Awesome Vanilla!! Lasts all day, will be getting a bottle asap!

I got a sample of this perfume. I am not a fan of Philosophy perfumes in general but this one is a tolerable sweet and powdery scent. It's nice, but nothing amazing. I find it to be a one dimensional fragrance because what you smell at the opening is exactly what you smell at the end. I would wear this fragrance to bed or at home curled up on the couch in a cozy robe. It reminds me of a scent you would wear to cuddle up, lol. Overall, it's an okay fragrance.

Very 'true' vanilla frag.. The projection is very weak though.. I can see this more as a 'mixer' for a scent cocktail spritzed with something like Black Orchid to make it more gourmand day time scent.

What a delight! Powdery iris on top of lightly sweetened coconut. Sweet without being too much. Lasts about 4 hours, sweeter once the iris fades. Good summer gourmand light and airy.

This is easily the best fragrance in the My Philosophy collection, which isn't saying a lot, but it is an acceptable non-foody, non-cloying vanilla. Try it out if you love vanilla.

To me this smells like marshmallow. I can smell the iris underneath but the sweetness is too much for me.

I agree with LisaandtheWord - playdoh all day. Makes it smell cheap, and covers any iris that may be there.

Unfortunately, on my skin this smells like Eau de Play Doh.

OK so I did a Pepsi challenge ( blind smelling and rating) with 50 top niche frags (mostly creamy or gourmand) and this one ranked up in the top five! That blows my mind! I chose it among lira and santal complet .. This is a sneaky fragrance, because when you spray it on you, you think you made a mistake at first because it doesn't smell like anything and you get some of the chemical scent.. but.. give it ten mins and you will be in love! This is a great subtle frag! I would recommend an out of the shower still undressed body spray type.. you be the best smelling person everrr :)

I love some vanilla scents, but this one smells like puffy sweet vanilla icing on top of Play Doh.. whether on my skin or just smelling the sprayer. For a nice plain vanilla try L'Aromarine Vanille.. for lighter sophisticated vanilla try Vanille Exquise by Annick Goutal, and for a deep woodsy vanilla I love Serge Luten's Un Bois Vanille.

is it just me...? i got this from marshalls for $10 sale and for some reason there is a citrus in this scent that i can't stand. does this mean the perfume is old? :D hahaha... i hoped for just pure vanilla, not citrus weirdness included. guess i will stick with pacifica brand.
