Upon first spray -- I really couldn't understand WHY people were ranting and raving about this particular perfume...however, it is designed by Sofia G... and after sampling some of her other creations, I knew that I had to add this to my list. The first 30 minutes of this smells a bit "chemical" on my skin, there is a slight plastic-y type note which I find distracting. However, the longer this wears - the better this gets. It moves into a completely aphrodisiac type chord from the first hour of wear to the dry down. This is beautiful ON! The attraction for this perfume doesn't really happen for me until the dry down phase -- and then this amazing MAGIC happens! It is completely carmelizing with my skin and bringing out this most amazing musk sweetness. The results are totally mesmerizing. Ok, I'm sold on this NOW! Love this! ----------- (The Long Story) I'm sampling this with 3 Perry Ellis 360 degree perfumes. I missed the whole Perry Ellis 360 craze that happened in the 90's. I was so dedicated to my signature fragrances that I wasn't sampling many new perfumes at the time. This is the one that people have said was so popular. It conjures up many memories for the people who have worn this for years or have had friends that wear this. So, why am I trying this now? I've just now developed an appreciation for the perfumes that Sophia Grojsman has created. So for that reason, this is a "MUST TRY" perfume. (I'm sampling this with the Coral and Purple, so will make some comparisons). During the first spray phase, the original 360 is less memorable with my chemistry than the Coral or Purple. It is still a nice perfume and blends well with my chemistry, but I'm more drawn to the first vibes of the Coral or Purple in this particular fragrance sample. When first sprayed, there is a slight plastic-y smell in the original 360 that is most noticeable with my chemistry. (Early on, I prefer the Coral and Purple). In the beginning phases of this, lily is prominent. In the first hour or so -- I am preferring Elizabeth Taylor's lily fragrances over this particular fragrance. However, that was BEFORE seeing how this unfolds in the amazing dry down phase. Perry Ellis 360 degrees turns into a chemical aphrodisiac mix with my chemistry, particularly the longer this wears. It is intoxicatingly attractive towards the final phases! I really love the way this wears! You won't know until you try this, it is definitely worth sampling!

Whenever my nose registers this scent lingering in the air, my initial reaction is to turn my head sideways at 45 degrees or so, until I make an about-face, and before I know it, I’ve completed a 360-degree turn with my feet, all for one thing: to search for Miranda Priestly . Perry Ellis 360 for Women was first introduced to me when I was 15 years old. It was the signature scent of my world history teacher. She was a terror. In a good way. If you survived her class, you’d probably survive the world. I remember smelling her scent trail somewhere, lingering around the stairs or corridors. The same scent announced her arrival in class, and it was glorious. Fast-forward to 2013, a decade later, when the thriving young professional I’d become could afford a designer fragrance, I bought a hundred-ml bottle of this scent. It was the very first designer fragrance I bought with my own money. Not for myself, but for my mother. There have been times, though, when I crave for this scent I’d reach for her bottle and ask for a few sprays. It’s when I receive a lot of compliments from ladies who ask me what I’m wearing, saying how nice (and very long-lasting) it is. When I say it’s Perry Ellis 360—an affordable EDT marketed toward women—they are both shocked and delighted. Shocked , because on a guy like me it doesn’t smell feminine. Maybe it has something to do with my natural musky scent. Delighted , because they realize they can wear it, legally. To my nose, this classic Perry Ellis 360 is appropriate for an accomplished career woman. Probably a busy urban dweller working in a high-rise building. That’s why the scent reminds of Miranda Priestly from the movie The Devil Wears Prada . Her passion. Her commanding nature. Her strength and leadership. Her staying power. But that doesn’t mean it’s only for mature ladies. A confident woman of any age can wear this scent. Depending on body chemistry, a secure guy can probably pull this off, too, and claim it’s unisex. On anyone, anywhere, and anytime, this fragrance can likely turn heads and make a statement. And to date, Perry Ellis 360 for Women has become a timeless classic—both vintage and modern. After all, all classics were once contemporary.

