Pepe Jeans Celebrate for Him

I was walking around the shops on the Black Friday event and I came across Pepe Jeans Celebrate for Her, which was among the news and discounted for the occasion. The clerk I know well told me that there was the for Him pair, either, and brought me the tester and a paper strip drenched of that juice. First things first, the bottle likens the original, a cocktail shaker-shaped bottle, yet with a darker blue navy glass and a golden cap, which will stand out among other fragrances on your shelf. That said, as I moved the strip close to my nose, an aroma formed by fresh citrus Caribbean lime and fruity blackcurrant, with its tart and sweetness that projects as a spicy-fruity-woody note retaining a fresh, yet tangy nuance, reached my nostrils. The more I breathed the redolence radiated by the strip the more I was captivated by it. If you are familiar with its predecessor, you will find the opening less sweetish, the blackcurrant berries replacing the pineapple pulp keeps the aroma fruity yet a bit sourer. Think about a bowl full of freshly-shelled berries flooded by freshly-squeezed lime juice. Here we go. But that was only the opening and when those citrus notes faded away, a beautiful show took place. Like many of the modern colognes, Celebrate for Him revealed a gourmand facet in the heart, rich of cocoa pods akin to a barrel of pure black chocolate, the cinnamon and the tonka adding the right touch of spiciness and sweetness. As time goes by, refinements of aromatic wood sage and resinous juniper joined the heart keeping the overall aroma far from being cloying. The dry down came a few hours later, plenty of artificial molecules that are so loved by contemporary perfumers. There are modern neat patchouli, mingled with a velvety leather note from birch, and a copious dose of amberwood, which is present in the most renown designer fragrances such as Emporio Armani Stronger with You, Y by YSL, Bleu de Chanel, Boss the Scent Private Accord, and the most recent and similar Bad Boy by Carolina Herrera. The performance likens an EDT concentration, both longevity and sillage are detectable for the first few hours, then the cologne stays close to the skin. It is a bit disappointing if you consider that it is an EDP. I see this cologne agreeable during the cool season, autumn months and perhaps early spring days are fine, I'm wearing it today at work and nobody complained or got offended. Evening out, dinner, date, and night event are also suitable occasions, yet I would refrain from rocking it for clubbing, it smells great but it is not so powerful for affording the night out. -Elysium

He said everything and more, i feel like i cant add much to what he said but i wanna point something to *SOME* of the people that are exagerating their dislike to this frag, im sure if Pepe jeans Celebrate edp was packaged under a D&G or Armani or such brands this fragrance wouldve been so successful and there wouldve been some sort of big hype around it and u might find ur self liking it and purchasing it for 4 times its actual price now... i tried to see and understand the nagtive things about this frag but i couldnt find any, the presentation is so good, the quality is there, cellophane, box, design, style everything, so cool so modern, the bottle is unique and special with a type of luxurious style, the cap is good, the sprayer is fine the scent is far from being extremely synthetic as some stated, the perfume is lovely and lasts and has that eau de parfum type of vibe, u feel its a proper edp concentration perfume and it does have some uniqueness to it, it might not b for everyone and tastes might vary but its not that bad of a frag as some tried to belittle it, just because its from Pepe Jeans and not YSl or such...

Former bartender and I really think these bottles look cool! The note breakdown and reviews peaked my interest and at 30$ usd for a 50 ml had to try. On paper, I feared the worst... no top notes, just loud tonka sweetness. The original Pepe for men seemed way easier on my nose (cross between Halloween X and polo red). On skin everything flipped. Beautiful blend, sweet opening that quickly dries to a balanced green x gourmand which is not common in my collection. Comparing it to those in my collection, it's more fun to wear than something like Armani Code. It makes a shout out to Davidoff's the Game and Brillian Game and adds some richness through the cacao reminiscent of what Boss has done with the scent. I love black currant but couldn't feel it here similar to how I couldn't really feel the pineapple in the original. I'll definitely be wearing this for casual settings from fall to spring and on summer nights, it's a nice edp with mild projecting and staying power and more clean and fun than dark. Good value and a nice youthful nighttime scent with a fun twist. Quality on par with Polo and Lacoste and smoother than Guess 1981 LA or Mont Blanc Legend Night.

