Grange

While I consider Perfumology's initial and highly-regarded release, Blyss, as inherently a bit feminine-leaning, my default stance toward fruity/floral-dominant fragrances, the shop's second release, Grange, is clearly a unisex fragrance. Orange and lime for me create an opening that is as green as it is typically-citrus-intensive. The dry down is where the magic happens, though, as the fig and tobacco become predominant. I generally haven't connected well with fig-laden fragrances, as much as I've wanted to embrace them (like Yesterday Haze by Imaginary Authors, for one) but in Grange I find the blend of the fig and tobacco to be one of contradiction working well. The tobacco tempers the quirkiness of the fig and the fig adds some sweetness to the tobacco. The oak and cedar in the heart provide the woody roots of the fragrance that anchor it further in a real outdoorsy feel. Even with its sweet and woody side, Grange for me feels like more of a fragrance I would wear outdoors in warmer weather, or perhaps as a comfort fragrance of sorts. Grange, like Blyss, is a great value for an extrait de parfum, at $85 for 50ml, and it's nice to know one is getting dense juice even if it's (deliberately) not a projection monster. 8 out of 10

This is a truly beautiful creation inspired by Nir's childhood memories and similar to my own in ways so of course I was drawn to this scent. It opens very strong with the citrus notes definitely noticeable from across the room but then shortly begins to ease back more into a very enjoyable bubble that surrounds you the rest of the day. I forget about it but then as I'm walking across the room or doing something I catch a little wisp of it and a smile comes across my face as I notice the delightful fizziness and woody vibes which are surrounding me...The longevity is amazing and additional note on the strength of this juice, I sprayed my first test of it on my wrist and then after doing dishes and cooking dinner for my family I could still smell this beauty radiating off of my wrist! I'm wearing it for the second time as I'm writing this and finding it so enjoyable and highly recommend giving this one a try, you will be glad that you did!

This one truly surprised me. I ordered Precious Liquid Sangria Oak from Perfumology and they sent me a sample of Grange. I just tossed it to the side as an after thought. Never heard anyone talk about nor was I aware of it. One day I saw it and just decided to test it out and it was a love for me as soon as the scent hit my nose. Typically, I’m not a fan of fig but this fragrance smells so clean. It reminds me of a luxury soap or lotion. Of my 200+ collection, I don’t have anything that smells like this

Yes. Banger. I grew up around Philly and it smells like growing up around Philly just like the description says. Must have smelled myself a thousand times by now and I sprayed it like 7 hours ago. Very stoked to wear this around. Not sweet so much but the tobacco and the green from the fig give smoking in the woods, as is the intention. The bottle and cap are also much different than what is pictured here. Much more unique and high quality now.

An exhilarating unisex scent that, for me, is like a forest scented champagne with slices of lime. Initially it seems sort of simple and fresh but the complexities are hidden discoveries within the layers. Versatile fragrance, I could see it as super casual and formal at the same time. Fresh that isn’t boring, with a unique twist. Something about it is a bit addictive and puts me in a good mood. Really good stuff.

Oooooh, this is something... Never really smelled anything similar before. It does remind me of Cola-Cola as many have said below. It doesn't smell synthetic, you can tell good quality oils were used in this formulation. Grange has depth and layers, and it has an addictive quality. Very unisex/gender-neutral. I think this would shine best in the fall or winter, even though it is not strongly spicy or woody.

This smells like autumn to me. The fig is very controlled in how it smells and it quite strong! This is a great scent if you're looking for something unique. I definitely recommend smelling this especially if you really like Fig. I also like how the tobacco is represented in the mid notes. It is really nice!

Like walking out of a steam room sauna in a fancy spa! Deep breathing, and taking in all the delicate and beautiful but kind of damp aromas!!!!! This was love at first sniff. Almost a hotel lobby fragrance, I mean that with the up most air of compliments.

This is one of my all time favorites. Simple and inoffensive but still very unique, perfect for all seasons and settings. Signature worthy and extremely underrated. Really really good.

For me, bright and fruity with an almost incense smell at times. Lasts plenty. Very good!

I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this, but Grange really smells like Coca Cola with lime to me. Something about the sweet fig, tobacco, and woody notes just meld together to create the unique smell of Coke, with that added fresh lime twist. It smells great. It's very sweet, so just because this says "for men" don't think that it's masculine. It's funny, I was wearing this and my husband thought that I smelled like watermelon - I think the fruity fig/lime combination can come off like a sweet summer watermelon vibe. Grange lasts forever on me, and projects too. I don't know, on my skin it really doesn't smell like a crumbling teenage hideout of a house. It smells zingy and summer bright, with plenty of tobacco and woods to give it depth. So far, everything from Perfumology has just been A+ and unique!

I agree with the comments about cigarette and spilled beer being part of this scent though it never would have occurred to me to describe it that way. The fruit is lovely. The wood is nice. Many people aren’t getting the tobacco scent but I perceive a really mild hint. Like you stepped into the room where your grandpa hides his pipe tobacco, which he’s not supposed to be using... it’s in there somewhere but you’d have to search a bit for it. This seems like a scent for any outdoor activity—farmer’s market—check. Hiking or biking—check. Fire pit and socializing—totally. Sadly I’m not getting anything near the longevity that others are raving about here. On one wearing, it was gone in an hour but I’m going to try overspraying a bit and see.... Would not buy a bottle but very happy I sampled it.

Very clean, green scent. Reminds me of Irish Spring but isn't soapy. I don't really get any tobacco, and I think maybe the note should be "fig leaf" instead of "fig" because I'm also not getting any fig. Not a "love" right now, but I'm willing to try it a few more times to see if it grows on me. Longevity is fantastic.

sweet grassy and green in the top with a weird note then almost gourmand; as it dries down, it is fig leaf without the sharpness, sweet and rounded, like walking through meadows and streams; I don't get any tobacco

Rubber ducks, foam in water, bubbles, dove shampoo (the white one), jergens hand moisturizer, hotel clean shower vibes, vacation/esque, white clothes, and sticking your face into a nondescript white flower.

I’m back to give the scent what it deserves, more love and respect. I said I probably won’t buy but on testing again I have to revise that. I need it in my collection

Maybe this was big in the past, but now this is mid. The initial spray is kinda ginger ale like but this transitions quickly and stays a mid tobacco and wood scent. There is nothing fig about this.

Big time lime and orange notes in the opening, very distinctive. On dry down I get a little bit of the fig with more tabbaco. A spicy woodiness to it.

I don't get the notes that are listed for this fragrance, and I find it a bit hard to describe. On paper this comes across very woody. On my skin it's more floral, watery, slightly fruity (as in fresh watery fruit), and there are woods but they are light...I'm guessing it's the oak that's coming across. It's a bit powdery, and in the far dry down slightly creamy. I get no fig, except for perhaps the slight creaminess in the far dry down. I also get no tobacco. I see that fragrantica has this for men, but this is completely unisex. This isn't a bad fragrance, but not my style and a pass for me.

The opening of this fragrance is SO wonderful, but I just cannot get past that tobacco note that ruins it for me
