Patchouli Nosy Be

I randomly received two samples from Perris Monte Carlo with a purchase, and I'm very impressed so far. Vanille de Tahiti is a high-quality grown-up vanilla scent, far from the basic vanilla I expected. Patchouli Nosy Be is perhaps even better. A balsamic chocolate-patchouli scent, it is a beautiful example of its genre. Patchouli can be a challenging note - I used to think I disliked it, but now it is one of my favourites, given its versatility. It is frequently paired with florals, most notably rose, adding an earthy edge. It is a core component of the modern chypre to which I'm partial, as well as contributing to the fruichoulis of the noughties. It is a multifaceted note - oscillating between being earthy, herbal, dirty, muddy, damp, dry, balsamic, mossy, woody - the list goes on. When it appears in its balsamic state, it is smooth and amber-esque and, curiously, resembles chocolate. The chocolate-patchouli accord was famously pioneered in Mugler's Angel, arguably the first true gourmand, and it has featured in many scents since (of varying quality). Here, it is a much simpler composition than the kitchen-sink-y Angel, but excellent. Apart from Cartier L'Heure VII (expensive and hard to find), this is the best chocolate-patchouli I've come across. PNB opens with earthy patchouli, initially slightly herbal and damp, with some discordant pink pepper evident at its opening. This subsides quickly, and it settles into a smooth, balsamic patchouli scent thanks to the sweet, good-quality vanilla note that follows. Leather-like labdanum rounds out the ambery base and complementing the balsamic patchouli-vanilla accord seamlessly. The chocolate note emerges after a little while, like high-quality raw cacao, dark and bitter-sweet. It marries beautifully with the patchouli-vanilla accord. Some soft woodiness is evident as it dries down, complementing the patchouli nicely. It becomes musky as it fades. Sillage is moderate and longevity is long-lasting. It is unisex despite its sweetness, and is a cold weather scent. I was very taken with Le Labo Patchouli 24, but PNB has surpassed it in my opinion thanks to the inclusion of its pitch-perfect cacao note (it is also a fraction of the price of P24). Sweet, smooth, earthy darkness. 4.5/5.

I’m starting this review with a bold statement: I think this scent is THE patchouli scent for the category of fragrance wearers who say patchouli is not for them! Or they find it too much if a fragrance has a strong patchouli note. I am not one of those people, I like or love patchouli most of the times.. and I love this as well! Superb scent!! Patchouli Nosy Be is a strong scent but not necessarily a strong patchouli scent, like I have expected judging it by the name: Patchouli Nosy Be. I find the patchouli note very well balanced with the cacao pod, vanilla, labdanum, pink pepper and woods: cedar plus sandalwood. It’s such an exquisite blend that nothing feels overwhelming or overpowering any other note. No note here fights against the others in the mix.. It is such an intriguing fragrance: it’s warm and sweet, earthy and powdery, woody and spicy, all in the same time. Simply put, it’s a spicy gourmand patchouli. Not sweet but not too earthy or musty. An amazing fragrance that instantly draws you in. I think it comes second to Ylang Ylang Nose By, my most favourite ylang ylang scent of all time, in my Perris Monte Carlo collection. If you're looking for something deep and complex that will get you complimented, this is a runner. Superb for the colder months! Very underrated and well priced for the super quality and the way it performs. It’s a niche brand that is sold for the same price or even less than the latest designer launches. Like I have already mentioned, it’s an intense scent that performs well. Goes straight to my to buy list! Cooler season type of perfume.

