Intoxicating, mysterious, spicy, ambery, I agree that there is something so familiar with this fragrance. I'm a woman and I can't wear male fragrances, so to me this is just unisex, not as "super male" as listed above, so don't be scared to sample this. You will stand out for sure if you're going to wear this. I see it in the evenings, with some long coat, walking as very determined, strong man/woman, bringing so many life experiences inside, but at the same time very quiet, gracious, refined, fearless. It's an older brother/sister of the perfume "The Pharmacist" by Fumparfum.

This is a scent of a dominant man. I would love someone smelling like this to pull me closer, grab my neck and tell me to be a good girl. I find it similar to Dark Lord, especially a drydown, but not smoky as DL. It is sharp and smooth at the same time. I do get leather and animalic notes, a touch of tobacco and sweet vanilla on a dry woody base.

Masar is a strong and powerful fragrance oozing with masculinity. Definitely not a safe blind buy for many and I could see why it would be off putting for some but I love it. It's a little bit spicy and you definitely get hints of sweetness and vanilla but it's more tobacco and wood.

I'm a fan! There's something very familiar about this scent. At the same time there's something foreign and exotic about it. Aptly named perfume in my opinion. "Path", it draws you in with comfort and beckons you forward into the unknown to new experiences. Fabulous work.

So strong! So sweet, with a slight animalic vibe... Warm amber, tobacco and vanilla. Lovely lovely scent. Like a bomb. Honey bomb. Smells similar to Killian back to black but better. Much better.

It’s weird that I get a fresh eucalyptus note... but other then that a lovely soft leather and wood. Longevity 8/10 Projection 6/10 Love 8/10t

Pernoire's perfumes has a good quality and they are blended really nicely. Masar is not an exception. This scent has very intriguing notes and it looks like it could be challenging but it's very pleasant and versatile. Not even one note stands out above the others but you can smell them seamlessly intermingled. Labdanum and leather are soft and tender. Spices are not pungent but hidden instead. Honey, Tobacco and Vanilla are creating a beautiful, a little bit sweet core where honey is not sticky sweet but very natural. Tobacco is not smoky nor dirty, it's like a humid gentle whiff. I don't find here any animalic notes if honey is not counted but it's maybe because I love very challenging animalics. The whole base is blended so well and the concoction is utterly harmonious. If you try to think about this smell, think that each note is as enjoyable and easy as they can and they are blended in a big bowl covered with velvety honey. Notes are very natural. The scent is bright and golden like a beautiful sunset. It is not a beast and it's suitable to wear anywhere you want but it's not like an energy booster but some kind of elixir which makes you relax and calm instead. It has an artisanal touch in it but it's not edgy or potent like many artisanal scents are. This is totally unisex. Thank you for reading, I hope my review was helpful. Sprayed on paper first and was immediately wowed by it, from first spray to 2 hours later when I returned to the strip. Unfortunately it is a little less amazing on my skin. Pretty bold, and with two half-sprays from a tester I can smell it radiating up from my arm, so performance seems like it is there. This is a pretty masculine smoky-woody-leathery fragrance with a spicy, ambery sweetness to soften the bolder notes. Slightly powdery like many of the other fragrances from this house. I get some animalics but they aren't challenging, instead I feel like they are there to expand the dimensionality of this fragrance, playing counter to the sweeter notes. Weirdly reminds me of the smell of a family member's house from when I was growing up. If this was as complex and airy on my skin as it was on the strip, I'd be obsessed, but unfortunately on my skin it collapses a bit. However, if you like complex leathers and amber this is worth checking out.

Very bold honyed wood with hints of spice first 2 hoursish. After that i get sweet vanillish woody leather that is not bold as start but noticable. The honey is faded and its a shame as im sucker for honey. Not animalic at all to me but im someone who enjoyes super animalics such as hyrax from zoologist. I thought from notes this would be one i love but it fell little shorts for me. I liked this but did not love it. I personally would give it 7/10. I dont think the price is too much if you like this but for me it would need to be half the price to justice full bottle.

Sexy, warm dirty, and pleasing to wear. Recently bought a discovery kit. This was the first on the row and I tried it. Love it. I know they have quite few ones that are top tier, can't wait to try them... but this one is amazing. It starts out animalic and sweet, like hard to describe but very complex. It is definitely masculine leaning, but so far it has impressed me!

Very interesting and quality parfum. I appreciate the art of this parfum. it is resinous,smokey,ambery,sweet with animalistic touches. I dont like animalic parfums usually but this one doesn’t disturb me. Because Animalic note is not too strong and well balanced. it feels very mysterious almost from ancient Egypt. Performance is very very good.

Develops beautifully it changes on your skin and takes you on a journey from woudsey animalic notes to more tabacco and ambery scents its a very nice journey a very short one (1-3h) but if you dont care about the price and performance its a great buy

Opens very interesting with the animalics and the yuzu contrasting very well, the sour acidic vibe is very artsy and different but unfortunately after that, the next stage of this fragrance is a run of the mill amber until the end.

Light version of Interlude Man.

got a sample of this and tried it for a few days now. to me it smells like a burnt down house mixed with dark leather. this is the definition of man. this is a beastmode perfume. it stayed on the clothes for 2 days. one spray lasts almost all day on my skin. it's a little too complex for my taste. it will be very much "up in your face" in my opinion. I would personally rate it 3/10. mainly because I don't like this kind of leather scents.

a less animalic with a little more warmth and spice compared to cuoium. IMO a lot more wearable but i am not the biggest fan of animalics. worth a try if you like that kind of thing. Longevity isnt as strong as cuoium but last 8 hours with hints of animalics up to 20 hours after spraying

The only fragrance I disliked from the pernoire's sample box. Very animalic and woody. This is not a carefully created composition. It's a bold statement of HERE I AM. It's more of a exotic room spray for your S&M adventures than a scent on a person. Odd. Hats off to you if you like this one. If you want this DNA done right, try Journey man or interlude man from Amouage. They've nailed it and its actually super pleasant to wear. Not this one, though 4/10

reminds me of a less heavy cuoium a bit more woodier but has similarities in the anamalic side

Masar Pernoire – 2/10 Starts off with an overpowering blast of alcohol that feels really harsh and low quality. The scent itself doesn’t improve much, it stays oddly synthetic and unbalanced. Not something I’d recommend at all, especially with so many better options out there.

Something is not right here. Even the animal notes scream sucrose or more so big scoop of sugar subsitute. Labdanum, cloves, honey diabetes in a vial. Same as Tierra, this too is a hard pass and instant scrub for me.

Gross, this brand is kind of nasty and cheap smelling

I really don't remember the top note that much... but the drydown is quite awful! metallic seafoam, with a touch of fishy air! it smells like a dried down swimming shorts after a long time on the beach. I really wonder what the top note was!

Where’s the animal notes everyone’s talking about? This one’s a great balsamic leathery incense scent. Great tho. But I don’t smell the animalics

Amouage interlude man without the diappery mouth drying scent. Clean, pleasant but unremarkable for the price.
