Samba for Men

I remember buying this when it first.came out around 1991 and was impressed with the understated, brooding nature of this fragrance. It has a strong, subtle, and earthy bergamot, floral, and cedar blend that reminds one of a hug wrapped in mahogany. There is an underlying Irish Spring-type freshness. This is so spectacular that I began trying all of the Samba fragrances. Each one combines a particular type of wood, a particular type of floral note, and a musk or spicy tone. They are getting harder to find, and that is a sad thing. Sometimes people tend to dismiss these because of the lower price, but I have found them to be very well blended.

A very distinctive fragrance, that distances itself from the crowd. Evokes strong emotions of wanting to be with an attractive female sexual partner, perhaps because it stimulates my androgenic impulses (it is not overtly masculine, but rather unisex). It is floral, fruity, & airy (but the air is heavy). Samba for Men reminds me of Escada Sentiment Pour Homme or Beyond Paradise for Men.

This perfume is one of the most underrated parfums to date, with all this I have to say that this one is one of my favorites, very sweet but masculine. I recomend this fragrance widely.

This is a perfect blend. I layer it up to 2 times after each spray dries to last throughout the day. Also smells great if you spray on your clothes. Very fresh. I'm wanting to move on to try other fragrances. I have half of a bottle if anyone is intested in trading. I keep it in a cool dry space so it remains to it's potency. It was purchased a few years ago..

This has been in My collection for a long time 1993 to be exact.My secret spring casual day scent.vintage bottles are alot better but for the money today's juice is good enough.this are very underrated fragrances that do the job with great complements.My eight years old favorite fragrance.

this fragrance was over my expectations!! , really nice smell, i can highly recommend this, it smells more expensive than it is! but the lasting is very poor! overall 6/10, much because of the longevity! if i only put points on the scent its a 8,5/10

I just had to buy this as it was so cheap and the reviews here were quite posetive and i agree with everyone, great frag for the price to bad the longvity and projection is not better.

Don't underestimate this fragrance. This is a good spicy and herbal fragrance that women always like it.

I remember stealing this from JC Penny in H.S. I really loved this scent.

Lighten up a basic fougere and add enough freesia to give it a 'fresh" vibe. That's about it. I don't get much ylang ylang nor much of a base. I guess it's good for teen boys, or even girls. Uninspired and utilitarian, but certainly inoffensive.

I’ve never tried anything from this brand, I’m put off by the look of the bottles. I know it’s shallow but these have the appearance of something that wouldn’t seem unappropiate, quivering, glistening and plopping out of a satisfied orifice.

Samba line was ahead of it's time back in the early 90s. They were making fragrances that could also be used as pleasure corks. Truly einsteins of our time

Samba, bought it, try it, and love it. its like no other, masculine but not offensive... =)
