I totally agree with the reviewer below, who tried all perfumes in the discovery set and OTIMO proved to be the best of all featured scents. I had the very same experience and must confess that I bought the discovery set mostly for AMORAL, because I didn't have the courage to buy a full bottle without testing it before. Guess what: AMORAL smells ONLY like leather on me, so I am not very happy with it, therefore no chance for me to get a full bottle. But OTIMO is simply wonderful: dark, gourmand, full of mystery and secrets. I generally like tobacco and patchouli fragrances, but this one has shown me a dimension that I haven't experienced so far, mainly due to the dance between these two notes and the sweet accords. Additionally, it lasts forever on my problematic skin and projects further than I imagined (my life partner felt it from 3 meters away), so the price is pretty justified. Full bottle coming soon!

Opens with sweet and slightly tangy marzipan (praline + quince) accompanied by aromatic patchouli that has rich chocolatey nuances (patchouli is not listed here but it is on the brand's website) I don't like gourmands but i absolutely love this As it dries it gets more woody yet still same gourmand notes with aromatic tobacco and boozy rum acents Later on in the dry down cardamom really starts to peak through and the gourmand notes tone down, but there are still aromatic woods and tobacco

This is easily becoming my signature scent for the colder weather. | 100% get similarity to pdm Herod but with a strong gourmand twist, like a chocolatey and slightly boozy dessert. Performance is as good as it gets absolutely worth the price tag as the quality is top notch I'm excited to try many more from Pernoire Quality 10/10 Performance 10/10 Opening 10/10 Dry Down 9/10 Overall: 9.8/10

Hard to describe scent tbh. Sweet, Very creamy sort of chocolatey smell and kind of nutty when it dries down. This smells like someone who is not the loudest in the room but still makes the most noise. A lot of spicy cardamom from the start, sweet tobacco, bitter quince, boozyness of rum and smooth vanilla. The concept, bottle, presentation, story and name of the perfume is a 8,8/10

When I tried this scent for the first time it smelled like a beautiful sweet praline with some spicyness and light rum. But now it kinda smells like an oatmeal but in the best and most unique way possible, so edible and comforting. I think this is the best pernoire from the anima line and the second best from the house, and also the performance is pretty good. 9.4/10

This one is for the gourmand and sweet fragrances lovers. Can you get that praline,tonka ,rum and cardamom notes ? I do, and I like where this is going. After half an hour you'll get that cedarwood and osmanthus refreshing notes. Really like this one , quite unique.

A musky suede-like chocolate and tobacco. A fair dose of earthy truffles and cakey sweetness. The way they arrive at the ultimate smell/accord of tobacco is unlike most others in the genre. It has an alluring composted fruits and truffle smell baked way into the background. To me it is fairly masculine, but could work on the right confident woman too. This one threw me for a loop. My first impression was very good, then I tried it a few days later and wasn’t crazy about it. Now I am doing my third wearing for the review and I really like it again! Ultimately, I highly suggest you sample this one and wear it a few times before you make up your mind. Some fragrances really take time to appreciate. 8.4/10

Otimo by Pernoire is a luxurious gourmand from one of the most underrated houses in niche perfumery. The opening immediately brings to mind Sweetie Aoud by Roja Parfums due to the rich, patisserie-like note. But where Sweetie Auod heads to a direction I don't like, Otimo transforms into something I really like. The dry down is smoother and more addictive, like a warm, spiced cardamom karak chai. Deeply comforting and delicious, Otimo proves Pernoire is a house worth exploring. I rate it 7/10.

This is a beast. Opens up very strong and I'm looking at the notes as I'm smelling it on my hand. This has almost nothing to do with the notes. I smell a strong chesnut note, an overroasted and a bit burnt one. It also instantly reminded me of popcorn. It's a tad bit boozy, from the rum probably. So so so so strong and overpowering, it gave me a headache. It's just too much of everything for me. It reminds me of Toskovat's Generation Godard.

Tried this from the Pernoire discovery set, and Otimo is hands down my favorite. It reminds me of Angel’s Share by Kilian or Side Effect by Initio, but with a twist — the quince note adds a juicy, unexpected brightness that lifts the rich blend of rum, praline, and vanilla. Perfect for cold weather, cozy and decadent. Sadly, it’s a bit out of my budget for now, but if I could splurge on one full bottle from the brand, it would be this one.

It’s like a richer/deeper, more edible and more mature version of carolina herrera bad boy extreme to my nose, overpriced in my honest opinion but longevity and sillage is good with about 4 sprays to the neck and chest area. Smells even better in the air versus on skin and my wife absolutely loves it

this is super gourmand, like freshly baked waffle with a vanilla ice cream dripping from it, or something else from the buns section with vanilla frosting. Super edible if this is your style.

Ignore the notes. Smells like butter cookies and a tiny bit of some spiced tea with quince syrup. It's pleasant but definitely not worth over 200$.

Giving me strong vanilla/fruity tobacco rolling papers. Some sweet salty powdery notes at the beginning smelled like Poka a bit.

reminds me of ch extreme but with a more refined sweetness and with a sexy cardamom note added to the blend. my score: 8/10

Purchased the discovery set and sprayed on blotter. This fragrance has gotten a lot of attention for the gourmand lovers and I cannot help but be disappointed for how flat and uninteresting it is. Is it a good fragrance? Sure. It has that sweet, nutty, lactonic gourmand aspect like "je nais sais quoi - Teo cabanel" and "Velvet Tonka - BDK". Many other notes are quite overshadowed by the boring gourmand scent profile we have repeatedly seen. Rum note is ignorable and profoundly uninteresting, the quince does nothing special except add a hint of tart sweetness. The woody drown down is comforting, but is once again unremarkable. If this is the profile you are searching for, various other houses offer 100ml for the same price. There is quite literally no need to purchase this.

I don't get the pickle juice, luckily. But still washed it off my hand. I rarely do that. It doesn't really have an identity to me. It lingers between scents, wondering if it's too sweet or too sophisticated. It's a confusing scent, bit thrown together without a clear direction sadly. My least favourite of the house so far. The ones that I really like are Mansa, Naki and Kama being my absolute favourite.

Oh dear. Overripe fruit baked into a bready cake, soaked in a stale, nondescript alcohol. And that's just the opening. Mellows and becomes more milky chocolatey, but still... Nah Has all the right ideas, but the execution is just not great. As a fan of Anelo, and on the fence with Oudian's overly butyric Durian note, Otimo is a straight pass for me.

I don’t know what’s wrong but to me it smells like spicy homemade picked cucumbers juice. I don’t smell any of the listed notes, sadly.

Very heavy on the bakery/cinnamon accord.