After seeing this in a few YouTube patchouli lists of favorite patchoulis, and diving deeper into reviews I felt I’d really love this one and so I went my usual route of a blind buy and my lucky streak continues. I found this to be an instant love. Upon spraying and the ensuing hour or two, this one doesn’t seem to know what it wants to do on my skin. I get whiffs of both a dank skanky patchouli, balanced with whiffs of an ultra clean and deep patchouli. When this one settles, it settles on my skin into a deep, rich, robust chocolate patchouli. Simply marvelous. An absolute instant love. To be fair, when this delivered, I was in the midst of a work day and so I didn’t pay extremely close attention to this fragrance’s attributes, though I’m not sure I’d be able to add something not yet said below. The interplay and bipolararity of super clean luxury and dank skank was quite pleasing to me. Even the skanky aspects of this just kept pulling me in more when they revealed themselves. The performance seemed to me quite well. Hours later I could still detect it. I don’t believe it was necessarily projecting strongly, and in reality I’m not sure I could comment on that unless I was surrounded by others who man comment on whether they can detect it, and a couple other by MCP that I received in the same order were certainly detectable by nose several hours later. For me this is a 5 star out of 5 for me.

Patchouli Nosy Be is a fragrance in which the final result is more than the sum of its components. Although the patchouli note and a less identifiable sweet note can indeed be detected throughout the entire life of the perfume, the mix of notes gives birth to a very original, soothing, comforting scent. Not dry, not cloying: just the right balance of evocative power (through the patchouli) and calming, crowd-pleasing notes (vanilla, cacao). The problem with associating patchouli with sweet notes, at least to my nose, is that it may end up smelling like Play Do (think of Profumum Roma Patchouly for example). Patchouli Nosy Be luckily does not make this mistake: it never smells plasticky or cheap, which is very good. I detect strong similarities with profumum roma patchouly though, even in terms of performance. I tried all the perfumes of the Perris Monte Carlo Black and Gold lines, and this is the one I like the most (second being AmbreGris). I sprayed it three times: 1 on each side of my neck and 1 on the wrist. Sillage and projection are moderate (not too soft but I do not think that, unless someone is sitting/walking right next to you, they will be able to smell you) and does not leave a big trail. It does project nonetheless, it is not a skin scent. All in all I think Patchouli Nosy Be is a special scent, very original and comforting, but not a beast to fill the room.

The fragrance exudes a dark, sexy energy. It is rich and long-lasting, with a sweet balsamic quality and a distinct, opulent patchouli note. It’s not something to for blind buy, but for the right conditions, it’s simply perfect. Smells very unique, for both women and men you would get noticed wearing this one. On warm wet days, the labdanum note became overly pronounced, giving it an unpleasantly masculine edge. When I first caught a whiff of it in a store, I was completely mesmerized. I found myself returning again and again. Each time, the fragrance unfolded differently, influenced by the weather. In dry and cold (warm too) weather, it worked beautifully on me. The scent is amazing.

This is a 24 hour fragrance. Hands down my favorite patchouli despite not smelling anything like I previously knew patchouli to smell. This is not that earthy, chocolate cake, heavy patchouli a la Shakedown Street that those of us who know the pleasures of seasoning our Fatty Egg Rolls with soy sauce from the spray bottle are so well acquainted with. This is the finest dry vanilla wood shavings patchouli IMO. It is well balanced. All the notes work well together. Get you some. And the extrait too. I have been been wearing this one for a minute now. I am just now noticing not tonka but something tonka adjacent. Probably the amber aspect of the labdanum, what ever it is it is delicious.

Damn! Another must have patchouli. I was hooked on first sample and the more I wear it the more I love it. I definitely see why Suma Oriental is voted as similar. I love that one too, and have the travel size. This one feels much more natural than SO to me, and has a stronger/clearer focus on the patchouli. There's a kind of plastic sweetness in Suma Oriental that this one does not have (not a knock on SO- I do love it). This is somehow effervescent- sparkly and not as dense as similar blends, but without losing any power. It's is very smooth and silky. Earthy sweet. Great performance. Strong love, and will have a place of honor in my large patchouli collection.

Eğer fazla kullanırsanız çevrenizi değil ama sizi bunaltabilir. Nemli ve sıcak yaz günleri dışında her mevsim için uygun. Bu markanın parfümleri genel olarak başarılı. Belki bu güzel parfümler biraz yumuşak olabilirdi. Ancak kalıcılığı ve özellikle koku dağılımı yumuşak bir tarzda yakalamak pek mümkün olmuyor.

