Amazing Grace Bergamot

Oh I love love love it! If you like bbw White Citrus, or crisp bright fresh citrusy scents or gender neutral cleeean fragrances, this is the one 😍 Be warned, like all of Philosophy, it doesn’t last long at all (sad) but it’s so worth it. I just keep huffing my own wrists. If you’re depressed, this is such a happy buzzy pickmeup! ✨ I saw some people say it smells like bathroom cleaner, and I would just like to know what fantastic brands ya’ll are using lol! Because it smells FAR too good to be a Glade product 🤩

This is a bright & cheerful scent, immediately makes me think of the clean girl aesthetic. If I was one, this would be my signature. It's not super complex, and I definitely get what they mean when they say it smells like clean linen. The downside is the poor longevity, but I can forgive that in an EDT. I would spray this on days when it's warm out, or if I feel like I need a little pick me up. Not sure if I'll repurchase when it's gone, but I enjoy it.

i finished the ENTIRE bottle of this fragrance. i loved the scent, so fresh and clean. I feel like it's overpriced for an eau de toilette. I love the fragrance, but it performs like a cheap body spray. longevity isn't great, nor is sillage. i wish it came as an actual eau de parfum. those are my only complaints. i love bergamot heavy fragrances, and this one is towards the top of my list. only wish it lasted longer.

Not long-lasting or powerful enough to turn heads, but exactly strong enough to dry down into an inoffensive, clean scent. Perfect for covering up the bowl you smoked before going into work for a job you hate. I really only get the bergamot in the beginning before it dries down to a scent more like the OG Amazing Grace.

I like it, I got it as a sample but it smells good! I don't know if i would buy this myself, but the fact I'm questioning it says enough! I'm not great at describing scents but it smells clean and clear. It has a bit of sweetness to it and i love it! I might just buy it....

Smells like fresh air and clean lemon Italian ice. It very much gives the scent family of men's cologne and Black Ice air freshener but if it was feminine and delicate. Super fresh and bright. Yasss, love it

i love this scent! it is perfect for my taste. i like bergamot as a main note. at first it's strong but on my skin becomes very pleasant. my only issue is that it didn't last long as long as i wish to.

My favorite of the amazing grace line. It isn't long lasting though. It's a skin scent on me, and bends with my skin chemistry very well. I like smoky, musky, herby, bergamot sort of scents. So maybe that would give context to anyone. I love the bergamot in this. It isn't groundbreaking, and I would love if this was a body spray so I could spray it all over my clothes as a baseline. Or a body lotion for $35. But not something I think I would want to spend my money on for a full bottle of EDT. I don't think there would be enough in the bottle anyways for the way I envision using this. I definately wish I could have a lotion in this so I can smell like this every time I come out of the shower. It just smells really soft and comforting. Typical skin scent. Good baseline, wish my skin could smell like this all the time, good thing to layer with, no sillage. Just if someone hugged or cuddled with me they would smell it. I wish it was in a lotion!

I have a sample of this. Clean, crisp linens and citrus. Simple, nice, fresh. Would be a good gym or after-shower scent, or just a scent for when you want something casual and easy to wear. Would be light enough for the hottest of days. Does not last long or project well, but I suppose that is to be expected for an EDT with a clean and fresh scent profile. Contemplating buying it for $26 for 0.5 oz, which is an okay price for what it is. It's the closest I've come so far to the laundry scent of my dreams. This is a very fresh, sharp, and bright citrus fragrance. I love bergamot and this has such a lovely fresh and clean quality to it. It makes me think of a cool shower and refreshing fruity shower gel or shampoo. The longevity sucks on this EDT, you'd be lucky if you could get 2-3hrs out of it? It sits light on the skin, but I don't mind touch-ups here and there and it's nice to wear when you're relaxing at home or on particularly warm days. I'm not sure if I'd get a larger size or repurchase, but I do love this scent.

