into a magical warm blend unlike anything else in my collection -- a woody spice. Truly sublime. I went on a Penhaligon's binge last January and didn't give Halfeti enough attention in the following weeks, at least not enough to properly evaluate and appreciate her. With the onset of cold weather this year I've come to know her better and give her my highest recommendation. Can't say how Halfeti works on male skin but she truly blossoms on mine. Not for lovers of light florals or candy-sweet fragrances but if you're looking for a woody, leather spice bomb that lasts for 6-8 hours and radiates comfort and warmth, Halfeti is for you.

As my barber once said 'You Smell Rich!', and now I have to tip him more. So If you want people to stop you and say you smell amazing, this is a solid choice of scent. I saw and ad on instagram for Halfeti, then remembered I had an unopened sample somewhere in my bathroom from buying my mum 'The Favourite'. When I finally found it I was just blown away by it's heavy, exotic power. The next day I went and got a 100ml bottle, which was my first fragrance change in over a decade (RIP Chanel Bleu). To me it felt like a sophisticated, grown up kind of scent, its very powerful and commanding and guaranteed to get you a compliment whenever and wherever you wear it. A Great option for bar/pub/club settings as it stands out against everything else, so your friends will always find you. I'd recommend it to anyone, although I do think it leans more masculine, which is why I ended up branching out to other scents, but it's still there for when duty calls.

I want to love this on myself, I really do. I love it on paper, on clothes and even on my hand to just keep sniffing. But I cannot see myself wearing it, as a woman, it's a tad too masculine for me. Don't get me wrong, I've dozens of unisex fragrances and I love wearing them. But this one is just.... Ah, it belongs to James Bond, lol. And I'm not James Bond, I never will be. But I'd love to smell this on a James Bond. It's such an alluring, sexy, intoxicating combo of Oud, leather, rose and spices. Sigh! It's so addictive. The citrus, the herbs, the saffron all together blended into a perfect cacophony of senses, it's like music for your nose! I feel if I wear it, I will lose my femininity, if that makes any sense at all. I'm so attracted to this scent, but not on myself. On a man, it would be a babe magnet for sure. From start to dry down, it stays strong, powerful, unique and seductive. It's beautiful. It's poetry in a bottle, to be honest.

Halfeti was my first true fragrance love and the scent that made me genuinely fall in love with perfume as an art form. Before this, fragrances were simply something pleasant to wear, but Halfeti completely changed the way I experienced scent. A little decant started this love affair. Now I'm all in and considering a full shabang of a purchase. Halfeti is an exquisite fragrance - straight off the bat it gives you a complex cacophony of beautiful notes: green zesty cypress, rich nutmeg and deep saffron (but not the overpowering saffron you get in pretty much all middle-eastern scents). Halfeti is so all-encompassing, it would be wrong to say this has Top, Middle and Base Notes. Like the Oscar-winning film, this fragrance is 'Everything Everywhere All At Once'! You get some of the, so-called, base notes, such as leather and cedar, from the opening blast. And even on the drydown, there is a soupçon of grapefruit and saffron. Halfeti is a masterpiece and, if you don't agree, that is the wonder of critical reviews. You are entitled to your opinion, but if you do disagree, you are clearly wrong 😉😘

Right, so my second review on Fragrantica is for one of my favourite fragrances of all time. My girlfriend brought me this fragrance for Christmas after banging on about it for ages and always smelling it every chance I got. My overall thoughts are really positive. I seem to get spicy/leather in the opening and more oud/woods in the dry down for sure. It just smells way more quality and refined that any designer fragrances and you just feel better when you have it on. In terms of performance, it's good, not amazing. With the notes being dark and strong, it would be hard for it to last anything short of 6 hours anyway. Will always recommend Halfeti, and I will always have a bottle. Can always pick it up in 10ml or 30ml if you don't fancy spending big money. This would be a special occasion scent anyway for me. I hope this helps.