Wow! This is an awesome fragrance, with a unique blend of scents, that is just delightful for florals, bold & warmed with notes that make me think maybe it is more of an Oriental floral than anything aquatic. For me there is such a clean, crisp, green to some white florals that is just delicious. I can see how this is a signature fragrance for many & a total turn-off for others. With such a skillful kaleidoscope of scents & blends as it goes through it's stages, it is a complex blend of in-your-face sweet florals, just the right touch of citrus to give it a sweet-tart effect in the initial blast. It's almost like an aldehyde blast or chyrpe for me, in the beginning. The osmanthus is lovely, sweet, blends with the melon & florals so well. Ummmm, sandalwood, musk...just look at the lovely warmth that gives a long-lasting sweetness to all the fresh, greenishness of this lovely blend. Once the top notes have settled down from giving that knockout punch (Amariage? Chantilly?), it enters a lovely soft rose with the white florals, the rose giving it a powdery quality. I think it is the powdery rose that some really find offensive maybe thinking it has a plastic quality to it. I have had nothing from it that made me think plastic whatsoever. For me, this is such an incredible winner! I LOVE the clean, crispness of the green with the white florals, a perfect blend of the base notes, IMO! It is very potent, initially comes on very strong, then transitions to such a lovely, clean fresh powdery floral...and for this price, for me it is almost too good to be true!!! Wow! Love, Love & more Love!!! Edit: I meant to add to this one that I am rather sooooooooooooooo TIRED of seeing phallic shaped bottles, not-so-subtle emblematic, phallic magazine ads (particularly from Marc Jacobs), etc., as this really came into vogue in the 80s. I mean, come on you male designers! Give us all a break that love beautiful, tastefully designed bottles & ads. Anything else is just an implication of something degrading & devaluing to we women. And can't those designers come up with something more creative, interesting & tasteful than a phallic bottle? A BIG DESIGN DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

Perry Ellis 360 is a gorgeous perfume in the dry down phase with my chemistry. The first 45 minutes to an hour start slightly bright, sharp, and a bit too bold. There is a slight chemical type smell to it, almost like a plastic essence. By the end of the first hour, moving into the 2nd hour -- this perfume moves into the dry down phase - and this is totally GORGEOUS on! I simply love it on! -------- If you like Perry Ellis 360, but feel that it starts a bit too bright and sharp -- try IOLA Perfume. I just purchased this at Marshalls, they carry it too on Amazon.com. This is an incredible perfume - the longevity is between 12 -15 hours on my skin. Incredibly fresh, a bit musky - but not so powdery. It is kind of like a fruity shampoo. Sampled side by side by Perry Ellis 360, this is in the same exact type soprano chord range as Perry Ellis 360, but slightly more toned down and slightly more sophisticated. The sandalwood and vetiver in the base act as a really great base chord for the fruity florals in the upper register. If I were to compare Perry Ellis 360 to Iola, Perry Ellis 360 is a little bit more outgoing/extraverted/upbeat/fun/playful (like the cheerleader type personality)... comes on a bit stronger in the initial hour, then evolves into a softer approach in the dry down; this comes across like someone on caffeine - slightly amped up the first hour, then this tapers off to a more tolerable level - the second hour. Iola is more refined in the introduction and comes off slightly more sophisticated through the full wear of the perfume. Both could be worn to create a similar "signature genre" for different days and different purposes. They are like two sisters, closely related - but showing slightly different energy levels. Both are very good perfumes, I would keep in mind the perceived image that you want to have... subtle differences can determine how you are perceived. However, I'm on the fence with this - there are days and times when I would like more of an upbeat and outgoing perfume - then other days, the I would like to be a little more reserved, reflective.

Uma delas não resistiu e veio me perguntar o que eu estava usando, e falou tão bem e com tanto estusiasmo que ofereci um decant pra ela. Agora todos querem um decant também kkkkkkkkk Com ele me sinto limpa, chique e naturalmente cheirosa. A temperatura estava a 24o C nesta região do Brasil e o sucesso foi enorme. Quando cheguei em casa e contei pro meu marido o que havia ocorrido ele disse: sim, quando te abracei o cheiro ficou exalando em mim por umas 2 horas, ele é ótimo mesmo.

