Oud Imperial Extrait

Perfume doesn't evolve as much, but it has a lot of complexity because of the multidimensionality of the 'oud and I can also tell you that it has an excellent performance! Oud Imperial Extrait is a deep, dark, ritualistic 'oud. It was created to impart an authentic sensory experience to connoisseurs of 'oud; a multifaceted 'oud not only dark and animalistic, but also elaborated in a more refined way, with a resinous and smoky trail that refers to the tradition of Middle Eastern bakhoor's. An 'oud of the highest quality and concentration has been used for those seeking the full impact of this precious ingredient. While the EDP tends to have a more open profile, with some slightly more evident backing notes in the early stages and a slightly more "modern" slant, the Extrait is more coherent and compact... The 'oud and incensed resins are more pronounced from the start, with fewer allegories and more depth. Here the dark, balsamic and resinous character is amplified: greater density is perceived, almost as if the essence were impregnated in the skin. In addition, while EDP has good longevity and a moderate presence, at Extrait it has even greater longevity and projection. This resinous aromatic composition opens with a very brief acidic aroma of lemony citrus and indole jasmine and the spiciness of cumin; the opening is subtle, almost meditative with a veil of incense that rises like silvery smoke, setting a tone of calm and elegance. Soon, the 'oud also awakens in all its facets: resinous, animalic, smoked, balsamic, dark, leathery, a warm and sweet 'oud. In this Extrait version the opening is more concentrated and less floral than in the EDP. It's like entering a cloud of soft and resinous silver incense, with a dark and earthy wood vibrating underneath, here there is use of cypriol certainly giving a dry, smoky, almost earthy effect with nuances of leather. It has a more nocturnal footprint, but it will also do well on days of mild temperatures. A delicious and beautiful perfume centered on 'oud. The 'oud has been present since the beginning of the fragrance but it is in the heart that the perfume is dominated by the sweet and smoky aroma of the 'oud, liturgical and arabesque, with an almost mystical touch of incense, spicy and earthy accords of patchouli and sweet spicy nuances of saffron complete this core. Oud Imperial Extrait: this composition is softer and more refined than the Eau De Parfum version. It conveys a sense of peace and meditation, making you feel confident and elegant. And as I said before, it works well in colder climates, especially on formal occasions. It reminded me of Stephane Humbert Lucas discontinued Oud 777, less leathery. Here, the feeling is more of a warm resin that joins the 'oud and makes it more enveloping, more balsamic. This isn't just a dry 'oud: it's an 'oud immersed in a woody lacquer that makes it shine deeply, with a dense but less intoxicated smoky touch than EDP. On its drying the fragrance reveals an overlap of woods and shadows: the dark sweet resinous ladanum maintains the amber and earthy trail, birch adds a nuance of highly evocative smoked leather, while sandalwood and cedar build a solid and creamy woody base. Vetiver dries the finish and makes it more elegant, and ambrarome provides a very modern, warm and persistent amber effect. In this version, the construction is more compact with fewer changes and evolutions, but the intensity continues. Overall, the Extrait is less dark, less textured than the EDP. It's a version that dispenses with the initial traditional light & dark of most perfumes to get straight to the point: warm resins, enveloping incense, and a deep oud, immediately present and throughout the entire evolution. The sensation is that of a denser perfume, almost oily to the nose, with fewer layers, but much more intensity. It doesn't try to seduce with elaborate openings or obvious contrasts. It works like an incense stick that burns slowly and adheres to the skin. The balsamic and resinous varnished side is dominant, the wood is dark and smoky, the 'oud is sweet, and it is not aggressive, it is deep and imposing.