It’s theatrical, yes, but in that strangely convincing way luxury sometimes is, making you believe for a moment that opulence is necessity. I consider this an essential fragrance to own that's elegant, refined, and unmistakably luxurious.

I get liquorice with a weird, out of place sharpness initially (I think it's the grapefruit) but this all fades within seconds to a very deep, warm, spicy woods - big oud and sandalwood. On me there's the most gentle hint of creamy jasmine but otherwise we go straight to the base notes. As a feminine person and lover of woods, I find that often they're too smoky or 'big' and read masculine, but for me this is decidedly for women - another reviewer said 'a walk in the park just after rain' and I would add that it's a late autumn or early winter day! But there's a sophistication to it, too - the wearer of Halfeti is ending their walk with a visit to a luxurious wine bar. Also, one of the best in the Penhaligon collection for longevity and sillage.

I have over 40 colognes in my collection and this was the first fragrance I’ve tried where I was like “holy shit” this is everything I’ve been looking for. My girlfriend had the same reaction when I first wore it and she said I smelled rich. I feel rich wearing it Don’t make the mistake of over spraying this. Especially in warming weather because it can become extremely cloying. I’ve gotten told I was wearing too much cologne about an hour in and I only wore two sprays. This is an extremely difficult fragrance to pull off casually. You’ll smell like an asshole if you don’t dress the part. But If it’s a night out a dressed sharp. It’s a no brainer. This will be in my rotation for life.

Halfeti by Penhaligon’s – A Timeless, Elegant Love When I first bought the 30ml bottle, I was instantly charmed by its balanced projection—powerful yet never overwhelming. The drydown is where it truly shines: fresh yet undeniably classy, with the rose and oud blending seamlessly without suffocating those around you. Based on the composition, I find it perfect for office wear and cold weather—sophisticated but never stuffy. It was such a 10/10 experience that I nearly finished my first bottle and immediately upgraded to the 100ml, along with the Halfeti body lotion (because why not smell this good all day?). A flawless fragrance for anyone who loves refined, long-lasting elegance.

The opening of Halfeti for me was awful. Dusty, woody, and sweaty. Smelled like an old man. I was gonna scrub it off but I decided to see where it was going. And I'm glad that I didn't because it dried down to a spectacular scent. Sandalwood, Cardamom and leather is what I mainly picked up on, and it turned very sweet and ambery on my skin. Other than that I would have a hard time describing what I am smelling- which makes sense due to the lengthy note breakdown. Great stuff. Unrelated- and I don't know why, perhaps my skin chemistry, but every Mancera & Montale Fragrance I've ever tried very late in the dry down smells like Halfeti. At least up close.

This is the fragrance that got me into fragrance, and the one that keeps me into fragrance. Every sniff of this is animalic euphoria. Imagine a rose wrapped in amber, placed in a very old ornate wooden drawer, smothered in cedar branches and pine. Open the drawer years later and you won’t even have to search for a gasp of surprise. This is an undeniably warm, resinous fragrance and the epitome of a spicy and woody rose. I suppose its similar to portrait of a lady, but amp up the woods and cedar. I agree with the others in that this is masculine-leaning, but, I still feel completely comfortable wearing this out. Think leather jackets and black lace.

I thought the hype was too much, until I sampled and found out that this is one hell of a good leather perfume. It's so well-balanced and the spice notes it has isn't offensive or harsh, so is the leather, it's rather smooth and well refined. I'm very surprised by the outcome, I get green cypress, lactonic smooth nutmeg, creamy raw leather, oud, amber and some spices, all well put together. Very elegant and sophisticated. This might potentially be the best leather scent I have ever come across. The funniest part is that it's so smooth I can even wear it to bed. It's masculine. Also it's sillage and longitivity are on the low, but it's so worth it.

At the risk of being contentious, this is what a man should smell like. A hugely complex composition that feels considered and bold. Opening spicy and fruity, then easing into a woodsy, slightly leathered dry-down filled with darkness and sweet resinous depth that’s dense and opulent. It plays polite but absolutely owns the room with a real heft that just oozes class. I’m told they pump this through the air conditioning in Penhaligon’s stores. I can’t speak to that as there aren’t any where I live. Perhaps that’s a blessing, as I fear this might take the shine off it for me. In any case, what a great perfume.

