Boudoir Belle (Rose)

Couldn’t be described better than the previous reviewer (GRAF). Indeed a very linear scent, Dove soap it is - and that’s what’s so addictive - linear soapy musk without going into cloying territory. It gives a feeling of being very comfortable and “at home” all through the day. Quite impressive, how potent and long lasting it is.

This is very potent, linear, versatile and simple scent. It smells exactly like Dove soap on steroids. It opens like Dove soap and it remains till the end. After many hours a light sweetness emerges. It has "rose" in its name but.. rose is the weakest in this blend. Dominant notes are ylang, musk, aldehydes and mild benzoin. The rest notes are very mild. It leans to femnine scents imo. Beware, most creations of this house stain slightly the clothes.

As a 80s kid this reminds me of my grandmothers makeup case. The air spun and powder compacts. It’s airy, powdery, with a slight sweetness. A hint of white bar dove soap and aqua net hair spray. Absolutely unique and classic. A very well kept woman in pearls or a soft woman at work. I really like it.

Good fragrance but it does not carry the wow factor by any means. It is very similar to Lorenzo Teint de Neige. Its nice in the begginig but it later turns into a old talcum powder smell. I do not gravitate to that kind of powder but I think it can smell good on a woman in spring or fall.

This scent is all about powder and petals. The aldehydes hit first with a clean, airy feel, then the rose and ylang-ylang bloom softly. It settles into something cozy with musk and vanilla. If you love scents that smell like classic makeup and floral soap, this one delivers.

Loud, strong and long lasting scent, not much going on here, the scent stay almost the same with the time, which is good. The scent ist beautifull, lot of musk on beginning and velvety vanilla on the end. Heavy but little bit empty. I will give it three stars of five.

Very powdery. Instantly reminded me of brazil and my grandma. Something with pink soap and possibly a muted powdery giovanna baby. I like it. Definitely hits my nostalgia and makes me feel comforted.

I am a huge fan of powdery scents, but I really cannot stand Chanel No:5. This perfume reminds me very much of No 5 with its overdose on aldehydes, the soft florals, the dusty powderiness. This is not for me, but for those loving Chanel’s classic this might be a love ☺️

baby powder, turns a bit sweeter after a while

I sprayed this fragrance and it instantly brought me back to my grandma‘s boudoir in the 80s. Very powdery smell. Regrettably it smells very old and outdated to me.

On me this is soft and powdery, but quite strong. Vaguely reminds me of Chanel No.5, but somehow better. I do get the rose, but my body chemistry tends to amplify rosy notes. I also get hints of almond peeping in and out. If the color powder-pink hand a scent, this would be it. Brings to mind an old Holywood starlet sitting at her vanity in a feather-trimmed robe and matching mules with a big fluffy powder puff in her hand. The name says it all really.