A newly acquired favourite. It opens medium/strong but mellows out within 2-3 minutes. A delightful rich creamy patchouli. It develops into an inviting sweet accord very smoothly as it dries down. I almost sense a tobacco flower note (though it doesn't contain one). Superbly blended and isn't too heavy for daytime wear. For me, it becomes a skin scent within an hour. So velvety and beautiful, the more I wear it, the more I adore it. A refined, cozy, mature fragrance that can be enjoyed year-round.

Dark, dense, opulent patchouli liqueur. Opens a bit musty and earthy but this eases to reveal a more balanced cocoa and vanilla facet. The dry down seductively showcases that chocolate cake thing patchouli can do without being sweet. Lives up to its name and delivers a heady patchouli experience without distracting elements. The first hour it projects heavily and lingers on for a long time. If you like a heavy patchouli this should certainly be a contender. I can see this layering nicely too.

I’ve had this from FOREVER. I’m wearing this today and am just now getting to write a review for it. This is one of them when i smelled it in store and purchased it, it was phenomenal. But somehow i fell out of love with it and it just sat. Wearing this today helps me to regain a new found appreciation for it. This has an, unaccountable, iris and cumin note(s) that adds to its intrigue. Maybe I’m wrong because i haven’t smelled ALL things patch, but this is as good i can imagine patch to get.

I would not describe myself as a fan of patchouli but I like it as a background note. And that's not this fragrence. Here patchouli is forward in the composition and it's beautiful. I believe this is the most remarkable patchouli I have ever smelled. I can't identify all the different notes, I just know I love it. Rather linear on me, but because I love it that's okay. Great longevity, more than 6 hours before it turns to a skin scent with just one spray. I need this in my life, FB worthy.

A warm, slightly dry, and earthy patchouli with a soft cocoa-like nuance. Labdanum and a light touch of vanilla add smoothness and warmth without making it sweet. Very cozy, balanced, and consistent from start to finish. Truly unisex, though it develops a slight softness on my skin. You have to like patchouli — not a safe blind buy, but a beautiful and well-made scent.

Whiskied, woody, fruity, slightly animalic patchouli, yummy. I admire its opulence, and as a man, I find it highly evocative and easily wearable. I believe I received a warm and welcoming introduction to patchouli. Along with the top notch bottle design, what's there not to like?

I'm a guy and this is one of my most complimented fragrances. It REALLY stands apart from all the bubble gum boy-ish colognes they make now, I can also see immediate reactions from others, it's a head turner that's for sure.

I'm just blown away by this fantastic powdery scent. If this is patchouly, then I, contrary to the previous experiences, love it. This perfume is appropriate for both summer and winter, soft and intoxicating at any moment.

I'm loving this take on Patchouli, not the dry & dusty oils of my youth, but a sweeter, well rounded, complete fragrance. Depth & style, just lovely.

Out of 430+ fragrances sampled this is still tied for first with Encense Suave. Those two are on my desert island list for sure

This fragrance is quite good, very good. The opening needs to breathe a bit, but once the fragrance agrees with the skin, it's incredible. Maybe the pink pepper is loud in the opening? I just got this fragrance 2 days ago, so I'm still figuring out the nuances. What I get when I smell this is primarily patchouli, but of the most opulent and none offensive order. I believe the patchouli from the island of Nosy Be in Madagascar has that chocolate cakey tone to it naturally, so not sure how much cocoa is in here compared to the cocoa accord from this patchouli. But that is the kind of patchouli I'm picking up, throughout the lifespan of the fragrance. Other notes I detect are the pink pepper in the opening, some woods as it drys down, along with some dashes of amber. A pretty dry fragrance in texture. It doesn't projection a lot at the moment. The longevity was about 8 hours off skin, but my skin holds fragrances well too. With that said, I believe this fragrance is pretty versatile as well. Not a punchy fragrance that can't be worn at work. I think this will make a killer date night scent though. Doesn't matter the gender here. This works for anyone that likes patchouli. In fact, if you're hesitant about the note of patchouli, this could be a great fragrance to start that journey. I haven't gotten any of the animalic nature that patchouli has at times...that mustiness. It does have that beautiful earth/soily energy this note is known for though...just the aura of this like an overcast sky, not the thunderstorm. This is a big like, but not a love (yet).

