Amazing Grace Magnolia

fruity and floral; I don't get much soap in this (compared to Chanel especially). I sprayed it on in the morning and at work I had people ask me what I was wearing because it smelled delicious to them. At that point I had gotten used to the scent so didn't really smell it on me any more (kind of a bummer, but I guess as long as I smelled good that's okay). I like to spray it on before bed because it has such a lovely soft floral smell.

First of all, I hate floral scents. They give me migraines and make me nauseated. But this is one that I can wear without feeling like I want someone to pellet me with Sumatriptan and Zofran. It starts off as a clean, refreshing floral that is not the least bit heavy, then wears throughout the day into something that is woody and musky. I adore this. I would absolutely buy this again.

If you like the smell of Downy fabric softener Bliss/Amber Blossom then you will like this ! They are not similar but the scents would bring out the best in each other.

This is really good, and I actually (I'm pleased to report) enjoy it a lot more than other Philosophy fragrances so far. The opening is a really enjoyable fruity affair, but not *juicy* if you known what I mean. The bergamot is crisp and there's a little tartness. This has some character, although it isn't loud (probably nothing from the brand ever has been or will be), but it isn't at all unique. Still, the magnolia here is recognizable and it does have enough body for a while to be worth purchasing. I do wish longevity was an hour or two better, but it manages to stick around for about 3, which is passable, and some of that is probably owing to the clean laundry musk. It's *pretty* and entirely sundress worthy.

perfume for those who aren’t particularly into perfumes - no shade intended, what i mean is it’s really quite likeable and very inoffensive. if i wanted to smell good to mostly anyone i would wear this - if only it had more projection! it sits close to the skin which is unfortunate because if the sillage was stronger i would be inclined to reach for this much more often than i do. soft, flowery w a hint of citrus, powdery. very feminine and floral without pulling elderly and old-fashioned or too juvenile. sadly bc of the weak sillage i don’t blame other reviewers for relegating this perfume to mainly bathroom or bedtime use!

I bought a sample after smelling it in the store so I could have some wear time without committing to a full bottle. I haven't worn it yet, but I did test it on a piece of tissue and there is a lot of rubbing alcohol smell in the beginning. I waited for it to dry and when I smelled it again, there was an interesting unisex-ish vibe going on and I think it's the driftwood/musk combo causing an almost masculine smell that I actually like. I will say that I like the smell of the body was much more than the actual perfume--smells much sweeter and clean.

Received a sample. I enjoy the scent more on my blouse after taking it off and hanging in my closet than I did while I was wearing it. Longevity on skin 6+ hours, on clothes days. Silage moderate, and great for an extremely warm day. Pleasant, non offensive, A nice floral for those of us who don’t much care for floral scents. I wouldn’t purchase a bottle for myself but if received as a gift I would be pleased.

Very generic floral perfume at first sniff! Then as it sits, the musky scent blends with the floral. I love Ballet Rose and Nude Rose from Philosophy, and this gives off a different vibe from those 2. This is more "mature" to use, definitely works well as a work perfume. However, the longevity is disappointing... but seems like it applies for all the other Philosophy fragrances I have.

pretty generic and plain, but probably one of the more tolerable Amazing Grace perfumes . no stand out notes apart from soap and a bit of flowers.... can smell a lot of musk in this one, wish it was a bit juicier tbh

I mean, it’s ok. Very generic, not very juicy. Not as soapy as Pure Grace or Amazing Grace. Sits so close to the skin but

I’m not a big citrus person, but I found that this perfume compliments my body’s natural chemistry and scent very well.

I really liked this one at first. It's definitely more of a unisex fragrance in my opinion. The magnolia is there and so is the musk. But sadly, something about the Amazing Grace line evokes a nauseating headache in me. I think I have an allergy to the Philosophy ingredients. Magnolia was the pleasant one out of the whole line, but I just can't deal with the side effects. Definitely overpriced. But it's not a terrible scent in general for those who can tolerate it.

A very safe yet unmemorable floral scent. Opens with a lovely burst of citrus and hints of nectarine, which is the most pleasant part of the fragrance. However, the dry down is a nondescript floral musky scent that, similar to AmberWoods, is headache inducing for me. I would recommend this for those who are still young and new to fragrances as an easy reach addition to their collection.

A soft, delicate, and pretty floral. Very feminine. Sadly, on me, the perfume becomes a skin scent very quickly. I bought Amazing Grace Jasmine as that worked better with my body chemistry.

This is like the most generic Floral Perfume Smell ever. Like if you had to imagine a stereotypical women’s perfume this would be it. Just not exciting at all — which some people prefer!

Smells very much like a old Avon bodywash that you would have used as a child it’s dry down is quite powdery and reminds me of a grandmother

light, safe and generically floral - probably a good first perfume for a teen. For me, I have put it in the bathroom as a room spray

in the beginning i smell bergamot and nectarine. there's something else in there but it does not read as magnolia or any of the other notes. maybe driftwood? i don't know, it's just sharp with hints of nectarine in the end. i don't get any florals, just chemical nectarine. this happens with a lot of modern fragrances, i'm not sure what it is, but it gives me a headache and my skin chemistry does not like it.

This is a charming little scent, a bit soapy, easy to wear, but not outstanding...I got a mini bottle, and I won't buy the big one..I just don't like it enough..now, if you are looking for a simple shampoo type smell, it might work..because it smells nice..the magnolia is a bit soapy, it isn't like a super strong scent, but this would be a stay at home kind of a scent..or if you like soft feminine perfumes...would be perfect for a teacher, or for work..nothing wrong with it...but you won't make a huge statement with that one !

I don't know where people smell magnolia and florals on this one. On me it's a shower fresh, almost aquatic, generic fresh scent. It reminds me a little of Gucci Bloom Acqua. I purchased it expecting magnolias, and it surely isn't for me. The only flower it might have, makes me think of osmathus. It is completely pleasant and totally unmemorable. Good for office and people who want to smell "good" without smelling like they put perfume on. I have a full bottle for swap. It doesn't excite me at all and I regret purchasing it.

Got this for my wife and it smells so good. It's a mouth-wateringly juicy scent. The fruity and floral notes are well-blended with the other notes to create a smooth, nicely integrated juicy, aqua, feminine fragrance. Fruity, but not too fruity. Floral, but not too floral. Just the right amount. Natural smelling. Love this stuff on my wife. My hat's off to Philosophy for this well-blended gem.

Opening is inoffensive flowers. But then there is something in this that smells like a sweet cigar, which really caught me by surprise. I find the sweet cigar lingers and clashes with the spring/summer vibe. I am brand loyal to Philosophy but this is off my want list. It’s not the the refreshing citrus floral I thought it would be.

This was one of my first fragrances. I enjoyed it then, but now I really don't like the sharp opening. I must add that I'm not really a fresh/musky/powdery/citrus person. And I'm picky about florals. To me this fragrance feels quite young, very suitable for a teen or someone in their early 20s.

This is a lovely well blended magnolia scent 😍 fresh and warm composition that works really well together! Delectable and quite romantic for Springtime and summery wear, amazingly Graceful as it's Name suggests!

A light, delicate floral scent with a subtle powdery note that avoids the "granny" vibe. I agreed with one of comment the magnolia give a fresh, warm, softer floral fragrance.

Safe, simple and beautiful floral. Brings me joy :)
