Shining Moon

This is impressive. There is a soft pink pepper and cedar that are so welcoming. I immediately got the sense like I am home, somewhere familiar and comforting. There is a softness also that comes through from the floral notes but this is not obvious florals keeping it in the unisex realm. I can see this being 'my skin or better' for some people depending on skin chemisty

Probably the only skin scent I would consider buying today. I finally smell something :D the peppery opening gets calmer as time goes by. It is accompanied by some floral notes and the freshness of cedar. As people said below, this is very cozy, familiar, friendly, nice. Thinking about getting a FB.

I love most of the notes listed for this fragrance, so I was excited to try it out in a sample pack. Unfortunately, everything for me is pretty overwhelmed by the rose and pink pepper. A nice enough scent on someone else, but not for me. Very intimate, not very long-lasting.

Frist Impressions from a sample: Shining Moon smells different than the other more natural smelling scents that I've sampled and loved from Perris Monte Carlo. I don't get any correlation with the name Shining Moon and the scent itself. I'm not sure why but it gives me a touch of a middle eastern vibe. On my skin I mainly get a peppery floral rose forward with a synthetic woody back bone that gives it a push in projection in the opening. It gives me a warm feeling so I'd think this would smell best in Fall/winter. It smells well composed and blended and the rose note smells lovely to my nose but the ISO E Super and Cashmeran pushes it to place that smells too synthetic for my taste but if you like these notes then I could see this being a love for some.

The color equivalent of this smell is mousy grey.... Pink pepper is the only thing I smell here, and it just makes me think: "....aaaand? Where's the rest of the smell??" It smells unfinished and weird. Even when the pink pepper calms down I only get pink pepper, but this is probably dependent on the climate it's used in. It's slightly cool and relatively dry here.

Somebody's hand slipped with the pink pepper. It's all I'm getting and it's a scrubber. Why call a peppercorn fragrance "Shining Moon"?

Lunar dust, ISO E musk and the most amazing sparkling pink pepper. Every time I find something that I love, I imagine Robbie Williams singing “Millenium” in the background. This has extra luxurious sparkling pink pepper, borderline bubbly with sugary woods and smooth light clean musk. The rose and florals are nonexistent on me Thank God👏🏻 and because of this, I feel like it’s unisex. No spice cabinet vibes or old spice vibes here, just nice golden sparkles. This is one of the many samples my Mom brought me from her travels in Europe last month; I had not tried anything from this Monte Carlo brand yet but now I’m very very interested in it. Muero MUERO🤍

A lot of pepper with a clean leaning musk. Like fresh laundry hung next to a pepper processing plant. It is nice but not for me. I suspect longevity is going to be an issue. After it settles down the wood comes out and there is some evidence of dirt from the musk. As with all PMC fragrances this smells lovely but my hunch about performance was correct. Projection is dog mess so longevity is moot.

This fragrance is somewhere between Another 13 and Arizona Bloom from Floral street! I own both and absolutely love them so this one by Perris Monte Carlo is no exception! If you like that type of scents that are your skin but better as they say with a hint of woodiness in the background this one is for you.

I received this as a sample from Beverly Hills perfumery and I love it. such a pretty, sophisticated woodsy scent. I think this is a really beautiful smell for women who want that put together, clean vibe. it is still very alluring though and while wearing it I am always sniffing my wrists!

Im a huge fan of Perris Monte Carlo and own several of the range and all of the Gold Collection so i am super excited for this one! Cant see it on their website yet or in any of the regular shops, but ill surely be getting a full bottle when i see it! Edit: got it and love it!