This is my bed time favorite. It is cool, clean, light and feminine. Not mature, but ageless. Smells very similar to Hermes Le Jardin de Monsieur Li eau de toilette. Some have said that it has no longevity, but I can smell it on my pajamas, pillow and sheets after a few days. My room always smells like it. It is a fresh scent, but way to floral to be worn by a man. Great value for the price. Comes with layering options also. I keep the lotion and spray in my guest bathroom and everyone loves it.

It's nice enough. As you might guess, it's a light floral similar to the original Amazing Grace but with just a touch of candied citrus. It's good for the price and would be a safe gift. I can't imagine many people disliking this one. It would work well for any casual situation during the warmer months of the year. I don't plan on purchasing it since I already own something similar, but I'd still recommend it for anyone looking for a soft simple scent.

I am not partial to most of Philosophy's scents but this one was surprisingly delicious and fresh! I'm not great at distinguishing individual notes but to me it's a a clean citrusy floral that feels a little one dimensional on it's own, which is why I don't feel inclined to own it... however, it could be very nice for layering. Still very enjoyable and I'd love it as a linen spray.

Simple citrus and floral. No longevity at all. I'll use it up because I like it, but I wouldn't get more. Edit: I really like it for layering, a burst of juicy freshness to zhuzh up a muskier/woodier fragrance. Edit2: It's growing on me. Nice mood booster.

big fan of bergamot and this one is really pretty. it doesn't last as long as i'd like, but it's also not super expensive. it's a nice fresh spring/summer citrus and fun to pair with something orange or vanilla, like an oil.

Like this a lot. Great for someone who doesn't like an overpowering fragrance. Nice and light. Floral but not overpowering...must be the bergamot. Floral, female scents can be too sweet for me. Not sweet, more fresh.

Perfect summer/spring fragrance. Doesn't last super long, so a good perfume for day-time. The citrus and bergamot perfectly cuts the floral scent, making all the notes blend perfectly well together. Love it.

Great choice for bergamot lovers. This is primarily a citrus scent with a teensy bit of floral and musk to round things out. As a citrus-lover, I like it a lot!

Lemons and lilies and sunshine and warm summer days. The bergamot leans into lemon cleaner. The musk is mild and pleasant. I like this one!

top note bergamont, middle note is a touch of bergamont and bergamont, and the base note is bergamont. i like that it's not very sweet.

I got this as a gift, and while I appreciate that very much, I keep it real. Maybe too real... The good news with this flanker, is that the bergamot is truly gorgeous. It has a 2000s feel to it, which I cannot adequately describe with words. Things now often smell...different, sweeter, and less bracing. This is quite fresh. The "Amazing *Grace*" thing puzzles me, because I actually think the original and the flankers I've tried have all veered to the abrasive side. This is no criticism, I'm not someone who wants or needs all of my fragrances silky or "well-blended". But these don't have a graceful quality to me, they're kind of unrefined. This has some white florals within it, but they're not distinct, and I personally cannot tell what they are. They could be called "freesia" as far as I'm concerned, and indeed smell like a 2000s "freesia" accord. This settles into an aggressively clean musk rather quickly, and carries a large portion of the original AG's signature profile into the dryown. I see why people complain about the harsh "cleaner" quality here, the original and flankers are, again, rather abrasive. The musk is more interesting to me now than when I first tried the original, and it's striking how the common musk in modern fragrances released lately is usually a softer, floofy, white laundry musk. Not this hardcore, bleachy musk. The particular musky gives this fragrance a throwback vibe, and doesn't smell like a GenZ styled fragrance, despite the fact that this is still sold in stores. It's a super bergamot-y, unabashedly clean, obnoxious musk that becomes a skin scent in under 2 hours.

the first time i smelled this, it was right after i got off a weekend club volleyball practice in eighth grade. it was very cold and my friend’s older sister wanted to go to ulta before we went home. and i smelled this. it was like my third eye opened. IT HAD BEEN COLD! JANUARY! MIDWEST NASTINESS! and amazing grace bergamot took me to the lake i went to during the summer with my whole family and still to this day, those are the best memories i have. it just screamed summer and joy to me. so obvi i bought it the next week with my hard earned cash. silly me had no concept of the effect of skin chemistry and it turned out this fragrance was straight up chemical sunscreen on me. but, this was my first big girl perfume and it gave what it was supposed to give before it was on my skin and holds a place in my heart.

