Soap

This is one of the most gorgeous clean fragrances I’ve ever smelled. Don’t let the blast of aldehydes in the beginning deter you....they dissipate quickly leaving behind an elegant, fresh, expensive bar soap scent. As you move further into the drydown, you get a little more floral and creamy sweetness but never too much. It’s blended to perfection and I get compliments every single time I wear it. On that point I need to disagree with those calling it a skin scent. I’ve had people standing 4-5 feet away from me asking what I’m wearing, so it may be that others are just going anosmic to it. It also lasts all day for me. An absolute must for anyone who loves a high quality soap scent.

It is a very gentle fragrance with a good staying power. And if you spray it on your clothes it stays there indefinitely. Ambrox is there but it’s not as powerful as in all other skin scents. You can sense most of the other notes through. A masterpiece tgat is blended to perfection. I only wish it wasn’t a limited release. Hopefully it will stay in Perfumer H library forever.

As others have said, it’s a very light skin-scent. The brand themselves say the intention is for it to be ‘weightless, invisible’ - It’s nice, but when paying this price i think most people would want more from a scent than invisiblility.

I heard a review on gram saying “ it’s like your favorite fuzzy sweater “ . I agree. It’s a skin/sweater scent in a good way. It is clean but not in a way like laundry-clean thanks to its spices. I’ve been looking at this review awhile and trying my best to describe this.. all I can think of is: “ you’re on the sofa, on a rainy day. Under a blanket wearing your favorite fuzzy sweater. Reading a book and just relax. “ The perfume doesn’t scream, it’s a skin scent. But I think that’s a good thing.. I’d like it less if it had massive projection. This does also mean that the price tag is far beyond I’d like to have spend on it...

Very nice high end soapy skin scent. Good longevity but no projection after the first 15 mins but that was the brief for this as it was advertised as a skin scent. Beautiful and clean luxury bar of soap meets fresh linen with some brightness from smooth aldehydes, light orange blossom on a warm base of tonka, sandalwood and cardamom. Not heavy on the ambroxan which was nice as I hate that note in excess. I can appreciate it but it was too soft wearing for my liking.

Very light skin scent, but an overall nice clean-girl soapy musk scent. Very pretty. Smells like you have your just freshly washed fuzzy sweater on and your whole house has just been cleaned and your cozied up on the couch. Not sure it’s worth it for how light wearing it is.
