Mirra

Just tried this today and it’s wonderful! I love it because it’s structured in a way that every single note has its own time to shine, one minute it’s dark rose then chocolate, then warm vanilla then coffee then nutty praline then even a mix of jammy rose and dark chocolate, it cycles through them all and makes for an exciting experience! It’s gourmand leaning without intense sweet vanillas and would be great for moderate to cold weather, it’s on my Wishlist!

This fragrance was inspired by a type of Turkish coffees called “Mirra”. This is definitely a unisex fragrance, but for me it leans a little more masculine purely because this isn’t a very sweet fragrance. You definitely get the coffee and praline. The rose and honey mix add a slight sweetness and give a syrupy date type of scent in the background. The suede gives the fragrance a smoothness. I would say this would be great for cool or cold months, day or night. Mirra actually reminds me slightly of Jardins de Misfah, which I love and prefer, as that’s a whole lot sweeter and more to my personal taste. This is still a great fragrance though, just not quite sweet enough for me. If you’re not a fan of really sweet fragrances and want a unique coffee scent with a twist, or loved Jardins de Misfah but found it too sweet, this is for you! If you love sweet fragrances like me, go check out “Cherry on Top”, which is my absolute favourite Perestish fragrance and no.1 in my collection currently. I’d also recommend “Cosy Vanilla” which is another love for me.

This does bare a striking resemblance to Vivamor - Ultimate Aphrodisiac, however this one is less chocolate and more nutty spicy. Gorgeous scent nevertheless. Very sweet nutty syrupy coffee scent.

Strong coffee smells pretty similar to others.