This is superb. A very woody patchouli is the most prominent note. The first thing that strikes me is dry planks of timber in a room full of sawdust. It also has a coco note that quickly builds up underneath. A sandalwood and a powdery vanilla is also present and a pink pepper with its sweet spicy touch. It's smooth, woody and warm. It's slightly linear. It opens up more and more, but it's a variation of the notes that is already there for the start. It's woody, warm spicy, and slightly sweet. It's so good, i instantly purchased a bottle when i smelled it. Where: casual, semi-casual, maybe even semi-formal. Work friendly for sure. Very relaxing and pleasant. When: Most of the year, really. But probably best for fall, winter, and spring. A cool summer evening being fine as well. Day or night. Who: On my skin, it leans slightly masculine. But there is no true masculine notes or vibes. Probably not a good match for the youngest, but it's definitely not a teen repellent either. Personal score: 9/10. It's a superb fragrance, and an instant buy for me. As far as patchouli focused fragrances goes, this is at the top of my list.

Patchouli Nosy Be, simply said a very clean and pure patchouli, possibly coming from the super rare high end patchouli extract Perris claims is in this (which for one I am inclined to believe) meeting a silky vanilla note and a touch of labdanum. Not very resinous for an amber, none of that caramel/toffee benzoin facet you get in Jovoy Psychedelique, which I actually prefer to be left out. Similar to other Perris offerings, this one feels quite light in the base, sitting in a radiant midrange, meaning you experience that woody vanillic spiced hot chocolate feel for several hours uninterrupted. No sticky aromachems pocking out in the base until really far in at around the 10 hour mark where you get more of a musky amberwood cutting through. I would recommend Patchouli Nosy Be to those that want a pure chocolate pachouli experience without entering heavy amber territory, but also without feeling too spicy or clove-y. Very smooth, clean and in a way sultry patchouli without the camphorous medicinal aspects with just the right amount of warm sweetness. Very nice! Another excellent offering from Perris.

Starts out as a really nice earthy almost dirty patch fragrance. 30 minutes in, the patch smooths out and the cacao starts to take center stage. I get the vanilla and there's certainly a balsamic quality added by the labdanum. This is nice. I must say it reminds me just a bit of Coromandel without any of the florals. Probably more masculine. Fans of Guerlain's L' Instant Extreme might want to check this out. There are some similarities but I find Patchouli Nosy Be to be smoother, with LIDGE being more complex and ultimately satisfying due to the added star anise note that I personally love. All in all, I think this would be a great addition at discounter prices, but full retail would not be worth it.

Ok I can't stand the top notes here - smells like a nail salon to me 🤢 HOWEVER the rest of the experience is lovely. On me it transitions from the screechy nail salon opening to a green floral within a minute or two. I swear I get a geranium note in the mid that is not listed...and then in the drydown you get that gorgeous aromatic patch that becomes a little chocolatey with the addition of the vanilla, labdanum & cacao. I was considering ditching my decant in favor of a Noir de Noir dupe, but upon smelling it again I think it is distinct enough to keep. Also my skin eats NdN so am unsure how the dupe will perform... Not a safe blind buy at all - get a sample first!

I've tested my sample of this three times and the first two light testings had me leaning toward tracking down a larger decant. But then, on my third testing, I used quite a bit more juice than earlier and now the labdanum is really jumping out at me and... I don't like it. I didn't even know it was the labdanum at first--something smelled animalic to me and the reviews below identify that as the labdanum. It might be a deal breaker for me because apparently I find labdanum really off-putting, but if that note works for you then Nosy Be is one to check out. The cacao and patchouli is lovely; if the labdanum weren't there, I would have loved this.

