Decadent Memories

This is a beautiful fragrance. Easily unisex. It morphs quickly on my skin in an exciting way. First spray is buttery baked sweets. Then comes the deeper notes like the sandlewood and musk. The fruit continuously goes from the background to the foreground, then back again. Then I get a whiff of incense in there. I feel like this one screams autumn (but definitely wear it whenever you want). I can imagine getting a whiff of baked goods and lit fireplaces in the air while picking apples in a small cottage town. I got a sample and now I want a full bottle.

It’s about time they added this, it’s been out for a while. This is the best blueberry fragrance on the market today. This fragrance made me realize that fragrances like bond no.9 bleaker street has a trash blueberry note and was garbacci. This fragrance made me realize there is real quality in fragrances still and there are no excuses for bad synthetic smelling frags. Strong performance and Sillage. 10/10.

This is a lovely, feminine but sophisticated perfume. I typically like spicy or smokey oriental vanillas but the balance to the fruit of the other elements here gives this just enough of an edge and smoothness that I don't feel like I am wearing a cherry bomb, for example. It is rich, velvety and soothing. If you want to add one fruity floral to your collection, this should be it.

My absolute favorite Gourmand and I have a collection of over 1500 bottles. This one is absolutely amazing to the point where I have a bub because I can never imagine being without it. It is a warm blueberry and cherry pastry baking in the kitchen with your grandma. Sweet but done oh so good.

Imagine Jany but better! This is my favorite blueberry fragrance ever. It's giving baked blueberry pie, it's so so good. I have a back up bottle as well.

Decadent Memories isn’t a sugar-bomb or a pastry tantrum. Yes, it sits in the same neighbourhood as Rabbit, but where Rabbit is a full-on, butt-gluing carrot cake loaded with sugar and spice, DM is Rabbit on low volume — softer, gentler, much more restrained. Think homemade sponge cake with a heavy hand on the fruit: blackcurrants, blueberries, a touch of apple. It smells exactly like what the brand describes — a pie just pulled from the oven and left on the windowsill to cool. The sponge is soaked through, juicy and warm. The sweetness is calm and rounded, not tooth-rotting. The tartness of blackcurrant keeps everything in check, while vanilla and tonka quietly hold the structure together. No stickiness, no dessert aggression. The base is clean and thankfully light on ambroxan (which I can’t stand when it’s overdone). Cozy, comforting, very “mom’s kitchen / grandma’s house” energy. The trade-off is performance: average longevity, soft sillage, it stays close to the skin. But here’s the real win: people absolutely melt for this scent. Because it’s not trying to impress anyone with niche gymnastics. It just says, “come closer — it’s warm, it smells good, and it feels easy.”

It does not smell like I envisioned. But I was hoping it would smell like a pastry and it does! Exactly like a puff pastry, with some complex and not so obvious single flavour filling. Like some marzipan custard cream, some berry jelly... Very unique and tasty, yet not overly food-like. Not too buttery or heavy/cloying , in case that concerns you. Lasts well, but isn't a beast mode.

Scrumptious! A sexy dessert. A baked good with edge. A pop star gone bad.

Ah yes, the rebellious fruit that bites back like a berry with attitude and a vendetta. Last fall, I was in Portland on “business” (read: eating carbs professionally) and decided to pilgrimage down to Willamette Valley for an afternoon of wine and regret. I had my first blackcurrant wine at Honeywood Winery while absolutely obliterating a caramel bread pudding like it owed me money. It was transcendent. I rolled out of that restaurant like Divine in a polyester gown, praying the seatbelt in my rental Kia Soul could contain the drama. And that’s exactly how I imagine this fragrance smells: bold, juicy, decadent, and just a little bit scandalous. Like it might slap me silly and call me Sally. Even worse, I would probably thank it afterwards.

I bought the sample, because $200~ for the full bottle was crazy. This is probably the longest lasting fragrance I've ever used. I sprayed some on a t-shirt that I left on my bed, and I could still smell it when I put the shirt on five days later. A pastry accord isn't listed but it comes through. This is a warm, sweet, bakery gourmand. It represents a bakery gourmand with sophisticated depth and layers. I just wish it weren't so pricey. I'd just rebuy the sample or look for a dupe before going for that full bottle, even though such a thing would probably last years.

This one is an odd ball and if you’re willing to roll it go for it, the first initial spray on your body chokes you fully. Idk if it has been changed by my bottle I bought awhile ago fully chokes me on the first spray so I go super light with this. Smell wise 1000/10 but doesn’t last more than like 4 hours cuz of the notes being mashed in there and not well organized. It may last longer on you and they could of changed the spray strength but it’s up to you icl.

Ughh I love it. A delicious berry pie but its not at all one note. There's depth to it. I smell the cedar in the base which helps to ground it and keep it from being cloying. I can also smell the crust which really helps turn it into "pastry" and not just fruit. So beautiful.