Somewhere down in the comments, SeauxGood mentions that Perry Ellis 360° smells like something we Gen-Xers would have worn back in the day. Yes. It does. That urge to smell like melon and water and soap defined the scent aesthetic of those early nineties days. We were coming off the eighties bombs, and vanilla was still something you smelled only in cakes and candles. Perry Ellis 360° provides a running average of what many of us wanted to smell like. Like fluorescent prints and acid washed jeans and Generra and Wayne's World , this fragrance can be tied to a specific time in fashion history - yet I would not call it dated. I prefer the expression haunting in the sense that it feels like the ghost of old times. The lily note is strong, a smoky lily with melon. It's also soapy and clean, probably the lavender. Yet there is a Grojsman DNA here. Maybe it is the way the rose is used. It ever so slightly brings to mind the rose in YSL Paris. Just barely. Because 80% of this is lily and melon. Clean, fresh, maybe tied to its time but if you were there in Generation X, this type of scent felt new and edgy. In a way it forms part of the definition of our generation, the latchkey middle-child generation raised on a certain amount of neglect that led to independence and distrust for institutions and systems. Cynical? Absolutely. But we loved to smell clean. It drew a line between us and our boomer parents who so often left us on the sidelines to find themselves. I love that when I put this on in the morning to go to work and come home at the end of the day, the house smells wonderful. How is that? Just this lingering wonderfulness. This stays on forever. Many years ago, an older gentleman at work was trying to nicely encourage me to wear something other than Ciara, which he found too loud. So he gave me a bottle of Perry Ellis 360 for my birthday. I've never been without it since. That was about 30 years ago. This is my go to fragrance. I never get tired of it. It's really lovely for any time of year. This fragrance lasts a very long time on me. It will be hours later and I'll all of a sudden catch a whiff of it and it's so so so nice. When I come home from work and walk back into my bedroom, I can always smell it. I do love this. Sometimes I get into the habit of using other smells and then I remember how much I enjoy wearing this. If you are looking for something that is light, lasting, and doesn't break the bank, this is a good option. Update: I put this on at 6:30 am today with no touch ups. I came home from work at 7pm. I walked outside to say hi to my husband and he immediately said, "you smell so good!". This is shocking for a number of reasons - 1) he has allergies and can normally NOT smell me after I just sprayed and 2) I had this on for over 12 hours. I asked him if it was a nice smell and he said, yes, very - Update Update: Sometimes I layer this. I spray this on my upper body area after my shower and then dirty it up by rubbing my fake Prada oil on my wrists. Very nice. They are both amber-ee.

Was at Shoppers here in Canada and found Perry Ellis 360° on the discount shelf. Started reading some reviews and one person said it smelled like Malibu Musk. Didn't need to read anymore. I'd been craving to smell MM for years now, so I bought it blind without smelling it for 22$. Well... let me tell you! It reminds me so much of MM, but not a perfect dupe. It's a haunting memory of what was, in the most beautiful form. Like we're holding a celebration of life for this lovely scent that followed us through our youth. I highly recommend picking this up if you can get your hands on it. It's not super strong, but neither was Malibu Musk. Lasts a few hours, longer on clothing and is so fresh! I'm not a fan at all of smelling like melons, but this one is well formulated so it's not overpowering and blends well with the other notes. It's missing some powder notes is all, from what I can tell.. Haven't smelled MM in ages, but this Perry Ellis 360° (white box) is taking me back. Perry Ellis 360° is less linear than Malibu Musk was, but it's lovely all the way through and if you snag it for discount like I have, you won't feel bad about having to respray in a few hours. I respray more often when wearing it at home because I love the initial blast reminder of Malibu Musk. It's beautiful the whole way through though. Edit: I oversprayed this today and it was strong lilies... it's many hours later and can still smell it. Love it.

I love PE 360. It is my signature scent. I have worn so many different perfumes and have never ever received as many compliments as with this one! I have literally had people follow me in stores to ask what it is. Never saw a perfume do that before. Children have told me I smell like clean clothes (I guess that is a compliment coming from them!) My husband says he loves to smell my shirts because they smell like "ME", and he always says I smell like Sunshine! Mind you, he does not notice perfumes nor does he know the names of perfumes, but he always notices MY smell and seems to love it. I was swimming in the pool one day with my mom and she was like "Oh my gosh, you smell SO good!" When I give people hugs they always tell me I smell good. It should definitely not be judged by the initial spray, which is rather sharp and fruity but rather about 30 minutes afterward. It dries down to a very beautiful smelling soft and happy floral and musk that lingers nicely on your clothes even days later. This is like a fresh clean scent but still sexy and feminine too. I swear to you that I have often wondered if there is something special like pheremones in here, because people just LOVE it. Maybe it's the lavender, vanilla, and lily of the valley combo...I really can't put my finger on it. This is very underrated. It is a pure smelling, good girl perfume, fresh and breezy.