Amazing EDP by a top notch nose. It's got cacao and tonka bean as main notes. Lots of Ambroxan. Lasts some 7hs as a skin scent, more on clothes, low projection. The presentation is astounding, great bottle design, very generous applicator, cheap as chips. Great as a casual cold weather or club scent, not so gourmand sweet as the notes could let believe, this quite grassy green and sour from the blackcurrant surrounded by the chocolate-tonka base. Got this for 25 euro the 100ml bottle and that was a very good deal for this product. Usually these type of "promo" perfumes get discontinued pretty fast so if it interests you, try to get it while it's out there, cause this whole Pepe line it's very good.

All I can say is wow 🔥🔥the bottle is beautiful 😘fragrance inside is fantastic🤩🤩 and natural smelling to me... it's just another take on all of these modern sweet-smelling essences.. and it is damn good !! I guess we all like to walk around smelling like cookies candies pastries coffee chocolate vanilla and croissants in this new century haha... First smells for me was instantaneous love, and the fragrance develops after that to a giant plume of smile inducing and mouth watering Joy , to me, the scent is an 8.5/ the strength and the longevity is at least an 8.0/ the price point is a 10⭐not to mention the other lovely flankers of this design by Pepe Jeans London,,Ciao!... and good day to all 🙏💪

Dolce, caldo, quasi aspro nell' apertura. un profumo che ti abbraccia in un periodo freddo per riscaldarti e consolarti. Io lo associo ad un periodo bellissimo della mia vita, dove passavo del tempo con la ragazza che mi piaceva, e che poi ho capito di amare. questo profumo mi ricorda quel periodo, ma poi il profumo finì, e pochi giorni dopo la stessa ragazza con cui mi piaceva tanto stare, mi distrusse psicologicamente. Quando ancora sento questo caldo profumo, e come se qualcuno mi stia dando un abbraccio caloroso, facendomi ricordare il calore che quella ragazza suscitava in me.

Sweet. Long lasting. Definitely has a sweet mixed drink thing going on. Has a similar vibe to the Halloween Man line. I feel like this one gets undeserved hate because it is inexpensive and from a minor brand. If that same scent was put out by Prada or Paco Rabanne, I think it would be more highly rated.

I have over 200 fragrances many very expensive but this one is my favorite. It’s cheap too!!!

Pepe Jeans Celebrate for Him perfume was launched in September 2019, together with its female version (Celebrate for Her), following the previous fragrance duo (Pepe Jeans for Him and Pepe Jeans for Her). The idea of celebration gained a new chapter with the motto “Because life is better together...and together is now”. And the target audience continues to be men born between 1996 and 2010 (Generation Z), who represent the main consumers of the brand. The visual pattern was also maintained, following the concept of friends who get together to drink, talk, and flirt. This time, the cocktail shaker gained more nocturnal tones, through midnight blue painting and golden finishing, reinforcing the idea of intensity, since this new fragrance comes in Eau de Parfum concentration. Once again, Jérôme Di Marino signs the composition of the male fragrance, which has notes of lime oil and black currant absolute, in addition to Indian ginger and grapefruit, in the output; Clary sage absolute, tonka bean, juniper, cardamom, cocoa extract and oil from the leaves of the cinnamon tree, in the body; Birch tar oil, patchouli and amber wood, in the base. On the skin, Celebrate for Him goes beyond the club! Its fragrance breaks the style of the last decade and takes us to the end of the 90s and the beginning of the 2000s when oriental-woody compositions rich in spices stole the attention and stood out for “the new professional”. This was the case with TL Pour Lui (Ted Lapidus) and Arpège Pour Homme (Lanvin), for example. When sprayed, the fragrance reveals an explosion of blackcurrant and grapefruit. Although it has the citrus side of the lime, it is not noticeable. Quickly, the body notes open space and dominate the environment, in a mixed accord with nuances of amber, cinnamon, gin - reinforcing the concept of drinks - and cocoa. Here, this note is not as vivid (as in Kokorico), but it is easily noticed. The base takes a long time to emerge and brings a sweetened effect, which helps to extend the fragrance's durability. Another point worth mentioning is the respect for the DNA that exists between this flanker and the previous version, because, if placed side by side, both fragrances meet at a certain stage of evolution and their kinship is notorious, even being quite different in their entirety. The Celebrate for Him bottle manages to be even more beautiful than the previous one, as well as its contents. As I said above, it is not only a perfume suitable for dance floors or flirting places, but it also works very well in corporate environments and romantic encounters. On my skin, the performance was as good as that of the EDT version, but this EDP fragrance leaves less trace. I finish this third evaluation with a thought: it seems to me that Pepe Jeans London came to fight for its place in the perfumery, just as it did in the world of jeans.