This was such a discovery for me. I used to think that patchouli note has this bubblugumy smell, based on all fragrances I own with patchouli note in them. This was different, dry leafy 🍁 and peppery, like black pepper powder. It’s not very attractive but I want to smell it on me, it’s really hypnotic. I would say it is more mature smell. This one and a leather jacket makes me feel so good and confident. Price is on point, only thing that bothers me that I can’t see through the bottle how much juice is inside. I guess I need that extrait concentration.

A friend gave me a sample of this and wow is it incredible. Not a mossy, hippy-vibe patchouli at all. It does have patchouli-level intensity and staying power, but the overall effect is a complex, refined version. It's both skanky and elegant - woods and spices balance the labdanum. It's sweet but also a bit musty with a dry cocoa note that I don't consider gourmand. My husband (a big sandalwood fan) really fell in love with it so I got him a FB as a birthday gift. He wears it often and I get to enjoy it secondhand - a win-win.

*If you are fan of Patchouli fragrances like Dior's Patchouli Imperial,then you should definetly check this out. Similar take on of patchouli. *Beautiful chocolatey peppery patchouli in the opening after 2 min labdanum comes up. Balanced sweet patchouli scent. *And this is not as chocolatey as Psycedelique by Jovoy but it is really nice. *Average performance. --I am not fan of patchouli as a prominent note but this is one of good examples of a patchouli fragrances.

I love this at first, then the middle smells like I literally rolled around in dirt, and then finally the dry down is a nice softer patchouli and wood. I might love it on a really cold day, my arm smells like a cosy wooden sauna. Excellent longevity, still going strong 8 hours later and after a run. Sillage is ok. Unisex but not feminine. It's a like...not sure it's a FB love. I'll try again in the one week of actual cold winter we get in Sydney.

Like putting on pure patchouli essential oil, it is that concentrated! I have come to appreciate patchouli more (and this fragrance helps) but it's still not my #1 note and prefer it mixed with something lighter. The notes in here are all very woodsy and earthy and blend perfectly. A good one if you are a patch lover.

I like it: a dry, woody, chocolaty patchouli. Warm and cozy, but actually really nice to wear on a summer evening too. Probably my favorite perfume out of the Perris Monte Carlo line... although it mostly says something about this brand than this parti ular fragrance...

Patchouli for beginners or for very young girls. Mixed with gourmand vanilla and cacao so that earthy patchouli notes become veiled and totally disappear after 2-3 hours. Good scent, but not wow.

عطری است که طول میکشه که به حالت پایدار خودش برسه این عطر در شروع استفاده؛ بوی شدید الکلی میده. البته نه الکل معمولی که اکثرا تصور میکنن. منظور کلی از الکل اکثرا الکل اتیلیک هست؛ در حالیکه این عطر در شروع استفاده بوی الکل متیلیک میده . بوی شدید الکل زیاد ادامه پیدا نمیکنه و بویی ادویه مانند به الکل اضافه میشه. البته در این مرحله بوی الکل کامل از بین نمیره. بعدا از حدود سه ربع بوی کاکائو اضافه میشه و وقتی که یک ساعت و ربع از عمر عطر میگذره؛ بلاخره بوی الکلی بطور کامل از بین میره و عطر با خودش بلاخره به آشتی میرسه. از این به بعد بوی عطر تغییر محسوسی نمیکنه و همون بوی کاکائویی خودش رو حفظ میکنه بوی این عطر در مرحله ی نتهای میانی و پایه؛ بسیار شبیه به عطر L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme میشه و فضایی که ایجاد میکنه تا حد بالای ۹۰ درصد شبیه به عطر ذکر شده میشه پخش بوی ملایمی داره و دوامش هم متوسط رو به پایین هست It is a perfume that takes a long time to reach its stable state This perfume at the beginning of use; It smells strongly of alcohol. I bought this perfume blind, as well as Lorenzo Villoresi's Patchouli and Patricia de Nicolai's Patchouli Intense. In fact, these perfumes shouldn't give the impression that they're about patchouli. Patchouli is their dominant note, but they are surrounded by other notes. The word "patchouli" in these perfume's names is very misleading. They're "like" perfumes that have patchouli as their dominant note (as, for example, Jovoy Psychedelique), but you'll have to bury your nose where you applied the perfume to find the patchouli.. A total disappointment. If you want a really pure patchouli, without any other notes, go for Farmacia SS. Annunziata Patchouly Indonesiano. I also bought it blind, but this is a true patchouli that throws out bursts that are sometimes woody, sometimes earthy, also including the scent of very dry earth recently wet by rain. A gem. It has a huge sillage and longevity. It is also great for layering. Here at Fragratica FSSA makes it clear: patchouli is the only note and no other.

