Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere

Sweet, warm, powdery, woody, creamy, feminine, sensual, seductive, delightful, charming, whimsical, dreamy, inviting, cozy, comforting On me this is a powdery, slightly musky, and somewhat delicate vanilla, with the soft woody scent of cashmere wood and sandalwood, and just a very subtle coconut which adds a bit of creaminess as opposed to any kind of tropical scent. It’s very linear on me, so it doesn’t deepen, or become more coconut-y as it dries down. This is a very beautiful, soft, woody, and powdery warm vanilla. It’s very well balanced, so it’s not too sweet, or deep. It’s such a delightful scent, and I’m continuously sniffing my wrists whenever I use this. Just a lovely light and sweet vanilla that’s versatile, so it pairs beautifully with other vanillas. I own both this, and the original Fresh Cream perfumes and body care. I do prefer this over the OG Fresh Cream, but I do enjoy both. I think Fresh Cream works well year round, while Warm Cashmere I tend to reach for more in the fall and winter (although it can work during the warmer months too). It’s very feminine, and suits women of any age (both I and my mother use this, I’m 37 and she’s 69). It’s perfect for casual occasions and work and/or school, and the body care works well with other vanilla perfumes for fancier occasions. I do find this pretty similar to BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar. As well as the lotions, I also own the body mist and the perfume of each. The sprays are also similar, but not as similar as the lotions are. I also think it’s slightly similar to Cozy Vanilla Bourbon, Snowflakes & Cashmere, and Skylar Vanilla Sky. Some of my favorite vanillas to pair the body care with include Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow, Kayali The Wedding Silk Santal, Kayali Vanilla 28, Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar, Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato, PDM Oriana, Bianco Latte, The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods, Burberry Goddess, DBIR Pink PP, YSL Black Opium Glitter, Kilian’s LDBS, Ellis Brooklyn Marshmallows, Phlur Heavy Cream, Phlur Vanilla Skin, SDJ Summer é Amor, VS Vanilla Lace I get moderate performance with Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere (unless paired with the body care, then it improves). The longevity is ok, about 5-6 hours on me. Projection is also ok, it radiates out about an arm’s length. I for my perfume during a buy 1 get 1 free sale during which I got both it and Fresh Cream. For that price they’re a good value, but I’ve always waited for a sale to buy more.

If you are looking for a vanilla that will make you smell like you have been baking all day this is the one! I absolutely adore Warm Cashmere. It is such a delectable vanilla scent and is probably one of my favorites. I find that this scent carries its vanilla notes very heavily; sweet vanilla in the initial spray to the dry down. The vanilla does not smell plasticky or synthetic but rather like freshly baked cake. As for the musk and sandalwood, they melt into the vanilla in a way that almost smells spicey. However, after a few hours, they fade away and leave a very sweet powdery vanilla, which I am not complaining about. I would say it is comparable to the nuttiness and sweetness of a Sol De Janeiro body mist but more sophisticated or the Nest Madagascar Vanilla perfume oil. I find that the perfume's scent is very dreamy and almost has a girl-next-door energy. Overall the scent is sweet, youthful, and feminine. The performance on the other hand was nothing special. The sillage was average and the longevity was weak. The scent is quite intimate; you and others who are physically close to you can smell it, which may be a positive for people with sensitive noses. I found that the scent really mellowed out after 5-6 hours, but could still be detected when smelling the skin. In conclusion, I really enjoyed this scent despite the performance. I love this scent for layering and for a subtle fragrance year round. If you like any of the fragrances I listed above you will love this one.

This is nice, and the projection and longevity on me are shocking. I wore it to work and got whiffs of it all day. I just wish I LOVED it. It's extremely similar to BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar to my nose, and I sadly find both to smell too much like play-doh. If I try not to focus on that aspect it's pleasant enough and I'm happy to have gotten it since it was on a good sale. It's a nice everyday scent that won't offend anyone, but if Nemat didn't ruin their Amber formula, I would much rather have that instead. The original Fresh Cream I found to smell just like sour milk so IMO this is leagues better. Edit: As time goes on I'm appreciating this more and more and now I do love it. I really want to find some scents that layer well with this, though. On its own it's solid but it's also definitely a bit one note. I feel like it would be perfect for me if it was a bit more vanillic or a touch sweeter (perhaps to mask the play-doh note) so I'm hoping to find a nice simple vanilla or something that goes really well with it. I'm sure it exists but nothing I currently have seems to be doing the trick. I feel like this is a fragrance that may never be my absolute favorite but one I love enough to always have. I'm glad that it's decently affordable. Edit: Months later I don't know how much I love it anymore, it's still good but I literally never feel compelled to wear it

