What Quasar by Jesus Del Pozo was supposed to smell like. Piney, aromatic frag overall; I imagine the feminine/juvenile notes that clash with the typically masculine barbershop profile are a play on - dad/wife relationship, the femininity that rubs off on being loved by more delicate - daddy/sugar-baby relationship, where the feminine/younger notes are in juxtaposition to the older person in the relationship likely smelling of something older/timeless and the younger one smelling of something “less serious” It’s very unique, and one of the longest lasting of the house. I think a lot of this houses frags are built on an imaginary person, or trope, or relationship the perfume might had experienced. Consuming this house I think it’s best to split the difference in the scent story; Daddy would smell great on someone who’s going to relate to both ends of either scenario, it’s a masculine fragrance for a man who can embrace aspects of femininity or for a woman who’s femininity hasn’t been sacrificed to make way for something in life.

My partner loves this. It’s very similar to Marrakech intense from aesop but without the rose. This is not a sweet fruity fragrance. I would not go into it expecting that. It has real nuance.
