RED 198C

The top and middle reveal no wood to me - what it does reveal is bright, zingy. This is a wonderfully fruity scent, lilly of the valley coming in strong and feminine. I thought it was more masculine leaning due to the strength of the citrus at the outset but this has now leaned more feminine, in short another olfactory journey and a beautiful scent to smell unfolding. This would suit summer and spring so well, but I am wearing it in winter and it is like a ray of sunshine in the greyness, a promise of the summer to come and reminder that time passes, life will be warm and rendolent with the scent of oranges again soon. I highly recommend this as an antidote to the winter blues. This is very inoffensive, long lasting, sure to please many people. A good introduction to this wonderful house.

I don't know what it is about this perfume, but I really love it. It's sweet without being overpowering, it smells classy and feminine. It's last longing on my skin and it feels so nice after a shower, it gives you a refreshing feeling.

Easily my favorite from this designer. The citrus, and woody scent is intoxicating. I find myself unconsciously opening the cap of my sample just to smell it. Lasts a very long time on my skin as well.

I think this one is the most classically perfume-y of the bunch; there's a cosmetic aspect to it that makes me think of lightly-scented hair pomade. It's warm, soft, and a little bit waxy, with a clean, sweet lemon threaded through wave after wave of Iso E Super. I don't have much to say against it, but I'm also not head-over-heels for it; "it's fine" would probably be the most accurate way for me to describe how I feel about Red. Your personal reaction will probably be dependent on how well you tolerate (and how much you like) Iso E Super.

Bright, clean, citrus. This is one of my favorites from the color fragrance line. Of all of the ones that I've tried so far (blue, green, yellow,black, red), this seems to be the most pleasant to my nose. It's also most evenly unisex, whereas I thought some of the others leaned a bit masculine. Red actually reminds me of another fragrance, but for the life of me I can't think of what it is right now! I'll update this post if I can figure out what it smells similar to.

I like the philosophy of this brand. And the pink one is a sweet lovely scent,very delicious.

ISO E dominant aftershave-esque smell. The citrus is nicely blended and isn't too stingy. It seems to share notes with the tangy rhubarb cologne I have from Jo Malone—I think it's the blend of woods and sour rhubarb/red berries. It was masculine upon first sniff, but I can see this being a unisex scent. This is also one of the first perfumes I've seen on Fragrantica that has been rated as a 4-seasons-'round scent...and honestly, I agree!

perfectly acceptable , but to me quite yucky - no wood to speak of either . extremely surprised to find a scent so "average" from this house . you could probably put some lemon oil on a dryer sheet & rub it on ur skin for a similar effect . bright lemon hits you first , balanced out w powder and a "fresh linen" type texture , ,,, spraying it on your skin smells like clothing with the scent on it . as a small kid my mother scrubbed ever inch of our already-too-neat house with lemon cleaner & now smelling it feels like being forced "under control" & personaldispleasure . not 4 me !!

Okay fragrance but too masculine fo me. I get a lot of citrus in this fragrance. Not for me.