It is very rude to say that this perfume smells like pee. I mean, if it did, do you really think all of these people would enjoy wearing it?! Apparently there are many people who think this smells great, because it has been in production since the 90's and still selling. Look up the reviews for this, and you will see that it got great reviews everywhere. I agree with the other reviewer who said maybe it is just your body chemistry or something. A lot of people love this and wear it and to classify it as "cat pee" is without class and offensive to all those who love to wear this lovely scent. There are a lot of fragrances that just don't smell good, too chemical, too strong, etc, depending on the person's chemistry and/or tastes. This perfume is wonderful on the right person and I have got more compliments on this than any other high end perfume I have ever bought. If you don't like it then maybe it is more polite to just say that it doesn't suit your taste or something rather than to say it smells like urine, which is ridiculous. To others who want a nice spring/summer/anytime scent that is FRESH FRUITY FLORAL and CLEAN, this may work for you. It did for me, and I will always love it.

Why did I buy Perry Ellis 360° Eau de Parfum, Body Lotion and Body Mist for the fourth time since discovering it in the nineties? 1. Because the dry down is simply gorgeous on me. 2. I'm 51, so it takes me way back to my twenties when I used to wear it while my kids were young and I truly miss those days. 3. A unique Sophia Grojsman creation that was extremely popular then, and stood the test of time in a very competitive market now, so it's definitely worth adding to my collection. 4. The true definition of long lasting perfume, especially when layered. 5. A compliment getter. Legit. 6. Really cheap compared to other expensive fragrances that perform very poorly considering their price tag.

PERRY ELLIS 360 EDT I love this. I received it as a gift in 1997 from a gentleman friend and have worn it off and on since that time. I am not typically a floral lover, but this is not a typical floral to me. It is fresh, grassy and nothing else smells like it. I don't get the lavender or the rose (maybe I don't know what to look for). Lily of the valley is definitely there, but not in an overly sweet way. I get a lot of green with this. I wish I was better at describing fragrance, some of you just amaze me with your eloquence. I have never tired of this fragrance and it is one of the few I will always have in my collection.

I’m such fan of Perry Ellis (360) I never tire of this or Beautiful edp there both Signature scents of mine. I’ve read reviews saying that the longevity isn’t good I also use too think 360 had poor longevity I smoked for years and I apparently had smokers nose where the smoke from the cigarettes had messed up my sense of smell almost all the perfumes I wore seemed fleeting and nonexistent once I quit smoking my sense of smells is 100% different Perry Ellis 360 last extremely long on me with 5 or 6 sprays it will stay on my clothes for weeks NO JOKE! This is one of my longest lasting perfumes. Just gorgeous.

I've been smelling this scent forever on middle aged women! The sillage makes me want to follow and sniff every time I smell it. Finally, one day a few years ago in the grocery store I smelled it on someone again! And asked her what it was and she said Perry Ellis. That's it. I made the mistake of buying the PE for women in the short bottle with rope around it. Then I came on here and read the notes and reviews on nearly every PE fragrance marketed for women. I was so happy that I found it & it's always been in my face in every Ross, TJ Maxx, etc lol

A true classic! All the awful reviews shocked me because this smell takes me right back to my childhood in the best way! It's a bit strong upon first spray but after a few minutes it settles down to a nice clean scent. It just works perfectly with my body chemistry & lasts all day! This had to be a signature scent of a lot of women in my life when I was younger because as soon as I spray it, it reminds me of all the 90s baddies I looked up to. That's exactly the type of feeling & nostalgia I want from a perfume! Love!

Back in the mid 90's, Walmart sold miniature bottles of fragrance samples, sometimes you could purchase a set of them. I was a curious teen who had really only ever worn the sunflowers fragrance from Avon. So, I purchased a set of several miniatures. I cannot recall them all, but do remember Perry Ellis 360 & Liz Claiborne. I felt so pretty wearing it, even though I was young. So much different than what teens these days are wearing, but nonetheless, a classic, nostalgic fragrance, for me.