خب بعد از تست سه باره ساید بای ساید دو نسخه عطر عود مونته کارلو ادوپارفوم و اکستریت د پارفوم . میخوام نظر نهائیم رو بدم حرف واسه گفتنشون زیاده و لی بطور خلاصه : عموما وقتی عطرهای مونته کارلو رو تست کنیم انقدر عطرهای ریچ و سنگینی هستند که تصور باور داشتن نسخه اکستریت کمی سخت میشه . ولی با این حال در تست ۴نسخه از اکستریت میشه به این باور رسید که مونته کارلو فرای کیفییت و جذابییت عطرهای این روزها و ارزش خرید بالا در برابر قیمت دارند. کافیه از رایحه عطرهاش خوشتون لیاد . تمام .. بقیه رو باید به عهده خود مونته بگذارید و بهش اطمینان تام داشته باشید.. . .قبل از هر چیزی بگم نوع عود بکار رفته تو این عطر مورد پسند شخصی من نیست خیلی. . در تست همزمان هر دو نسخه هر دو در شروع و تا نیم ساعت اول خیلی به هم شبیهه هستند. شروعی تلخ و گزنده با محوریت تماما عودی و به دور از ترکیبات مرسوم و عربی و حرمی اکثر عطرهای مرسوم بازار. . نسخه اکستریت بعد از نیم ساعت در حالی که اصرار به عودی بودن داره نسخه ادوپارفوم تغییر فاز میده و فضای چوبی به خودش میگیره. نسخه اکستریت روی نت عود پافشاری میکنه و قلبی فلورال داره . نسخه ادوپارفوم وجه چوبی عودی خودش رو با سافرالین و حس چرم گونه شریک میشه نسخه اکستریت بواسطه دوز بالای پچولی و لابدانوم مثل حرکات سینوسی همدیگه رو تا ساعتها تقویت میکنند و به همدیگه قدرت میدند. من تو نسخه اکستریت بوضوح حس فلزی و گس و گزنده ژرانیوم میگیریم. که تا ساعتها زیباست و مردونه. تو نسخه ادوپارفوم نت عود زود رنگ میبازه و جاشو به ترکیبات چوبی میده. من اگر جای لوکا مافی بودم حتما از دوز بالای فلفل سیاه و وتیور برای قشنگتر شدن فضای ادوپارفوم بهره میبردم ، تو نسخه اکستریت اگر ساعت سوم و چهارم تست رو در نظر بگیریم این عطر در حالی به دری داون زرینی عودی و جذاب خودش با قدرت زیاد نزدیک میشه که تقریبا شالوده و چهارچوب نسخه ادوپارفوم فرو میریزه. تقریبا بعد از ۴-۵ساعت با اسنیف های مکرر روی هر دو مچم در حالی که رایحه نفیس و زیبای نسخه اکستریت دلربائی میکنه نسخه ادوپارفوم فقط ی سایه بسیار ملایم از ترکیبات عودی وودی به نمایش میزاره. اگر از ۱۰نمره بخوام به فضای کلی هر دو عطر رای بدم ، اکستریت ۹ ادوپارفوم۵. . برای ماندگاری اکستریت ۱۰ ادوپارفوم ۳. . برای پرفورمنس و اجرا. اکستریت ۸ ادوپارفوم ۴

This is a truly gigantic, skanky, animalic oud without a rose anywhere in sight. The oud is underscored by smokey elements like labdanum, birch and a dark patchouli. The spice note in the EdP that can read to many noses as a bit body odor-ish is not here, but the leather accord caused by the interplay of the oud with saffron is present and it is good. When the dry down arrives, which takes a long, long time, an incense, resin and synthetic amber note acts as a fixative, extending the duration of the oud note into the next morning on skin and probably the next decade if you spray clothes. By the way, this juice can stain light colored fabrics. Projection is not as forceful as you might expect during the colder times for which this fragrance is best suited because the extract is quite oily and ttherefore takes quite warm skin to get the scent up and around. In warm, humid weather, however, this stuff reaches chemical weapons levels of intensity and sillage, so be selective about when you wear it. This is a truly great natural oud fragrance and the high price reflects the quality of the ingredients and blending on display here. Lovers of animalic ouds owe it to themselves to at least sample this remarkable creation. Strongly recommended.

Smokey cedar, cypriol, and lots of birtch perched atop labdanum, vetiver, and an amber fixative. Do not be afraid of this one, it is tempered skillfully here. Powerhouse ingredients, but never feels scratchy or harsh. They claim to be using genuine Cambodian Agarwood here. I don't think it's dosed super high, if it's there at all. It smells and wears like something from Amouage's line up but more simple. You must like birtch to enjoy this. I'm averse to extreme smoke (looking at you BeauFort) but the perfumer draws boundaries so this never feels uncomfortable. For those that value performance, it's great. 30% concentration, 2-3 sprays otherwise you will choke people out. This was love at first sniff and for me is one of the best oud-based fragrances on market. Silage and Performance are absolutely outstanding. Very “loud & strong” fragrance may give first impression it’s animalic oud but surprisingly it’s perfectly balanced oud without skunky notes. This is a fragrance that will accompany you everywhere you go...after 10 hours I can still smell myself and you have to be careful not to overspray (2 sprays enough). This is for cold winter, evening fragrance, leaning definitely more on masculine side. Price absolutely justify quality of this extrait! One of those fragrances I have back-up bottle in sealed packaging waiting for its turn. This is easily a signature scent type of fragrance and niche without any doubt!

Woody ambry oudy heaven. Lasts and projects for hours. It might be too strong for some. To me it's a year-round scent. Very nicely done. There are no screaming notes in it but smooth and buttery. This is what's now referred to as white oud. Very nice clean smelling oud with no animalic traces. Price is very steep for this 50ml bottle. Although I should mention this is like a 2-spry bottle for most and it should last forever. If you like woody ambry scents then this can be a blind buy for sure. Also very unique I would say. I don't have anything else in my collection similar to this.