My very first niche perfume, and one that I did a pretty good job of selecting, if I say so myself. Where to begin? This is a multi-layered, beautiful piece of perfumery. It feels like you're walking through a pine forest high up in the mountains, until it flawlessly transitions into a sweeter, denser scent. It's a testament to the craftsmanship that I can’t quite pick out the individual notes; just a very pleasant journey from start to finish. Performance? Very impressive. It projects strongly with respectable longevity. Likeability? This is the perfume I've received the most compliments on. Overall: 9/10.

Blind bought a 10ML of this scent and it did not disappoint. It opens up very citrusy (for some reason reminds me of vibrato by sospiro), and has some spices and a beautiful rose, and dries down kind of ambery. The whole scent is very dry and desert like, while still being clean. It's what I imagine a luxury hotel room in Dubai would smell like. The scent surprised me in a good way, I was expecting it to smell leathery or oud-y but it's a very easy wear, light and fresh while still smelling very luxurious and upscale. Perfect for dressed up occasions, everyday comfort or dates.

Every time I wear it, I’m reminded of how much I love this fragrance. It starts out a bit spicy with a touch of sweetness, and then it continues to evolve on the skin as time passes. By the time you reach the dry-down, it becomes even more beautiful. It’s not a one‐dimensional fragrance, not even in the dry-down, which is sweeter than the opening yet still layered. You can smell the quality from start to finish. I know some people like to call it “challenging,” but I honestly wonder if those who say that have worn it long enough to experience the full journey.

This perfume to me smells like an old man. Ive had the bottle since November and its one of my favourite perfumes. It has this nice rose and cardamom and leather at the start I cant smell the oud but it smells spicy and sexy. I would get a second bottle of it for sure. It'a also a compliment getter and is one of those perfumes that still lingers even after leaving the skin. An old Italian or Turkish man in a suit and a tie that smokes cigars and signs about the love he has for the country he lives in It's mature yet its easy to pull off.

Penhaligon’s Halfeti is one of the most perfected luxury fragrances in my opinion. It literally smells so expensive and refined, but at the same time its character isn’t overly polite, it has some bite for sure and it just embodies someone who’s confident and knows what they’re about. The smell itself is pure class. It’s a rich woody scent centred around rose and spices, surprisingly fresh and very classy and sexy. I’d highly recommend it as a unisex fragrance for anyone, although I’d say it leans a bit masculine.

You truly won't find another perfume that reflects its name so clearly. As someone who belongs to this land and knows this small town and its people, I can say that the smell is eastern but not middle eastern, distant but when you get closer it is very friendly and warm, extremely inviting (hospitable), and also dry and dusty like those lands. I found it great, it is very wearable, even on a daily basis except for summer, and it is practical. I will definitely buy it when I find it at an affordable price.

I really love this scent. It opens spicy but sweet like the first sniff of a hot cup of herbal tea. Then it continues to comfort the wearer like the soft recliner that you settle into and enjoy that cup of tea. In my opinion , everything that has been said about the original formulation of Amouage's Jubilation XXV could be said about Halfeti. All of the descriptions about Jubilation XXV smelling like royalty, is what I get from Halfeti.

I am not usually one to go for super spicy scents but I absolutely love this. It lasts forever on skin and clothes. There is this particular top I wore whilst wearing this perfume; it’s been in the wash a good few times and it still smells strongly of this fragrance. It’s blended to perfection and no note stands out. It’s warm, comforting and cosy and perfect for winter. Very much a unisex scent which could be pulled of by anyone.

My favourite in the discovery set, EVERYTHING I WANTED AND MORE from those evening jazz club, tobacco and whiskey musks I tried in the past... as this one has never given me a headache. Potentially my favourite perfume ever, it makes me feel more adult, there is clarity in the scent and it is not too sticky, good for every day and evenings, therefore versatile. Also has excellent lasting power... 100% would purchase full bottle!

