This is an incredibly photorealistic experience. Without reading the notes I smelled it over about 15 minutes and my thoughts were "It smells like I am on the beach, it's a summer morning with a breeze from the water. I'm lying on a towel, smothered in sunscreen, and I can slightly smell the dryness of the sand...something sweet too, do I have lollies?" (Pineapple Lumps are a fave sweet here). Then I read the notes - this is the first time I smelled exactly what was written and intended. Incredible scent experience.

Realistic beachy perfume both fresh with sea notes but also a little sweet with the piña colada notes. Reminds me of Sailing Day and beach walk by MM mixed togheter

This smells like a softly soapy clean scent- not like the typical soapy..this one is milder in that regard. it smells watery and fresh. Easy non-offending scent and unisex. Either the longevity is somewhat weak OR I'm going nose blind to this one, which could very well be the case.

one of many realistic beach scents that make me too nostalgic to ever own (although id KILL for a sort of "sanfransisco bay chic" , something with notes of trash and rotted wood , possible gasoline mixed in ? a rank ocean stank . i was curious about secretion magnifique, but upon furst smell i was disapointed , no ocean , just clean pool chlorine and NUT !! the sea often smells rancid but sm is this almost fresh , bone chilling rancid , like some sort of hellish ocean iodine that comes out of a sea monster penis . still delightfully disgusting but NOT THE DISGUSTING I WANT. even the perfume this review is actually about fails to capture my idea of seaside stink , although i think its quite ...) magnificent . a perfect , fresh beach scent . i dont really get much sweetness , its all crushed iceplant (really common on the rocky california beaches im familiar with) and misty air . i don't find this especially "salty" , but thats sort of pleasant . when i think of the smell of the picturesque santa barbara beach i played at as a kid , this scent comes to mind . i find that the development was relatively linear , prviding a consistent waft of beach air . , i find it almost disturbing to smell like this , as if the warmth of my body has disolved into water . i agree with the reviewer who likened the to secretion magnifique , its by no means the same scent , but this is a far kinder take (at least to the average sniffer) on eldo's bodily expose . if secretion magnifique is the water as a bodily fluid , than this is the ocean as a body : angular but refined, confusing but consistent, comforting & singular .

The calone is very obvious in this one, and to me at least that gives this fragrance a nostalgic feel - throwing me back to the colognes of the 90s. However, there's also an interesting bitter-herbal twist in there from the mate, and an almost waxy, honeyed-animalic element from the ambretone. I don't think it's exceptional, but it's nice enough, and the composition at least speaks to some effort on the perfumer's part. To me, it smells almost like an extremely distant relative of Sécrétions Magnifiques - very watered down, with all the difficult bits sanded away, but there's a kinship in the association of aquatic, vegetal, animalic and resinous-sweet notes. Again, this is most definitely not a dupe of SM (I'm not even sure how you would go about making that), there's just a hint of shared DNA that speaks to an influence that's probably mostly unconscious. Not bad, but not great either.

It is a very clean tasty watery light scent.All three fragrances of Perfum Sucks are unique and delicious to me. I think the perfumer has down a great job cuz they smell really good and natural
