Giving Grace

I left this one on the shelf at TJ Maxx because I’m trying to cool it with the hoarding. I was deciding between 4711 Remix (purple bottle; a solid no) and Giving Grace and put both back because while I was underwhelmed by the former (don’t fix what ain’t broke, said I to the umpteenth 4711 flanker) I got dissuaded by the bad reviews here and figured the latter would just be another weak aerosol smelling faux citrus Philosophy EdT collecting dust on my shelf. Um, wrong. It’s now 6 hours after my in-store spray and it’s still going strong on my arm. Nothing here is overly synthetic smelling to me. This is a good summer scent for hot days. It has shades of a good smelling Old Spice deodorant (one of the modern aquatic blends, like Fiji Blitz or Kraken my Ballz) musk with that solid white floral Philosophy Grace DNA. I’m not sure what gives this EdT such high octane strength but I quite like it.

I actually really liked this! The longevity was pretty good as well! If you like florals, you'll probably like it. However, it is generic smelling. And sometimes I really like that! It smells like a musky floral with no particular notes sticking out more than others. It resembles slightly- the Vera Wang original perfume (orange liquid)...but I think it is a great winter floral that should not just be limited edition...

Picked this up at Ulta out of curiosity (only $15, not bad). I can pick up all the scents - jasmine, orange, and musk. It's pleasant, probably more easy to wear than Amazing Grace and better than some of the other Grace flankers. Nice if you want something cozy to wear.

I thought I'd like this and if you're looking for a summer citrus this is for you. it's very close to the skin and clean I just don't like citrus scents. my mom will love it I'm sure.

Citrusy jasmine and musk. The musk is the forefront of the scent composition. Good sillage and longevity.

Giving Grace would be like me being polite to the title of this disgusting fragrance. Smells like saccharin Orange Fanta Soda. It’s not sophisticated.

While this isn't my favorite from Philosophy, I certainly don't think it's as bad as some other state. To me, this smells pretty much exactly what the notes say it is. It smells very unisex, wearable by anyone who just wants that clean out of the shower type of scent that some strive for. Almost settles down to a soapy scent on my skin with absolutely no sweetness, and my skin usually pulls the sweetness from fragrances very easily.

Smells very cheap - not the warm scent that philosophy advertises it to be. Very disappointing -definitely not worth the price!!! Returning it today.

this is a headache in a bottle for me. didn't dry down nice either...