Magnifique , si comme moi vous aimez Oud Malaki, vous aimerez celui ci , c'est son Grand frere , le niveau au dessus de Oud Malaki ! Il est un poil plus complexe et meilleur olfactivement que Oud Malaki , les performances sont meilleures également. Par contre Mr Sam est en dessous , il projette très peu je le déconseille. L'idéal et de finir sa bouteille de Malaki tranquillement et ensuite la remplacer par Halfeti 😉

Absolutely love this fragrance. It’s hard to put into words, but Halfeti has this addictive, woody warmth to it. There’s a rich sweetness to it, like warm bed sheets on a slow weekend morning, with a beautiful, sexy, curvy woman beside you (my wife, of course ). It opens deep and slightly spicy, with hints of rose and leather weaving through the wood and amber. It feels veeeery luxurious and expensive!

Aromatic, warm spicy, creamy woody scent with some dry earthy touches and some anisic/licorice facets and hints of florals. There is also a fresh green quality mixing with everything as well as a touch of powdery vibes. There is something dark and deep on the bottom of the scent perhaps oud? but it all works together beautifully. A great scent worthy of a spot in any collection and very versatile.

This fragrance from the opening to the dry down is fantastic. It's my favourite fragrance in my collection as it smells pretty unique and the leather and woody combination is really good. Although the price is pretty high, I would still recommend this fragrance if you want to stand out and get compliments. This is definitely signature scent worthy and is great for special occasions. 10/10!

I LOVED this on my boyfriend but on myself it smells synthetic (sad hahah). The opening is very sharp but don't let that scare you away: the drydown after apr. 10/20 minutes is beautiful and much more notes reveal theirselves (the scent becomes a little more well rounded)!! Definitely a unique and beautiful complex MASCULINE scent. A woody gem, but most definitely for MEN.

I personally LOOVE this Halfeti DNA, although i would most likely get Mr sam since it really resembles Halfeti but just fixes the Oud Note and adds Vanilla and tobacco which i like more (also a cooler bottle with Mr sam) But i love this scent so much i would honestly own both if i dont find a better Penhaligons from the animal line. (please suggest me some) :)

This convinced me to give oud a chance. I love this on my husband, but I wear it as well as I find it unisex leaning masculine. It's more suited to cold weather, but can work in the summer for a night out. I love the deep rose and spices. It's very well blended and smells high quality, as I've come to expect from most Penhaligon fragrances.

A warm, oriental cardamom explosion with some dirty, leathery notes. I personally love cardamom scents so Halfeti for winter is a dream. That said, for such a widely discussed perfume it's not very unique. Out of all cardamom scents I don't feel that this is a clear outstander. It's lovely, don't get me wrong, it's just not a jawdropper.

Not my favourite smell but definitely my favourite fragrance, the sillage, the projection, the longevity are all perfect, the blend is perfect, the bottle is perfect (bow aside), the box was perfect, the way the bagged it was perfect, the service in their boutique, perfect, cannot speak highly enough of Halfeti and Penhaligan’s

Spiced leathery gothic rose—the darkest rose, a carved rose in cedar wood, inside of a leather pouch. I reach for it when I wear my leather jacket, for literary dates at a café and introspective moods. It also feels right for the library, as if it belongs among old books and quiet afternoons. Quiet, dark, and deeply romantic.

8/10. Beautiful. Mild at first then opens up. Honey with delightful spices. A library with a skylight and old cedar chairs to sit down and read. I smell several different woody trees and a mossy forest at daybreak. It becomes astringent after 10 mins then moves toward greater sweetness. Equally good for a man or woman.

Probably my sexiest fragrance, and the one I opt to wear most on date nights because of how dark and mysterious it is. It’s layered and complex and lasts for hours and hours. It’s powerful but also feminine. A 5ml bottle has lasted me so long! Shame about how expensive it is but you certainly get what you pay for!