This patchouli is very intense at the opening, almost a liqueur. It displays a slight earthy note, which quickly disappears to be replaced by a sustained and round peppery flavor. Cocoa is present. It brings its powdery and bitter flavors (95% cocoa!) and settles on sweet base notes! The note of cistus is quite raw and sweet. The set offers an opulent and powerful patchouli, a liquor of vanilla and cedar "green" quite synthetic. A huge track and a sticky outfit. It is perfect for the cool seasons and people who love Pierre Montale’s "bulldozers" creations for his house Montale Paris and Mancera Paris! It's not my style at all! Not for me ...

A very nice patchouli frag (although somehow monothematic) which balances between a heavy mustiness and the classic citronella undertone of rich patchouli. Cocoa and labdanum add some body and keep the patchouli from becoming too "antique". Good quality, no surprises. There are other patchouli frags out there that have made the similar journey long before (e.g. Borneo 1834) and perhaps more succesfully, but if you are a patchouli fanatic it's up to you if this is worth the price of admission.

Buy Zara Thunder Feel instead if you like this scent. Just beware of the performance on that one (the Zara), 20 sprays disappear on my skin after 3-4h. I can neither smell patchouli nor cacao from this one, but I've only sprayed it on paper.

Powdery, vanilla plays with the punchy patchouli. Soft/pretty AND animalistic/sensual. Melds beautifully with the skin.

Wow! This is effing gorgeous! Makes me think of a a combo of Tom Ford's Purple Patchouli and Oud Wood. Lovely notes of spice and all things nice! Plus I've a weakness for vanilla notes in perfumes! This is also the first time I've realised that I love patchouli.... is it because of the high quality of the patchouli used in this or the addition of the vanilla softening it and making quite cozy too? This is very unisex. I'd say more male focused. (Reviewer below says more female focused) but you decide. If you love the perfume, WEAR IT. So what on earth is Nosy Be? Hmm! Weird name! Read on...... Nosy Be is the name of an island that trades in spices and fragrant produce! They call it The Perfume Island. A perfumers playground, I'd imagine! I'd love to smell this on a man! I'm female and enjoy it a lot. Ordered a FB and this is my 'go to' frag when I want something different from the usual florals.. There's times I reached for the wonderful vintage Oud Wood by Tom Ford, (which contains no patchouli) for the same reason, just sick of the usual florals in perfumes, this perfume offers the same quality, of that 'something different'. (Why does this fragrance always conjure up thoughts of Tom Ford?) I'm still unsure about that...... hah! Not that I mind thinking of the man..... ;) With Australia's cooler months ahead, I'm looking forward to the EdP's and this will get lots of use. I like wearing it at night. My 'ever developing' nose is loving this. Welcome aboard, Patchouli Nosy be. Edit. Ah ha! Got it! I know what this perfume reminds me of. It's not any of Tom Ford's fragrances, it's Volutes by Diptyque. If you added patchouli to Volutes, the scents would be the same. (or very similar) With only 10 reviews and 67 votes worldwide, this clearly hasn't entered the market of success it should be in. I guess it's a case of lack of good advertising that's making this a somewhat 'undiscovered' gem. Probably a very safe blind buy for any patch lover, male or female. Try applying a small spray only and I suggest wrist application. That way, you'll get lovely wafts of it as you walk around. I think over spraying this could be a small disaster, and in turn, become overbearing and off-putting. You know how it is, sometimes less is more....... There's also an elixir in 50ml for those who can afford $500! Enjoy!