So this one...to me it's STRAIGHT bergamot. It never changes, and it lasts WAY longer than you would think a scent that's practically all citrus would. I tried it with a vanilla solid perfume base, and it mellowed out a little bit, but is still overwhelmingly screamy bergamot. I love bergamot so, yay? But I am seriously considering Frankenstein-ing my bottle with some kind of base note fragrance oil just to give it something else. Maybe this one is good for layering. Anyone got a good combo for that?

This fragrance smells amazing! I love the fresh bergamot so much. What I DONT love is the longevity, lasting power, or sillage of this fragrance... so dissapointing. The travel spray alone is $30 USD and for a perfume that barely lasts past the dry-down. You're better spending money on any other bergamot perfume. Seriously. ANY.

the citrus spray upon first scent dries down into fresh linen smell. i'm not really sure how i feel about this one.. to me, it smells like the spray i use to clean the counters. not particularly a scent i would wear due to that correlation. i don't hate it, it's inoffensive, light, but not my taste.

It's okay. I bought it as a blind buy and I'm not crazy about it. The opening is giving floral soy sauce to me, I'm not sure why. On skin, it is more powdery with the light smell of citrus and floral. Good for summer and spring because it's light and airy. In winter you'd hardly get to smell it

Not really interested wearing this one. Airy fresh bergamot and LOTV. Musk is nice, and I like it more when I finally get Orange Blossom. Fresh but longevity isn't the best. Maybe 2 hours on my skin. Just not an exciting perfume to me...

fresh and clean, i like it better than it's sunscreeny counterpart. almost has a sterile smell?? inoffensive, i rotate between this and the jasmine version when i've forgotten to put on anything (i keep them at my office)

It’s soapy and clean, with almost no real citrus. The bergamot is there if you squint, but I get mainly soapiness. It reminds me of a linen spray.

This is a crisp citrus and fresh spicy fragrance for very hot weather, but it isn't the best quality. A bit synthetic. The more I smell it the more I agree w/ the review down below, smells like house cleaner. Just downgraded it to a dislike.

I wanted so badly to love this. It has all my most favorite notes. But what I get is a rather astringent citrus cleaner smell with musk. No florals, nothing soft. It’s not even a particularly nice bergamot smell. What a waste.

All I get is peach. That and an obsession that it's not projecting and it's not doing anything and that I actually need expensive ones, like Amouage and Xerjoff.

I've been a very casual lurker on this site for years now but this scent made me create an account so I could leave a review. I'm not sure what note it is, but -something- in this smells so disgusting and headache inducing to me. Probably the Bergamot? I don't even smell a hint of the original Amazing Grace, just a sharp, heavy, synthetic-yuck. I've seen the comparisons to bathroom cleanser but honestly I think bathroom cleanser smells better than this. I really hate it lol

Got a complimentary decant of this for signing up for scent bird. Nothing amazing or graceful about this. It’s really bad. It smells like a cheap synthetic lemon bathroom air freshener. That’s what I’ll use it for anyway. Stay away. 1/10

This is a foul fragrance. Disgusting. Lemon toilet cleaner. Way overpriced. I wouldn't recommend it at all. There are much better perfumes out there. If you want organic, try Pacifica.

I did not like this at first. Too aquatic, too unisex, too too too. Something in it beguiled me, though. I found that it was a really lovely scent just before bedtime. Soothing and somnolent. I bought a big bottle of the lotion, which is simply divine and pairs well with many other frags. I dunno, Try this one. It is really strong bergamot as promised. The floral label is very pretty, too.

I’m a big bergamot lover, as well as musky spicy skin scents. I don’t LOVE this but it’s easy to grab for days I don’t know what I want to wear or I’m going to be outside and don’t want to “waste” a more interesting scent.

Light, citrusy scent. Fleeting but easy to wear on a daily basis. Bought this the day my grandma passed away as I was craving a light, comforting scent.
