I bought this as a gift for my brother-in-law, but after trying it myself, I was genuinely impressed. This is one of those fragrances that feels effortlessly fresh yet incredibly comforting. The bergamot opens bright and airy before the creamy sandalwood softens everything into a smooth, slightly powdery embrace. The vetiver adds just enough earthiness to keep it refined without ever feeling heavy. It reminds me of a gentle breeze on a warm summer evening, drifting through a citrus garden just after sunset. Clean, elegant, and quietly confident. It’s an easy choice for hot weather and works perfectly in an office setting, yet it has enough presence to transition into an evening out. While it was recommended to me as a masculine option, I think many women who enjoy woody citrus fragrances could wear it just as beautifully. Simple on paper, but far more sophisticated on skin than the note pyramid suggests. Love at first smell!

I love a masculine fragrance and this is definitely unisex. I was looking for a dupe of VB Portofino 97 as it’s so out of my price range. This is similar but it’s missing that burnt sugar in the notes which would have made it so perfect. Still a lovely blind but from a brand I’d never heard of. They’ve also sent me samples of mahogany sun and goldfawn so interested to try

This reminds me of a more masculine version of Greenwich village. It’s much less sweet. It has that distinct BR540 airiness that you also find in Greenwich village and Trajan. But it’s not as citrus forward as Trajan.