My favorite Philosophy fragrance, as well as a colder weather favorite! I’ve always liked the original Fresh Cream, but Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere is a cozy vanilla lovers must have! Like snuggling up under your softest blanket next to a warm fire with a book on a cold night! Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere is a beautiful warm and cozy vanilla that’s sweet, but not too sweet thanks to the cashmere wood and musk notes! The sandalwood adds a slightly sweet creaminess while the cashmere wood adds depth and coziness! I get great performance with it too! It lasts the entire day on me and I can even smell it in me the next morning! The silage is really good too... typically people can smell it from about an arm’s length away! The price point is excellent for what you’re getting... a beautiful fragrance with great performance! I really love that Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere comes in quality bath and body products too! Using the body wash and lotion help to give you even better longevity and silage! Plus, it’s a fragrance that pairs really nicely with a lot of others! I’m a huge vanilla gourmand lover, so here’s some of my favorites in that category: Kayali Vanilla 28, Gold Sugar, Burberry Goddess, Nest Golden Nectar, The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods, JHAG Vanilla Vibes, VS Tease Creme Cloud, and VS Tease Candy Noir

My go-to vanilla scent is Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere Philosophy. I love wearing it every day and receive many compliments, which makes me feel confident. If anyone is interested there is a bubble bash layering trio set shower gel, EDT and cloud cream on QVC for a reasonable price... that I have set on subscription because I am that hooked. I have been looking for the best vanilla scent (for me) not just for winter snuggle up by the fire place or summer sun tan lotion vibes but for everyday wear... Personally, nothing tops Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere Philosophy. I have tried so many perfumes like Dior Vanilla Diorama (yuck), Kayali Vanilla 28 (don't buy into the hype), Skylar Vanilla Sky Eau de Parfum (okay but doesn't last long and I would only use around winter), Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille (good... but not for everyday, also very expensive), Ellis Brooklyn Mini Bee (Meh), and SOL DE JANEIRO Cheirosa ‘62 Eau de Parfum (Get many compliments but I would only use around summer) etc. This is just my personal opinion. I love fruity, sweet, and vanilla scents. I enjoy all kinds of fragrance but this one is just perfect for me. It is unisex. I find my husband reaching for it as a base note before he adds other colognes. If you haven't already... I would highly recommend giving it a try.

The notes listed on the Philosphy site are tangerine, vanilla bean and musk. I don't get any citrus at all. It makes me think of when I was a child and we'd cuddle up in cozy quilts, light candles and roast marshmallows in the fireplace when the power went out on a chilly stormy evening. Being all safe and warm in the house as it stormed away outside. It's a very warm, cozy, comforting vanilla with a nice soft woodiness and a warm cat fur sort of musk that's perfect for chilly winter and fall weather. I'd say it's in the same family as "By The Fireplace" but much less smokey. If you're on the fence about BTF because you just don't like the intensity of the smokeyness, or you just want a softer version for occasions were BTF may be "to much", you may want to see if you like FCWC as an alternative. I also picked up "Vanilla Creme Brulee" by The Good Scent at Winners and find it very similar but a bit less smokey than Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere, they're really close and get more and more similar as they sit on the skin. It's sort of like they're 3 versions of the same scent with BTF being the most intense "statement" fragrance and VCB being the softest most "wearable/safe" version. If you're on a budget VCB is so close to FCWC and I picked it up for $14.00.

