Reserve

I find this a green perfume....smells fresh and not unpleasant but the top notes can be very overpowering. I don't leave the house for at least 45 minutes... :-) The middle is the most delightful for me...the dry down is just ordinary but nice enough. The soapy fragrance does end the top notes...not crazy about smelling like soap..feel that way about some perfumes that make me feel like I smell like a grapefruit.

I've been wanting a perfume with a chamomile note for the longest time. This was a random gift from my husband and it's perfect. Fresh, lemony, green and exceptional for the workplace. Spring and summery. If you are looking for a chamomile note, this one is a nice one. Edit: every chemistry is different. The scent on me lasts and has stayed on my cardigan a couple of days.

Green and lemony is a great way to describe this! I agree with the people that said it should be labeled as green rather than floral. Maybe there are flowers in it but I can't really smell them. If this type of scent appeals to you, then it's a great perfume. It doesn't try too hard. I personally like it a lot. It's just very natural smelling in a citrusy/green way.

Reserve is in my top 3 of summer freshies.. a bright blend of green herbal and ginger with a beautiful honeyed chamomile swirling around the scent bubble.. The performance is better than some of overpriced hyped perfumes on the market. Reserve is a hidden gem imo : )

If there was a bottled scent of the Amazon...it would be this. A wet, mossy, adventurous tromp thru dense foliage, with an occasional whiff of botanicals. I love it! Although it reminds me of a heated jungle, I'm enjoying it under layers of cotton and a denim jacket.

This perfume surprised me with how lovely and fresh it is! It kind of reminds me of Calvin Klein's Euphoria at first, but it dries down into a beautifully fresh and green lingering fragrance. I love the subtle notes of sandalwood and patchouli!

Love! Bright, fresh, floral and clean. Surprised this isn't a 360 flanker as it feels cut from the same cloth. No wonder I love it. You're gonna have to pry the 90s freshies from my dead clutches.

Reminds me very much of Romance. It's very lemony/woody to me. Masculine. Clean. Very pretty - will keep.

Huele como a cascara de limon para mi; cascara de limon con un toque de vainilla dulce. No se mucho de perfumes, para ditinguir cada nota; es con lo que puedo relacionarlo. Dura un par de horas bastante detectable. Yo lo aplique en muñecas, cuello y un poco en la blusa bajo el cuello. Se detecta solo en la piel despues de ello; deja un aroma a vainilla y limon dulce. Es agradable, aunque puede cansar despues de un rato. Por lo cual es ideal su tiempo de duracion. It smells like lemon peel to me; Lemon peel with a hint of sweet vanilla. I don't know much about perfumes to distinguish each note; that's what I can relate it to. It lasts a couple of hours quite detectable. I applied it on wrists, neck and a little on the blouse under the neck. It is detected only on the skin after that; It leaves an aroma of vanilla and sweet lemon. It's nice, although it can get tiring after a while. A reason for its duration to be ideal.

I keep up with my laundry as much as the next person, but this perfume makes me think I hold the secret to having the best smelling laundry around. There’s something so clean, fresh and airy about Reserve. It seems to have a quiet confidence. Interestingly, what I’m smelling is different from the notes listed, although I agree with the list of accords. I’m not good at note picking - I do get the fizzy warmth of ginger, and the perky freesia, but I also get the impression of musk with a hint of calone. I wonder if this could be a component of the lotus note, although it’s not an aquatic perfume as such. Reserve starts off strong but give it time - it settles to a lovely, soothing, mellow scent. Quite the pick-me-up for spring and summer.

I used to own this years ago and I remember liking it, but not being something really amazing. I tested it out today and yeah, it smells green and fresh, not really floraly. My problem with this perfume is that it doesn't last on me. I used to spray and spray and spray and it totally disapears after a couple of hours. So much so I had to go back to test it again to remember what it smelled like. I had totally forgoten about it. The drydown is softer and less green. It smells mostly of patchuly with an spicy kick. Soft and unofensive (unless you dont like patch). I would consider buying it again if it lasted longer on me or if the sillage was better, cause, again, it just stays so so close to the skin to finally fade.

Very clean and fresh, perfect for spring and summer days. It has a subtle earthy note (a little bit like wet soil) that I enjoy so much and its very different from the citrusy perfumes that are commonly recommended for summer. Unfortunately it performs poorly on me: it lasts 3 hours at most and the sillage is weak, so i have to reapply often. Edit. After a while I've realized that it has a very good sillage and longevity. I don ́t know why I felt before that it had a poor perfomance. People notice when I wear it. And they like it. Is very green. I shines in the hotter days.

I really like this! It does remind of Romance by Ralph Lauren, but Reserve is less screechy and more likable on my skin. For those looking for something similar to Romance with a lower price point, Reserve is an excellent alternative. Usually, perfumes with ginger don't set well with me, but the sandalwood and violet offset this somehow. Patchouli is present in the drydown, gently amplifying green aspects of this perfume. Lasting power and sillage is average. The body spray is perfect for early morning walks on a cool spring day.

I like this since its close to citrus like america and its pretty universal. Then I like the original. I would buy reserve again I think.

This is not an 'aged' chypre fragrance – don't let the name, color of the bottle and notes fool you. Or, at least not anymore. I'm reviewing a bottle from 12/2024. It's a floral fragrance built around roses and violets: sweet and fresh, quite light too, despite the herbal background of oakmoss, violet leaves, with a touch of sandalwood – it gives 'after the rain' kind of a vibe. There is no harshness or bitterness (patchouli, marigold). Modern-ized, but still very well blended. However, I must add that it did age over time – the scent became more intense, but also sweeter, so much that I mostly do layer it with another green fragrance to give it some additional depth. Btw, if you had any naughty thoughts by looking at the bottle... so did the brand – with a name like Falic Fashion Group one would expect nothing less. But they did it stylishly, of course. Also, very inclusively – men and women (still) have plenty of colors and scents to choose from. Take your pick. ;)

Bought it, used a couple of times in the spring, and decided that it wasn't for me. This is a meadowy-sunny-fresh clean type of scent, and shines beautifully in spring, but in the summer it become too cloying and too... old fashioned, more suitable for 45-yo nurse or someone as motherly-gentle than me in my late twenties, looking for some edge and originality while staying professional.

