G*ddamit. This is on the list now. I love it so much. Im a bit confused by the reviews that focus on one element in particular. For me, the opening is 1:1:1 pear, clay, iris. With Musk to serve as a backbone and flesh the whole thing out. So simple, and absolutely stunning. This juicy pear drives it ever so slightly in the feminine direction, but by and large this is a unisex beauty. Was expecting this to be much more dusty and cold than it is- the pear was a brilliant choice, breathing life into the scent so that the clay feels alive, wet. Sillage and longevity are not as big as Id like, but in reality I think that the best perfumes are often like that, leaving you wanting more. This one definitely causes a greed in me. Neutral, grounding, elemental, and conjures up the image of quiet pottery studio. This is a personal scent - Just for my own enjoyment. On showered, clean skin, ready for bed, I’m reminded that my body is artful. Like, I’m the porcelain, you know? PS. My friend said it reminds her of a wicker basket. ohhhhh this the the one pure kaolin clay powder loveliness super 1:1 haven't found a powdery scent so soft like i don't see how this perfume could give even the most sensitive person a headache the notes are perfection this is what i've been looking for and didn't even know

i love love love this one. the clay is very strong but it warms up on my skin. its earthy without being too green or fresh which i love. i need the full bottle so bad.

The first time I wore it, I kept lifting my wrist - not because it was loud or complex, but because I couldn't quite work out what I was smelling. Most perfumes resolve into something you can name. A flower, a fruit, a sweetness with a reference point. This didn't. It just held its shape and waited. Ripe pear first, but immediately trapped inside something mineral - not aquatic, not metallic. Mineral like wet stone or dust on a warm surface. The sweetness is there but frozen, petrified inside a pale chalky frame. Someone compared it to nail polish remover once, and I understand why - volatile, airy, slightly unsettling, but not unpleasant. More like the edge of something than the thing itself. Then the fruit steps back, and clay comes through. Not garden earth, not mud. Porcelain clay. Kaolin powder. The smell of an artist's hands before the vessel exists. A bowl of pears left untouched on a windowsill in a room sealed against late August heat. Sun-warm palm pressed against cold stone. White and smooth and suspended. Iris and musk appear later, but those words feel approximate. They don't behave like iris or musk in any conventional sense. More like fossilised versions of themselves - altered, quieter, stripped of anything recognisable. Dust drifting through a single beam of afternoon light. Skin cooling in the shade after hours in the sun. Cool sheets against warmth that hasn't fully left the body. Then it retreats. Folds inward, closer and closer to skin, until it's almost impossible to separate from your own scent. I remember pressing my wrist to my nose, convinced it had gone. It hadn't. It just stopped projecting. Stopped announcing. Started inhabiting instead. Hours later, traces surface unexpectedly - powdery musk catching the air in small movements, like light catching the edge of a ceramic surface in a quiet room. This is where people divide. Some call it masterful restraint. Others find it frustratingly weak. Both are accurate, and neither is wrong. If you measure a fragrance by projection or longevity, this will disappoint. But evaluating Porcelain that way misses the point entirely. It was never built for the room. It's a still life. Clay drying in silence. The last heat of summer held in a closed space. It doesn't evolve - once it settles, it stays there, static, unwavering. For some, that'll feel linear. For me, it felt grounding. Like returning to the same room at different times of day and noticing how the light changes, something that never actually moved. In a world of fragrances built to dominate - sweet, loud, expansive - this one chooses intimacy over everything else. It's a difficult recommendation because of it. Some will wear it and wonder where it went. Others will wear it and feel it become part of them. It was never meant to be the finished sculpture. It's the clay itself - quiet, unresolved, waiting for skin and warmth to give it shape. Vibe: Kaolin dust, petrified fruit, pale mineral light. A room holding the last of summer. Performance: Intimate and skin-close from early on - retreats rather than fades. Traces linger longer than you expect once you stop looking for them. Fit: You wear this when you're not performing anything - when the only person who needs to know what you're wearing is close enough to find it themselves. The pear note in this one is nice, followed by a floral note (the iris), and clay. It's fairly true to its name, and I do like the scent overall. I would say the projection is lacking quite a bit, but other than that it's nice. 7/10

I wouldn't consider this floral-fruity at all. Appropriately named, it's squarely a clay-inspired, powdery scent. It reminds me of hardware stores like Home Depot or Floor & Decor where you can smell the brick, cinderblocks, and tiling options all in the air. The cosmetic powderiness of iris translates into a general dustiness. The brief for this one was a "a still-life of late summer" and I think it needs a big juicy element to communicate the summer feeling. I wonder what it would've been like if the pear note was amped up 10x. This is coming across as a one-note fragrance... a soli-floor tile, if you will.

Source English Major is this EXACT TWIN minus the marshmallow and book glue nose burn. They are twins. I’m actually upset cause I wanted porcelain to really give a cold clay vibe but it’s giving old library. If you can, go for coquette as she is a juicy gorgeous passionfruit. Wmdnnightstand is also a beautiful clean chic one. If you don’t have English major then sure go ahead. Structurally though they are the same and I should have peeped that but you live and learn smdh.

When you spray it, first you smell a waft of nail poilish remover, which within minutes turn into just boiled rice and within minutes turn into a skin iris . It does kinda remind of clay but more like inside of a car which was out in sun!. I like it!

Falls flat and boring . I know this is a skin scent .. but this is something you have to take a huge sniff to be able to smell it. I wouldn’t be able to justify spending that kind of money on this.