Seemed like a bit of a mess at first but dried to a nice scent within 15 minutes. The lime, currant and chocolate mix is too much at first. Before its dries it smelled like SF Uomo signature but got brighter and turns to a more tonka, amberwood, sage with a touch or chocolate & patchouli scent. Halloween man mixed with Uomo signature minus the coffee. I am glad I bought it ,very unique and will be a great fall winter scent. Almost a blue and green woody mix. Better than I expected for sure and bottle the sprayer is awesome. If this had a higher end designer name it would be a better known fragrance. Not as gourmand as the note breakdown sounds like, not too sweet. Hard to describe this one. Smells more expensive than it is. Will update on performance but I have a feeling its going to be average at worst. 7.5/10 update : under average performance, now I understand why it was cheap but I still like it enough that I will just respray when needed.

Hmmm...I came for cacao/chocolate...found none. This is mostly cinnamon and nutmeg and warm spicy christmasy notes. It ends up being another generic pineapple-smell-opening frag that turns to rotten christmas cinnamon-nutmeg cookies on mid drydown...disgusting. Far drydown is Awesome with the amberwood making it's presence known. But I can hardly make it to the far drydown... Unsure if I'll wear much, will let it macerate until fall...if the chocolate shows up then I'll keep it. If not, it gets gifted for xmas to someone. EDIT: Actually...my sister is a bartender, she would love this. I'll send it to her. EDIT: I wish that they swapped the coffee note in "For Him" with the Cacao note in Celebrate. Both fragrances would have been completely awesome that way.

Nose Note #323 I was staying away from Pepe Jeans for a long time. I've tried 3 so far and none of them were bad, all were surprisingly good. Especially for the money. This one is the first fragrance that gives me banana vibes, not the peel but the actual banana pulp. If anything - it reminded me a bit of CH Bad Boy. Here you can also feel the cacao. I've had a number of fragrances that intended to smell like cacao, but failed. Here it's spot on - not chocolate, but cacao. Soapy cacao, just like Bad Boy. Very decent performance.

This is truly worth the money, and it is not somthing you would expect from a fragrance this cheap, it is very unique and i don't think you will find a fragrence for 20-30$ as good as this, for me it smells kind of like fresh/fruity but also has that warm spicy sweetness in it, truly worth the money. I bought a bottle when i was on a school exchange program 2 years ago in germany and sadly i have not found any of the bottles where i live :( 8.5/10

I can totally understand how the blackcurrant and cacao in the opening can be a bit too much or off-putting for some. However this doesn't last long till you get a beautiful (and unique) drydown. A blue and green woody mix sums it up perfectly as per one of the reviews below. ......and not cloyingly sweet.

Are these the right notes? I get notes that aren't listed and I don't get ANY of the notes that are listed. Except juniper & Clary sage. I get pineapple, cardamom, Vanilla. I don't smell cacao at all. I'm going by a tester. The juice is green in the bottle🤷♀️

Good fragrance for what you spend. The opening has almost the same vibes as edt version, here with black currant and pineapple for edt. The heart notes and the base notes here have more quality...and the longevity is good (5hrs-6hrs ) with 1 hour projection

I thought this was rather fresh for what people made it out to be. Definitely some warmth from the tonka and cinnamon but the black currant, juniper, and lime give the freshness. Performance is good

Invictus victory but budget version

the opening of this is terribly medicinal - i'm not sure what's causing that but i know i don't like it lmao. it's much better when it dries down but still not anything to be wowed by. unfortunate as i enjoy a lot of the notes, but i guess not together. LOVEEEE the bottles though, the shakers and martini glasses are an iconic and fun choice. overall rating: 🩷🩷💔🖤🖤 2.5/5

very synthetic, tonka heavy scent. lacks quality - but i wasnt expecting much given the price and the house. scent profile is decent - although there's something in there that i dont like. something a bit sour. it's not awful - but should it be hyped as an "underrated cheapie"....ehh...probably not. i'd pass at any price point. 4/10