تست امشب پچولی نوز بی یکی دیگه از عطرهای جذاب در نهایت کیفیت از برند پریس مونته کارلو . وقتی این عطرو تست میکنید در شروع بوضوح بوی ژرانیوم داره . گیاه عطر چای رو لمس کردید ؟ قدیما تو خونه های مامان بزرگا همیشه بود ‌ . حتما دیدید . عطر چای هم یکی از واریته های گیاه شمعدانی هست . پچولی نوز بی در شروع با حجم زیادی از بوی ژرانیوم و سندل وود و پچولی شروع میشه . ی تم هندی طور داره . ولی این حس فراره و تو چند دقیقه آرامش میگیره . نت پچولی قدرت بلامنازع و بازیگر اصلی این عطره . نرم و زیبا هم آغوش ژرانیوم میشه . پودر کاکائو با اینکه واضحا احساس نمیشه ولی تاثیر خودشو تو پولیش کردن و به کمال رسوندن بوی پچولی ایفا می‌کنه . تو قلب عطر رایحه به بلوغ نمایش خودش میرسه و از فضای هندی طور شروع فاصله میگیره . نت ها سرجای خودشون قرار میگیرند و روایحشون ادغام میشه . تا اکوردی گرم و مجلسی رو بسازند . بحدی پچولی نوز بی شیک و کلاسی به نمایش درمیاد که بعید می‌دونم حتی کسانی هم که پچولی دوست نداشته باشند بتونند در مقابلش تسلیم نشند . قلب پچولی نوز بی از نظر فضای کلی خیلی به لنسان اکستریم گرلن شبیه میشه . ولی لنسان آکورد امبری پررنگتری داره . تو پچولی نوز بی نسبت به لنسان اکستریم بوی پودر کاکائو کمتر احساس میشه . ولی خیلی شبیه به هم هستند . ولی این همه ماجرا نیست درای داون عطر با محوریت محض پچولی با کمی بوی ژرانیوم میشینه رو اکوردی چوبی و امبری که تا ساعتها روی پوست دلبری می‌کنه. اگه دوست دارید تو فصل سرما گرم بنظر بیاید اگه سیگار می‌کشید . اگه اهل پوشیدن پالتوهای فلانل و فوتر هستید . اگه شال گردن ست میکنید با پیراهن و بارونی . اگه فکر میکنید تو لباس پوشیدن یخوده شیک و مردونه رفتار میکنید . اگه دوست دارید رایحه شما نمایانگر شخصیت جدی و مستقل و اجتماعی شما باشه . پچولی نوز بی ی انتخاب بی نقص و شیکه برای پرفورمنس خودتون . پچولی نوز بی در کنار پچولی امپریال دیور و لنسان اکستریم گرلن و سایکودلیک جووی و بورنئو سرج لوتنس و کورماندل شانل از شیکترین عطرهای پچولی محور هست که شناختم . از نظر پرفورمنس نمایش عالی داره . هاله ای معطر و بسیار پایدار تا ساعتها و موندگاری بالای ۱۲ ساعت روی پوست بدون تخریب رایحه داره .