What a thrill to wake up surrounded by lilies. Six spritz last night and I woke up close to a water garden including lily of the valley, which doesn't like my chemistry. Incredible blending of flowers. The description included LOTUS, a favorite note, but not included in the pyramid. I looked up the nose. Not surprised it is another creation by Sophia Grojsman. I may have discovered this perfume many years after its introduction, but to me, it is a treasure in a myriad of floral fragrances.

I adore green/citrusy frags and this did not disappoint. It is really, really, juicy and green. Drydown brings a hint of amber & musk. Sillage could be better, so it's a good work scent. I really like this, it's a scent that I don't have to think twice about wearing...if I'm in a rush, I'll just grab this because it will always please me. I'll be keeping my eye out at Marshalls and TJ Maxx for another bargain bottle; this is a fragrance I will keep coming back to.

This is my signature scent. I love love love it, since I first smelled it in 1994. I get so many compliments when I wear it. It must just work well with my chemistry. It works for me any season, any occasion. Those who don't like it, or say it smells like " cat's pee" (lol) it must just be a chemistry thing. I have found so many scents that I just love on a test strip, but can't wear them. Don't knock it, just because it's not right for you!

This makes a perfect bed fragrance. I'm not sure how many people have fragrances strictly for their bed but i definitely do and Perry Ellis 360° couldn't be more perfect for my bed. It's a soft, fresh, floral scent that's unlike any other. Smelling this as I'm laying in bed drifting off to sleep, makes me feel so much more relaxed. I have the fragrance mist and it last on my bed all day and night. I'll have to rate this fragrance a 10/10.

I love this perfume. It’s easily become one of my favorites. It’s fresh, floral and powdery. I’ve smelt this on women numerous times as a child and had no idea what I was smelling. But since this has been introduced to me as an adult I realized that I’ve always loved this fragrance! It’s super refreshing and womanly. I wear this and I have a certain confidence about myself. I have backups due to the price being so affordable also!

Out of all my many expensive perfumes over the years my ex said he loved this on me more than any of my higher end perfumes.. This isn’t a fancy perfume or fancy smell it smells just plain and simply clean. I love it and will always wear (360) it’s a favorite and has been known to be a signature for me at times. Edit: Sadly my mom isn’t crazy about (360) but she does admit that I smell really good in Perry Ellis.

To the review below me; I have never had a 6.8 oz of PE say made in China. All mine for 10 plus years says made in Hollywood Florida. I have never wore a perfumes in all the hundreds I have worn they have never said made in China? Now my Piano was made in China. Not any of the the fragrances I wear or have worn. They always say France or Italy and USA or London. Never China. How odd.

This is a classic 90's clean girl scent. My mother bought this for me in 1992 my freshman year of college. It opens with a melon and zesty citrus punch and slowly mellows down to a soft white floral and base note of a gentle musk and smooth vanilla. The longer you have this on the better it smells. Sophia Grojsman is a perfume artist.

I love PE (360), I wear it in Lotion form. My best girlfriend always complemented me when I was wearing the perfume so I let her have my bottle of PE edt. I think a lot of the time I prefer (360) in lotion form. I think this is such a beautiful scent, also the lotion last all day and sometimes into the next day. Just beautiful!!

My second review for 360. I keep reaching for this perfume over and over this summer. I've bought a second bottle. Lily, lotus, lotus, lily, melon, rose. Cool flowers. That's all I smell and I love every minute of it. Longevity is over 10 hours with my chemistry. Most appropriate and refreshing for hot summers. Sooo affordable.

I've worn PE (360) since it's launch and I've loved it ever since it's a very clean floral almost a salty note with lily and lots of musk! It's so lovely I'll always wear (360) This is a very intense perfume and I love that I wear like 4 or 5 sprays and it last 12+ hours and silage is incredible!

