La La Love

This is such a gorgeous perfume. Ive had it for a couple of months now i think it is better suited to fall and winter and early spring. Summer is just to hot. Well blended scent, no real sweetness. Sexy for sure!! I have received many compliments, family and a couple of strangers. Longevity and sillage are excellent. So very expensive though. I blind bought this, I do not recommend doing that, due to the high price tag. I just got lucky and loved it. It was a nail biter wondering why in the world I would have done such a thing!!!!

Bought the sample set and ultimately purchased the full size of LA LA LOVE. It's decadent. Vanilla, boozy, smoky, ambery...and lasts for hours and hours. I can still smell it on my wrist the morning after spraying. The smoked amber comes through early, even though it is a base note. Vanilla is the note that stays strong. This is a grown-up vanilla - rich and luscious. I don't get musk or tea at all. The fragrance is pricey (too pricey), but they will email a 15% coupon when you sign up for the mailing list.

I got a sample of La La Love about three weeks ago, and since then I've worn it about a dozen times.The first hour of wearing LLL is a bit of a chore. There's a slightly burnt-plastic note (looking at you, saffron) that hovers over my wrist, like LA's trademark smog. But then, about half an hour later, the smog lifts, and what's revealed is a warm, nutty, gourmand-adjacent amber that feels like sunshine on bare skin. EDIT: If anyone has thoughts on the oil vs the perfume, I'd love to hear them!

Absolutely beautiful. This is a rich, cozy scent that's no too heavy or cloying for daytime wear. It's a little sweet, but certainly not overdone. I find the notes to be well-blended. That said, I do pick up the saffron and cognac (which I love) and the dry-down is a luscious amber that is quite addictive to my nose.

Love La la love. I had to order it from Parfumehead in LA and paid extra for delivery to Europe, but was worth it. You can not buy this fragrance in Europe, and you can not even order it online. Unique fragrance.

A less screechy Drunk Lovers with more character and intimate texture. Soft, warm, and intoxicating. Mass appealing DNA that will smell different than everyone else. 8.5/10

Gorgeous, sweet and plush! I love the addition of spice but it slowly melts away as the wear time goes on. This is THE scent you reach for in cold weather.

a beautiful and intimate vanilla, though i'd describe it as the night of rather than the morning after? absolutely insane pricing– i'd only buy a 30ml for special occasions.

I used to make applesauce in the slow cooker with lots of vanilla extract - it would cook for hours as the apples broke down and caramelized. This scent brought me back to the smell of opening that crock pot. Cognac can give a baked apple vibe, so even though apple isn't listed, I think that's where that feeling is coming from. It goes in a direction similar to Angel's Share, but without the spices.

Where’s the vanilla? At first sniff, this leans heavily into boozy territory—the kind of perspiration and alcohol smell you catch when someone’s had one too many, and been dancing too much. As it dries down, the incense takes center stage, but doing little to rescue the missing vanilla. Incense is what I get in the dry down. It’s somewhat reminiscent of Guerlain’s Spiritueuse Double Vanille, but not close enough to be a dupe. If you love SDV, you might appreciate this, but don’t expect that warm vanilla hug—because it’s just not here. If you’re ready to splurge on a truly beautiful vanilla, skip this and go straight to Guerlain’s Vanille Planifolia—nobody captures vanilla’s elegance better than Guerlain. Or, if you crave a touch of rum done right (not boozy), try Roja’s Lost in Paris, so you smell intoxicating in the good way—not like your drunk uncle after a night out, which, unfortunately, is the vibe La La Love gives off.

This is cognac and saffron and woods. I don't get the vanilla until the deep drydown, and even then it's not very strong. Dislike.

Smells a pit like sweet tabacco, plastic, and cat piss.

Brown sugar, dripping molasses, vanilla, cognac...woods. It is a bomb of sweet and woody notes, like a mix of Angels Share and Spiritueuse Double Vanille with some oud. I don't think it's bad at all but for me is kind of boring because I already have too many scent in that genre. It is intense and long lasting. Very well done. If I had fewer scents with this profile I would feel tempted to buy a full bottle.

For me, the opening is reminiscent of Kilian's Angel's share and the dry down lands pretty close to YSL's Babycat. It underperforms for an extrait (parfum strength). Overall, a very pleasant fragrance. The price point is high (comparable to Tom Ford's Private Blend collection). Because I have full bottles of Angel's share and Babycat, I won't be purchasing La La Love.

Gorgeous jammy amber perfume. Super strong and so well blended. I get a pear or apple note at the beginning that reminds me of Ambre narguile. There’s also a bit of spice but the labdanum and amber and woods in the drydown take this to a whole new level.

Maple syrup candy-- the traditional, New England kind-- is made by pouring maple syrup into a pot and boiling it down. As the syrup boils and reduces down, it has this pungent, almost alcoholic maple smell. This perfume smells like that. 25/10

Pear scented incense and non gourmand vanilla, non screechy saffron and clean modern amber. If Angels Share is too sweet or feminine for you, this will be a perfect alternative. Super long lasting, excellent quality.

It is not a very pleasant perfume in my opinion. Not my taste at all. Saffron and woods are very prominent and it has an unpleasant sweetness. It has the worst elements of Angel share and Side Effect.