This is undoubtedly the best Oud fragrance in the market today. It's simple and straight forward. And sometimes the simplest fragrances are the best. Notes of Cambodian Oud and Incense blend together and remind me of the smell of my house during Eid when we burn Bokhour (Oud). This fragrance is the closest scent resembles burning Oud. This fragrance is fault free, i will never stop buying this fragrance a well deserving ★★★★★

یک کار عودی چرمی با لایه خفیفی از پچولی رایحه عود در اینکار مدرن است و عربی نیست متاسفانه حضور پچولی پررنگ نیست ولی بازهم کار را شیک و و سیف کرده پخش خیلی خوب و ماندگاری عالی داره کاملا مناسب مجالس و ماههای سرد بنظرم شبیه عود سانتال بریکورته ولی اگر بخوام با پرایوت لیبل مقایسه کنم قطعا پیچیدگی و ظرافت کمتری داره و خیلی صریح تره

Most definitively the best Oud fragrance on the market. The Oud is intense accompanied by incense and cedar. This is the real deal, not an Oud accord like many others in the market. Performance is outstanding lasting all night with hints of it the next day. Used for formal occasions during winter time.

Love this smokey slice of heaven. Reminiscent of the smell of an old antique store down south. Loaded wth beautiful woods wth the perfect touch of patchouli & vetiver... STUNNING! Get your nose on this beast... PROJECTION AND LONGEVITY IS THROUGH THE ROOF!

Take the original black bottle, amp up the notes,add higher quantities of higher quality ingredients and you have this sumptuous scent. One of the best western ouds, not for the timid. The only drawback is,the price.

Compared to the black bottle parfum, I get a noticeable increase in the smoky birch note, and generally smokier, I still prefer the more humid and dank parfum version to the extraits slightly dryer feel

I blind bought this fragrance after hearing and reading alot of hype about how this is the one the holly grail of oud fragrances. Really ? I need to have this, i love my ouds. So been wearing this for a week now and have got to say right away its a nice fragrance it really is but the best oud fragrance. Honestly wouldn’t make my top 5. Now just to let you know a bit about me, i love my wild and organic pure oud oils have easily 50 plus bottles and buy them from everyone. Ensar oud is currently my favourite i would say. So back to this fragrance, its just nice nothing special at all for me. It starts off slightly incense smoky and then on the dry down its nice oud but nothing special with amber and still kepps the smokey vibe. Performance is sold 10 hours on me with surprisingly average sillage, I selected moderate on the vote. I really was expecting something special with this fragrance with beast mode sillage and what i got was a real nice fragrance i do enjoy but doesn’t quite live up to the hype.

A very dry "oud", that I would say is more of the cypriol, amber and vetiver than much of any real oud but does a decent job of pushing a very strong dry wood smell with a touch of smoke. When I first put this on, Gucci Guilty Absolute first came to mind which is a very dry vetiver and leather fragrance. Imagine that style of fragrance but with the greener tones of vetiver and cypriol being both higher quality and higher in promincence. This is good, but an aquired taste. One I have acquired myself as I like this dry woody style.

as it dries down you get dry sandalwood, little patchouli and oud; loved the strong rich spicy oud opening but a bit too woody on the dry then down in the base to patchouli in the end; lasted long

This is my 14th PMC product and it is the first one that does not live up to the name. I am bored by this as it is a one note wonder. That note is cypriol. The listed notes are overly optimistic. All I get is a dark, funky gothic type fragrance. It does’t smell bad but at the same time this is not an inviting fragrance. If I were to smell this on a date I would be confused because this one pushes one away. It does not invite you in. Never thought I would say that about a PMC fragrance with the exception of their new incense fragrance. It is austere as well but not alienating. What I am trying to say is one puts this on when one wants to be left alone not when you want to hang out the welcome mat. Being PMC the performance is very good. It does not project as well as one would think but 12 hours later it is still there. If I smelled the way my shirt did the next day I would be much more likely to purchase a full bottle.

This is it Ive found my personal Holy Grail of Oud Unlike A N Y T H I N G i have ever got my nose too How is it possible for something to be simultaneously light as a breeze and dense as an ancient tree, sweet as maple and bitter as the darkest coffee, instinctually seductive and borderline horrifying? I will never be able to answer that, but it is how i feel when experiencing Oud Imperial Extrait, yes this is not something you smell, it is something you experience. Most days i like to spend time alone with it, other times it is layered to create truly unique one of a kind experiences, when that happens it makes all my other Perfumes figuratively clutch their pearls as they know they will be dragged along kicking and screaming for a minimum of 12 hours, definition of beast

I really liked the smoky aspect of Oud Imperial (not so much the nuttiness that comes after) and I was hoping this would take care of it, but it didn't; instead it's thicker (I should've figured) and almost skipped the opening and jumped right to the heart. I definitely wouldn't buy it over the original at almost twice the price and half the size

Perhaps the strongest Oud perfume I have ever smelled...the Sillage is extremely strong, with a touch of headache. Fragrance 4/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage/Projection 10/10

A couple of reviews mention that it's "animalic" ... Make no mistake, there is nothing animalic about this fragrance.