Such a masterpiece IMO❤️ One of the most unique fragrances ever created. This has been a signature over the years. I don’t get why ppl talk about poor longevity? This last on my skin for 24 hours and on my clothing weeks. Until washed. This is gorgeous, Fresh and clean. Perfection in a Bottle❤️

Wonderfully long lasting and rich for an EDT. The melon is not a strong as in D'Orsay's Tilluel, and the flowers have more presence. It's not sweet, but it is fresh, floral, and dewy. It feels like spring, and I'll wear it this summer. Yet another lovely fragrance from Sophia Grojsman.

My mother and sister wore this all through the 90s and in my nostalgia I bought a small bottle. Smells exactly as I remember. Theres nothing quite like it out there. Ive gotten into very soapy clean scents and this scratches that itch. Will be spraying this all spring/summer.

This fragrance is beautiful. It smells like the name. It encompasses every aspect of a woman, can be worn day or night dresses up or down but always a lady. Clean simple and long lasting. Medium throw, pleasant, and beautiful. I would wore this everyday until it was gone.

I got this for Christmas 2021 Idk what everyone smells but I Love It. I don't think I'm going to wear it out often. But to bed OMG I use the body wash. Oil down is the body mist, then use about 4 to 5 sprays of the edp and to bed I go

Very "juicy" smelling, for lack of a better word. Sweet, yet not cloying.Instantly lifts my mood. Delicious juicy, fruity "greenish" scent. I definitely smell the melon and lavender in this frag. Lovely, pleasant. A favorite of mine.

so beautiful, it's one green and aquatic fragrance that i don't mind at all, considering i mostly only like gourmand fragrances. it smells like a high-end hotel lobby, specifically caesar's palace in las vegas—a classic for sure.

The opening is a bit peculiar, but luckily this transforms into a beautiful laundry-fresh scent. This fragrance is all about the different lilies and clean musk. Perfect for summer. Good longevity and sillage too.

My favorite scent siince I was young. ❤️ I still love it despite the reformulation. But the original scent is ♥️♥️♥️. Best dry down. I haven't found a perfume similar to this scent.

If you want to smell clean, wear PE 360! Boy! Staying power of this is really amazing! Be it on skin or clothes! I think of all my perfumes, this one's got the best staying power!

Vintage parfum. The sage note is what sets this apart from standard 1990s aquatics and makes it very refreshing and aromatic, along with a bit of lavender. Great for summer wear.

I love it! This fragrance is a staple for me. It has that light powdery scent with a hint of citrus in it. This can be worn in a tropical country like the Philippines.

Aaaah Sophia! Your creations never fail to entice and amaze me...360 is no different. What this woman does with floral notes is nothing short of olfactive alchemy!! A tumpet blast of white florals unfurl on the first spray...creamy lilies, honeyed osmanthus and sensual blue rose. The fruits in the top (sweet melon and bright tangerine) never occlude the flowers only add to their depth *sniffs wrist again* Mmmm!! As the heart notes swirl up about the nostrils, they add to the floralcy and depth of the scent. Lady Lotus is holding court, along with the sheer green of Miss Muguet. The sage and lavender keep it smooth and down to earth; warm and clean, yet brisk. This perfume may have come out nearly two decades ago, but it is still stunning! For all the flowers scattered about, this is amazingly clean and well-balanced. It comes out of the bottle WOW!! and settles to Wow. Flowers fade and fruits fizzle; Ms. Grojsman knows this and used some of the most overused basenotes to bolster these beauties. (Just click on sandal, amber, vanilla, musk and vetiver if you don't believe me) The drydown is truly enchanting to me: warmly green, musky/woody and just oriental enough to charm without being incensey or resiny. Truly a magical scent (to me at least!) for the price that is asked... Sillage: great then very good Longevity: excellent Overall: 4/5 C'mon, it's a Grojsman!! I have NEVER smelled one of her children and not closed my eyes and rode a wave of perfumed wonder. This reminds me a bit of Neblina (without all the orchids) and though 360 is great, she is less "thick" and tropical than her sister from YR. Where Neblina is: "You Tarzan, Me Jane!", 360 is: "Hello, Sir...What a pleasure to meet you. Shall we sit and talk a bit?". Very ladylike and oh so "polished"...but there is something divine and shining (and a bit wild) under the surface... ;)