You can definitely smell the cacao (chocolate) in the beginning. It is mixed with cinnamon and the fresh, minty-like smell of the black currant. Next, you come across the clean, herbal, "detergent"-like the smell of the sage mixed with the herbiness of the juniper berries. Then, you smell the woodiness. It is an aromatic fragrance, but it is also gourmand. The sweetness is there. I do NOT like this. It reminds me of an Axe fragrance. Imagine an Axe fragrance that one wears to a formal event or an evening soiree. This is suitable for a young man or an older man with a young personality. Again, It's not my favorite. If you like sweet-gourmand, yet masculine fragrances like "Bad Boy", then you may like this. If you like Axe spray, then you may also like this. "Celebrate" is the formal, older brother of Axe bodyspray. Kid/Teen = Some type of Axe body spray Teen/Young Adult = Pepe Jeans "Celebrate" Young Adult/Man = Carolina Herrera "Bad Boy" BUT DO NOT let my review influence your buy. Assess it yourself and have your own thoughts, rather than strictly going off someone else's thoughts and opinions. If you can, I suggest getting a sample first...or looking up the notes to ensure you will like it. Read reviews before buying a fragrance, but take them with a grain of salt. Everyone has their own opinion regarding smells. IF you do buy it, enjoy it :-)

This was the first fragrance that I got as an adult. My fiancee told me to look for an EDP and the store that I was at didn't have many of those so I decided to stick with this one. Back then when I still knew little to nothing about perfumes - I liked it. I enjoyed the combination of sweetness and the green notes. But after a while, especially since discovering more fragrances and more combinations of different scents and ingredients - I started to enjoy it less and less. Now it seems overly sweet to me to the point of it literally making me sick. Do not put too much of it on you - you will not enjoy it even if you have the sweetest tooth in the world. "Not to be taken" - that doesn't sound that good. At one point I was thinking about giving it away to my friend but I don't want them to smell like a mishmash of sweetness. Throw it away? Would be a waste. So I'll let it stand on my shelf as a reminder of when I just started my fragrance journey.

Little anecdote from my local fragrance store: they've had both Pepe Jeans For Him and Celebrate For Him on display at the front of the store for 1-2 months now (as well as the feminine equivalents). All the bottles for For Him have sold out, while many Celebrate bottles remain unsold. Upon trying both I easily understood why. Celebrate For Him has brilliant opening notes... which last no more than 30-45 minutes. After that it quickly descends into something gross from which it is impossible to detect any particular note. As others have said, a generic mix of stuff combined together without any chemistry between the elements, and no traces whatsoever of cocoa. I ended up buying the last remaining bottle of For Him and doesn't feel like I'll regret this purchase. Glad I took my time to properly try out both and was eventually able to rule out Celebrate For Him.

Hyped on YouTube. Cheap. First impressions? MEH. Weak chocolate orange smell that never really develops into anything else! Opens like Bruno Banani Magic Man with subtle differences. Slightly better than that but still nothing all that special. I get undertones of something good but thats probably just the washing detergent from my t-shirt? Based off that, I'd avoid the whole line to be honest. Defo younger crowd scent, safe and probably teenage girl friendly so if you're 15-21 it's perfect. If you're not, you don't need to satisfy your curiosity with this. Save your money for something else. 4/10

Nothing to celebrate with this fragrance. It smells like someone who celebrated too hard and now reeks of their own urine. It really does stink like stale urine. No detectable tonka or cacao It smells very sour, dirty and balsamic. It's really bad, not appealing at all. It's cheap and smells cheap. Even though it's cheap, don't waste your money on this. My bottle is going in the trash bin.

Smells completely different on skin compared to on paper. On paper it is a dead ringer for Gaultier's Kokoriko (stron cacao note that dominates). On skin it smells completely different, no longer dominated by an overpowering dark chocolate - which fades to the background. A pleasant fragrance, and well worth a buy if you can find it for around £20. I do not find it as groundbreaking as many Youtubers state.

This is a very imaginative fragrance. The main tone for this is ultra sweet. Yet this sweetness is different from sweetness from other sweet fragrances like Angel's Share: It has some powdery floral scent and very milky (or cacao based on the official note) scent to make it warm but also kinda cool. The bottle also looks great, I like the shaker idea.

Not really digging the opening. It starts out a bit like Lattafa Qued al Fersan the square black & gold bottle with the horse, that pineapple u smell in that frag is just like the opening in Pepe Celebrate. But that doesn't last for more than 5 min then the dry down is very nice!

So, first impression was...Versace Dylan Blue and CH 212 VIP Men combined. Anyone get the same?
