The New Error

I'd like to introduce this review by saying that it's an honour for me to be the first to comment this perfume and one of the first comments for Pesade in general. I met them during Excence and beside their estreme kindness and humany, what struck me more is the professionalism and the research behind the profuct. Each of their fragances are the products of a in-depht research in terms of raw material and note combination selection and naming too! They have nothing to do with the average brands that in the last few years have been attending Excense without presenting anything appealing nor interessing, it's just a flat combination of fragrances that try to imitate drug store perfumes in a overpriced way. Instead here we have a brand capable of creating something deep. For example I invite you to read the presentation Pesade gave to this perfume: scent for those who don't want to be defined, subtle, three-dimensional, and undefined. And this exatly the sensation you get the first time you try this fragrance: you can smell immediately the cirtrus notes but they're already mixed with something cozy, that this the combination of tea, sesame and rhun. It's the perfect choice if you don't like the citrus based fragances, because here we don't have the typical citrus scent, but it' more about candied orange and cozy atmosphere (thanks rum!), that's why it's preferable for Fall. The perfume is classified as spicy but honestly I can't smell it. What I can smell straight, in addition to citrus, is the tea. Actually this reminds me of a drugstore fragrance my mum gave me as a present when I was 12 (for the Italians: acquolina al te verde !) that was basically a green tea flavoured body Spray, maybe that's why I can detect so easily this note (and gives me a lot of good vibes!). As said, this is a tea warmed by rum and it's incredibile how the latter stays in the background without being too much "intrusive", it's the first time I try a rum based fragrance without smelling it but just a light nuance. Rose + musk + cedarwood gives the final touch of elegance, because yes, this is the perfume for those who don't want to be defined but for sure for someone elegant that doesn't like to be in the limelight but still remembered.
