Faith for Fantasy

A great fragrance, quite fresh to my nose. It lasts very long and the projection is very good. I've worn it twice so far and have gotten compliments from multiple people both times, even a couple of people that have specifically said they don't usually like musk perfumes. If you don't want strong musk this isn't for you, as it is mainly a musk scent that won't change almost at all throughout the time you wear it. If you do like musk though this is for you.

This perfume gives a lot of BR 540 vibes and I absolutely love it. To me it smells almost identical. I don’t smell praline or other sweet notes, but just as some other people I don’t have that either with BR. If you like BR, then this is definitely up your ally!

This one surprised me. It smells like warm wood. Very cozy. Might come off a bit strong during the first hours. I've never worn a fragrance like it before. I was somewhat self-conscious about the musk although I enjoyed it. As others noted, there is a sweetness to it which I quite like but cannot place. It's definitely not "gourmand" to me. I might try it again. Don't know if I'm ready to commit to a full bottle just yet.

When I was 18, I had a co-worker I would commute to work with by bus. We were friendly but not very close. Every morning she would bathe in a cheap sickly sweet perfume I assume she'd gotten off a drugstore. I would loathe having to see her. It all got worse when she was invited to a house party and she got so drunk that she vomited all over the living room. Now, the assaultingly horrendous scent of her perfume mixed with the stench of her vomit so well that from then on out I would always smell vomit whenever I'd smell her perfume. Faith for Fantasy reminds me of it. And I'm so mad about it because the main accords / notes don't make it sound SO SWEET. Unfortunately, I had to get rid of the tester strip immediately. Now, what to do with the sample, I don't know. I wouldn't want to wish it upon my worst enemy. But also, I'd rather not run into more people who smell like this on the street (it happens surprisingly often). EDIT: To the person obove me: same. I am sick of these sweet scents in the calender. But I should have known, Pafory is full of them.

05/24 It’s very sweet on me, too sweet. Definitely not up my alley. Even my partner doesn’t like it and he likes sweet and heavy scents.