I've been using this scent for MANY years now. It's my favorite perfume ever made, literally number 1 out of 200 vanillas I own or have owned. But sadly it has an horrendous performance. I've always said in previous reviews that this is the best perfume ever made with the worst performance ever made. I've tried similar scents like Sabrina's Sweet Tooth and it's just not the same since it's a soapy version of this and I really disliked that, plus it was weak too. And many other similar inspirations but they also lean towards the soapy side like Qissa Delicious. I also love Warm Vanilla Sugar and they're definitely on the same family of vanilla, this time it's on the warmer side which I LOVE, but, just like the rest, it's extremely weak. That said, if you know The Dua Brand, omg, they finally did a dupe. I've been begging them for YEARS. Please make a dupe of Fresh Cream WC, please make a dupe of Fresh Cream WC, please make a dupe of Fresh Cream WC. And it finally happened!! I just ordered FIVE BOTTLES, but I can't tell you if it's good or not yet since I don't have it in my hands yet. I'm so excited. Just thought people needed to know there's finally a direct dupe of this perfume. Fingers crossed!

delicious! i finally got to smell this at an outlet mall and i gotta say, while i love it, i think it's also definitely dupe-able with cheaper scents. to me, this reminds me of a combination of bare vanilla and sugar sky from victoria's secret/pink. the opening is so similar to sugar sky, with the sugary musky (but slightly plastic-y) opening, and then the drydown is somewhere between sugar sky and bare vanilla--still some of the fluffy sugariness, but also some sticky vanilla that pulls almost caramel-ish. the cashmere here contributes to the deeper bare vanilla dna and i think this is a little more vanilla-heavy than sugar sky, which i would say is a more year-round/warm-weather-appropriate version of fresh cream warm cashmere. this is definitely a love for me, but since i have sugar sky and bare vanilla (and this honestly doesn't last/perform all that much better than a slightly more generous body mist application), i don't think i would need to purchase it.

(Edit: Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere lasts even longer when sprayed on clothes and hair, or about 8 hours as opposed to 5-6 hours just on the skin.) To my nose, there is no comparison to Bath & Body Works' Warm Vanilla Sugar. Is PFCWC warm, vanillic, and sugary? Yes. Yet it comes off as far more refined, genuine, and wearable. It's not nearly as sweet, either. On its own this perfume turns into a skin scent within about 3 hours. Therefore, I recommend picking up a set which contains the lingering shower gel and the rich lotion that's more like a cream. As for the fragrance itself, the vanilla note stays true, the coconut is light and not tropical, the sandalwood is diffused, and the musk note comes forward to marry the vanilla. What a gorgeous dance. 9/10 Edit: in the first few minutes there is a marshmallow note but luckily this does not become sickly sweet, instead, being fun for an instant and then settling in with the other notes.

Received a small bottle today. It is reminiscent of BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar but has its own DNA. Last night I sprayed some on a tissue first and rubbed in on my hand. It lasted the entire night as I woke up smelling the vanilla. After reading some reviews, it seems that many state that the scent is short lived. Maybe a good way to apply this is to spray on first, then spray a concentrated amount on a tissue and apply as well. Just sayin....I got a good 9 hours out of that method! I actually received both the Cashmere and the Suede. Cashmere is much better. The Suede is a bit masculine to me and doesn't quite fit with what I like to wear. But the Cashmere is very nice!!! Good price and will probably mix well with other fragrances in my arsenal. :) Happy February! UPDATE: This smells more like the vintage BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar. Which I miss greatly so I'm happy to have found it in this beautiful Philosophy scent!

I've been repurchasing this same fragrance for a little over three years now. I am beyond obsessed with her. Vanilla and cashmere are such a beautiful pairing. It also happens to be my most complimented. I enter a room, and someone either tells me I smell amazing or asks me if I brought baked goods. I wear this all year round, but if I had to tie a season to this, I would definitely dub it as a fall fragrance. The smell of hot chai and your Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere on a chilly day go together insanely well. Doesn't last as long as I'd like, but that's the only downside for me. Overall, I'd only stop buying if I: A.) Get sick of it from wearing it all throughout my late teens & early 20s or B.) Can no longer afford, even with its lovely price point Biased review, sure, but I'd die for this one. Sorry!

no yeah this thing is perfect. i hate coconut ... but somehow this made me like coconut lol. the coconut is a very minor supporting element for the overall smooth, vanilla + slight woody scent. this is my signature after i upgraded from bbw snowflakes and cashmere. pros - perfect smooth vanilla - not too sweet - ALWAYS gets compliments when i hug people ("you smell so good and comfy") - insanely good for layering if you want to emphasis another perfume's vanilla element cons - lasts long only on clothes - it does linger on skin but it has absolutely no sillage after a couple hours, only if you put your nose to it - doesn't project as much as id like. i have to spray the hell out of it - one bottle wouldn't last me even 3 months, sadly. i got a 2oz bottle for $40.