I won't deny that this perfume smells really good when you sniff the bottle, somehow it smelled like pee on my skin. Perry Ellis Reserve and me did not get along really well. I was very sorry with my mom because she gave it to me on my 17th birthday (even bought the whole set) but she agreed with me that this fragrance wasn't for me.

I bought this unsniffed last year and I am still trying to get rid of it. Smells very "80s" to me and too green for my liking. My husband uses it as an air freshener because he knows I won't wear it. lol

I love this because it is very clean and refreshing. perfect for the summer months and very light. it does have sumwhat of a soap smell to it but who doesnt like soap?

omg i take that review back it smells horrid when i wore it. too strong and it reminded me of my grandma. not that she smells horrid...

So I have stayed away from any Perry Ellis over the years ever since my 360 phase was well over. I was looking for another Summer scent and sprayed this. At first intrigued, then I liked, then I didn't at the 20 minute mark or so it just turned beautiful. It is very hard to describe but that is what makes it interesting. It is not sweet, has a scent which other than saying I do get some Freesia Lotus mix but the combination is unlike anything I have smelled. The Patchouli does come through in the end too. Usually I can pin point and post a better description but you simply need to smell it on yourself to see what I am talking about. The price is good, it lasts about 5-6 hours. I will be back with my Ah-ha moment when I can think of similarites or more details of what I am getting from it to be helpful. I think it is a surprising one that for those of you, like me are always looking for something that smells unique, and has that something special in it that makes you adddicted to smelling yourself all day long.

This was a blind buy and most of them are regrets but not this. I do love it right away. Love the top notes and the bottom notes are still good. It gave me an 80s vibe as someone below said. I smelled it in the 80s or 90s. Then I realized the dry down is very similar to Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds that everyone's mom was wearing in the 90s. I liked it if sprayed only faintly but not in a loud blast as most were doing. Now I have smelled this scent -the drydown only- on fresh linen scented trash bags at Walmart lol. It's White Diamonds. The top and heart are very green. and maybe white diamonds is too but I think linen because of the association. Overall, it has a shampoo vibe a clean green vibe that I enjoy. Not my signature but one I will put in my lineup. I got the body mist which is safe for work and the dog park, just doing nothing. casual wear. I could swear I smell vetiver in here, like in the white bottle, but it's not listed. It's the one note after a few days of wear that I'm not loving.

I have a really bad habit of buying perfumes that I have never tried before. Chalk it up to my perfume addiction. Reserve was one of those instances. On first spritz it smells almost exactly like 360.Just "white", lemony although lemons are not in the notes. Has a soapy appeal to it, but not unpleasant at all. I kept waiting for the patchouli.I love my patchouli. I had almost given up when alas, there is my patchouli. But not nearly enough for me.All in all it is a pretty fragrance, really clean and fresh. Totally different than most of my perfumes as I like the really spicy dark orientals. But it is a nice surprise.I dont know that I would classify it as an oriental though, at least not on me. On me it's more of a citrusy floral.

Very fresh and clean. A straight out of the shower feeling scent. Shares similarities with RL Romance and JLo Still. A load of freesia and chamomile. Lotus makes it feel aquatic. It also has a mossy, herbal angle to it. This would be a great fragrance for people who don't like smelling "perfumey" because it's very clean. I think it could even classify as unisex in that way. Like you got caught in the rain in some fantasy forest.

Aromatherapy in a bottle.Green,Sweet,fresh and floral.Bought it on clearance sale,Long lasting,soothing,calming, daytime summer time use. I have a collection of high end perfumes but I keep reaching for this.I love the patchouli sandalwood combo.dry down reminds me of jlo still.But it was too flowery for me.This scent has chosen me and iam honoured.

This is one of my go-to scents for Spring & Summer!! I have an older bottle so perhaps this explains why I love it so much while other reviewers cannot seem to find anything good about it. Vintage scents tend to be made from better ingredients - the ones that are the first to get removed during reformulation - and this one is old enough to have been reformulated several times.

reserve is beautifull it is so strong and femenine some what saying im a woman strong and i have rights i do what i please so what . its clean , refreshing and so strong in its floral scent its earthy and green its more of a mature scent like ages 30+ and its strong in long lasting i love it . it does remind me of euphoria and PE's 360 .

I agree that this should be labeled as a green perfume. I love the top notes. I don't find them overbearing at all. It seems to fade very fast without much transition between notes on me. Lasts about 4 hours.

It is not as fresh and spring like as the original 360, I am not as good at describing scents as most here are, but I do find it to be heavier, so it does not serve the same purpose that the original did.

Close cousin of still by Jlo.its more green and lemony.Jlo is more jasmine.dry/end notes of sandalwood almost identical.I think I like Jlo better,its fresh light flowery and its more longlastin on me.

This does not smell like an oriental to me at all. It's a fresh,soapy floral and just a little fruity. Almost a Chypre. For whatever reason, Perry Ellis fragrances just don't work on me.

It wore a little heavy on me. I don't think that I sprayed too much, but its a pleasant one.

Definitely smells like ginger soap. It is fresh and green. Has no longevity.

Is it in shops and stores nowadays?????