The opening is a little sharp, confused, but acceptable. I think the sharpness must be from the peppers and potentially empowered by some other synthetic ingredients. However, the dry down, and I mean 45 minutes into it, and all the way to the end of its life as a detectible aroma, this is a great patchouli with a lovely dusting of woods, dry chocolate powder and spice. Thank god reviewers didn't get their hands on it, it can still be found at a reasonable price, and it's worth every penny even at retail. I get some distant resemblance to Midnight in Paris, Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka, and Prada Luna Rossa Black, with a lovely dry chocolate patchouli added to the mix. Amazing. I need to wear it a few more times to be sure of its longevity, but it feels that it lasts. As a reference point, I have Jovoy Psychadelique, and Montale Patchouli Leaves, both great, but for some reason I gravitate towards this more. Quality is up there with those two no doubt.

Patchouli "Curioso"...? Verissimo... profumo curioso, interessante e bello. Questa fragranza non ha evoluzione... ma subisce un'autentica metamorfosi! Il patchouli iniziale, nè aspro nè terroso, è ammorbidito dall'ambra che, piano piano, si riscalda. Il profumo si trasforma, la nota patchouli arretra fino a scomparire, si espande un'ambra legnosa e resinosa molto intensa. Successivamente, il labdano si addolcisce di una vaniglia scura, sempre lignea, non cremosa. Il patchouli non c'è più. Ora avverto ambra e cacao... è cambiato ancora. Sensuale. Meraviglioso. Sorprendente. Decisamente Nosy. Anche se Nosy Be è realmente il nome di un'isola vicino al Madagascar, la cosiddetta isola "profumata" (molte coltivazioni di ylang-ylang). Un nome, un destino. Dopo due ore si è ancora trasformato...in avvolgente cacao ambrato. Sempre più magnifico. Guizzato al primo posto nella mia personale wishlist profumi all'ambra...

The name Patchouli Nosy Be almost sounds like an awkward, vaguely scent-related semi-pun, a non-English speaker might generate: "truly nosy be" or "unruly nosy be". ...Of course, it's actually an island of the coast of northwestern Madagascar, famed for the quality of its patchouli (and ylang-ylang). The name means 'big island' in Malagasy. It has repeatedly been a source of inspiration, and ingredients, for Perris Monte Carlo. The opening is brightly green, powdery sweet, and sharply aromatic, thanks to pink pepper. The pepper fades away, but the rest stays: chocolatey patchouli and classic amber (vanilla + labdanum). It's all quite pleasant, but in a highly invigorating way, most overtly patchouli fragrances are that way. Patchouli Nosy Be is a scent to wear when one seeks stimulation, ...or else, to stimulate others.

bought this as a (hopeful) replacement for Chanel Coromandel which I just emptied. unfortunately this is not much like Coromandel. this is more dense and patchouli heavy and I barely get any discernible chocolate or vanilla. in fact there’s an “acetone/nail polish” note that it never quite loses. I’m not sure what is causing the acetone aroma (maybe the pepper) but it very near ruins the scent entirely. I’m mad that I probably need to buy Coromandel again (at today’s jacked up prices while also remembering that the original edt was better than the current edp). Patchouli fans should like this if craving a semi-sweet woody patchouli (as long as you don’t get the nonstop acetone that lurks for me).

"Patchouli Nosy Be" opens with a smooth, woodsy patchouli note tinged with some spiciness (this is where pink pepper plays out), before getting animalic with the note of labdanum. At the dry down, Patchouli is still present but with a creamy oriental base of Sandalwood and a wimpy dose of Vanilla. If you're thinking of a refreshingly chic, opulent and sensual patchouli-themed fragrance, look no further! "Patchouli Nosy Be" is definitely a unisex perfume. This is another yummy chocolate patchouli. I was worried about the pepper which is very strong for about 10 seconds and them calms right down. The patchouli starts of quite dark green and dank (I actually love that about patch) and then mellows into the warm woody patchouli I love the most. It has some delicious cacao but remains quite structured and never becomes a sweet sticky mess. It remains fairly dry and definitely unisex. It is less dank than psychedelic and drier than coromandel. It is a perfect medium between the two. Yummy