I spent some time with my mom smelling her perfumes today (honestly, best time I've had in months), and this is one of her old favorites. I'll never own it because of the strong association, but it was so pretty today when I tested it! It's strange to me that so many people dislike this...but I'm also a true 90s kid, and I personally love aquatics, melon...lily-of-the-valley...things like that. I think they're beautiful, cooling and lovely on one's skin. They remind me of carefree summers, and that's probably part of it. Still, I don't understand why some people have such strong negative reviews of this, I think this is BEAUTIFUL (ok, and one more caveat, I tend to enjoy Sophia Grojsman's work, so there's that). My mom's bottle is old, and yet has not gone off whatsoever. It opens with such a fresh, melony, watery, soapy feel...that it's the ultimate embodiment of cleanness. Gosh, it's lovely. The fruit tones done last, but it dries into pretty soapy florals. Very feminine overall, but in a "grown" way, it's not the waifish jasmine/white florals of today, these are more womanly overall and they smell...more distinct, for lack of a better word. The drydown turns truly unisex IMO, and the vetiver is actually what stands out most to me, it doesn't feel ambery at all. Vetiver is so interesting, because it's such a cooling basenote (look into traditional majmua fragrance blends) and it totally works. It was raining and chilly today, and this was beautiful in the weather, but it also felt like it's purpose was wasted a little, because this seems especially crafted for high heat. Overall? A freaking lovely throwback fragrance that I have personal nostalgia with. It's such a nice hiatus from the trends lately, and it's still worth seeking out.

This was a go-to of mine in the late 90s. I clearly recall finding it the most wonderful scent. It's interesting how remembering the fragrances we once loved can be a door to remembering the person we once were. I think I was working at a bank back then, dressing in khakis and crisp, button down shirts (I actually used to iron back then!), and Etienne Aigner leather flats. Back then, it was a safe fragrance for a twenty-something finding her place in the world, pursuing a sense of professionalism, and wanting to carry herself with a sense of self-assuredness. It had a certain twist to it — certain distinct notes that made it neither too loud nor too light. It hints at powderiness, but it never fully displays it. The longevity is enviable for the price, and the dry down continues to deliver solid performance. Though it smells exactly the same as it did years ago, it doesn’t move me the same way and I can't help but wonder what it was about it that caused me to love it so, once upon a time. I picked up a small bottle yesterday, and I like to wear it to remember all the reasons why it compelled me so. No, I don't love it anymore, but it seems a good enough scent to grab when you are unsure of what to wear, so long as you don't mind sporting a scent you no longer feel passionate about. It’s a bit like having an old boyfriend you once loved unreservedly, and still see here and there at work, since you work in the same building, but different departments. He’s still the same nice guy, and you both are still cordial to each other. No hard feelings, really — it just didn’t work out — so seeing him doesn’t disturb you, but you know when you see each other, you can’t help thinking of the past joy you once evoked in each other.

I just read Flippy's review of 360 and it made me laugh so much! She said the best way (for her anyway!) to wear this is to spray it in the air, wave clothing through the mist and then run! Then, after a few hours, apparently the scent smells divine! I bought a MASSIVE bottle (200ml / 6.8oz) of this as a total blind buy after reading some very positive reviews of it, thinking that the notes should make it smell clean and that, fingers crossed, I would fall in love with it at first sniff. Well, boy was I disappointed when I received it and sniffed it for the first time! To my nose it smelled a bit chemical'ish, a bit fake honeysuckle'ish (weird as I don't see honeysuckle in the list of notes!) and just overwhelming. Since then (about 2 years!) I didn't dare try it again and tucked it away, with my numerous other bottles of (frequently blind buy!) perfumes. But I just braved it and decided to give it another go. I didn't dare spritz it anywhere other than on my wrist, and just one spritz (although it sprays quite an abundant amount!). Luckily it's already starting to calm down a LOT, after about 10 minutes, and actually is starting to grow on me! I think it's definitely one of those perfumes that may need a bit of patience initially so that it can 'mesh' with the wearer's skin and body chemistry, which will bring out the best in it. Also, I have a feeling this might be a good perfume to experiment with and blend with another perfume. I'm thinking it might work well with Elizabeth Arden's 'Splendor' ... I'll have to give it a go! Oh, as for some reviewers saying this smells of cat piss - not to me it doesn't. If anything I would say it's more of a soapy type of perfume (after awhile), which is not a bad thing!