Omg, this perfume is literally a gourmand dream; pls marry me .🙏 I initially tested it because everyone was talking about how good it was, and they were NOT wrong. The best way I could describe this is literal cream with vanilla sugar cookies with a hint of musk and warmth. The dry down is incredible and is so cozy. I love when the wind blows the scent right back into my nose; it's such a fall-winter scent. The weird thing is that the more I use it, the more the longevity of it decreases. It used to last for 6+ hours, but now it barely lasts for 3. Either I’m storing it wrong or my nose is just getting used to the scent. Anyway, I love this scent; give me 10 more right now.

I did a review long time ago about how gorgeous this scent is but with the most horrible performance ever. Yesterday I was gifted a travel size of this perfume. I knew it would perform just as bad as before but I thought maybe they reformulated it. Nope. It's still the most gorgeous scent ever with the worse performance ever. It's simply insulting how they're selling this. I promise you this: a B&BW body mist lasts longer than this Scent 10/10 Longevity 1/10 Sillage 1/10 Buy sweet tooth by sabrina carpenter instead (a soapy version of this, sadly), which also has awful performance but not as bad

This lasts for hours on me, and on my clothes for days. I don't know where the reviews on longevity issues are coming from--I'm someone who's super critical about longevity... but this is strong! Maybe they improved the formula? The scent is a stunning and versatile vanilla. I struggle finding good vanillas because I don't like all the "noise" added in with other notes (floral, smoky, spicy, milky, etc.) This smells like an elegant warm vanilla that's classy and cozy at the same time. It reminds me of Cheirosa 62 but without the nuttiness. I haven't found a better vanilla than this. Love.

one of my favourite perfumes. lasts around 6 hours for me but i grabbed the shoppers drug mart holiday set, which includes a travel sized version of the perfume, so longevity isn't much of a problem. as most people do with this fragrance, i layer it with the eos vanilla cashmere (?) body lotion and it's just perfect! i wish it was a bit more gourmand, though. it's a great affordable and accessible vanilla and i get a lot of compliments on it. it's good for layering (i layer it with a raspberry perfume and it's sort of muffin-y) or just on it's own. pretty standard but really good.

Fresh cream warm cashmere is an amazing perfume, and a wonderful gourmand. While not being listed (as of right now) with any citrus notes, I absolutely get some tangerine on first spray. It's very fleeting, but I enjoy it a lot! Very warm and one of the only vanillas I truly love. I actually settled for warm cashmere over just the regular fresh cream because every time I go to sample it in store, they're sold out. However I'm very happy with my decision over the regular, and 100% recommend it.

This is my signature fragrance. SO SO yummy and comforting. I literally spray it on myself before I go to bed sometimes, I love it that much. The only issue is that it's not that strong and no one else can really smell it on you but yourself. The initial spray is a very creamy vanilla caramel that is actually quite comforting and not abrasive to the nose at all. When it dries down it is more of a powdery scent that I don't really like. Try and spray this on your skin and not your clothes.

Honestly I’m in love with this & it smells SSOOOOO GOOOD layered with Blanche Bete omg. It’s an affordable fragrance that I probably would have overlooked but I have the lotion & I fell inlove with that so when I saw it was a fragrance too, I had to get it. It just makes everything else you wear sweet and vanilla-ey & enhances all of the yummy notes in your favourite fragrances. I think I’ll forever keep this in my collection because it’s stunning to layer other fragrances with.

One of the nicest scents I've ever tried with one of the worst performance I've ever tried. Absolutely awful sillage, absolutely awful longevity. It's simply shocking how they're even daring to sell this absolutely watered product. A BBW mist is better than this, or just equally bad. Go with sabrina sweet tooth instead which is also light but way better than this. Philosophy should refund people buying this perfume and re-formulate it Scent 10/10 Longevity 1/10 Projection 1/10
