Pistachio Paradise Mist

I tried this at Ulta and haven't stopped thinking about it since. It has a very photorealistic nuttiness without any sort of off-putting plastic note. It's one of the better pistachio scents I have tried! It is more nutty than sweet. It’s a very dry nuttiness and quite linear...excellent for layering. I would have purchased it but I am not sure I need yet another pistachio fragrance. Something tells me I might end up buying it anyways...or adding it to my holiday wish list for Santa. ;)

I am really enjoying this nutty scent. It isn't sickly sweet, just warm and toasty. It reminds me of a warm horchata. No funky musk or patchouli at the base, just a linear pistachio and cinnamon. It is a realistic pistachio to my nose, no weird alcohol or plastic smell. It is perfect for layering. I would wear this as a casual daily scent. It doesn't last very long but its a body spray, so you can reapply as often as you like.

I am typically quite underwhelmed by Philosophy perfumes, but this actually surprised me! I think this is quite decent, but you truly need to love pistachio. In fact, think this smells like one of their body washes adapted into a spray (I tend to like their shower products more than their perfumes, I've not personally had the pistachio one though so I'm not claiming this *is* the same, merely that I could imagine this as a wash scent). It has a distinct pistachio nuttiness that actually works true to it's name. It's sweet, slightly salty, creamy, and has something spicy about it too. Nothing else emerges to my nose, it's pistachio ice cream, and it's totally realistic. Performance is fairly lousy, but it is a body spray...so...

the longest lasting and strongest smelling body mist I’ve had, usually I don’t buy body mists because they don’t smell much beyond initial spraying, but this one is different. the pistachio scent is feminine but not very sweet - the scent is pretty straight forward. definitely enjoyable and good to use on days where you don’t want to use up your perfumes or need something less powerful on.

If you go into this expecting a pistachio like Kayali or something along those lines, you'll definitely be disappointed. But if you're open to a nutty scent that almost tips into a chocolate vibe, you'll be pleased. I enjoy how warm, enveloping, nutty and sweet this scent is. It's a gourmand, but not in the vanilla-sugar-sweet way of a lot of gourmands.

Nutty, spiced, not overly gourmand at all. I actually like it more than the Kayali pistachio— it’s closer to a spiced nut butter smell than a pistachio dessert on my nose. Longevity isn’t great, but typically I’m layering it with something stronger so I don’t mind that

More of a dry plain pistachio. Venue : It gives trendy coffee shop and roastery where you can't wear an intense flower bomb. Maybe calling out of work to finish a good book. I'd spray it to hike to a secret cabin. Introvert level body mist. Top - pistachio flower Middle - creamy cinnamon milk Base - warm vetiver I think this is going to be confusing to the Sephora girly girl market. This is NOT delicious or hyper sweet or mouth-watering in any way. It is very linear. Not a bubbly bright exciting scent. Not a safe blind buy. Lasted forever in my hair and my shirt. It was still on my pillow the next night. ( I use unscented hair products and laundry products). I got it to layer with Milk from bath and body for this fall. May work for vanilla/marshmallow girlies to layer.

This doesn't smell like your typical pistachio fragrance. You definitely don't get the strong nuttiness. I was expecting it to be a lot more gourmand based on the notes. It's not bad, it's just okay. Sorry to say it's my least favorite of all my pistachio fragrances.

i really wanted to love it but it was just so cloying, kind of rancid, and very heavy all at the same time.

Raw pistachio, salted. Not really wearable, almost smells like mothballs.

Nutty, milky, cloying, strong. It's a bit of a mess. Headache inducing, sickeningly sweet, weirdly milky and nutty. This feels juvenile. Notes are all over the place and the throw is intense. Not office friendly, not a safe blind buy.

I am surprised at the reviews below ...but I had a very brief spray/ moment with this at Ulta the other day, so I didn’t really get to know it. My first impression was that it actually smelled nutty unlike so many of the “pistachio “ perfumes I have tested. The vetiver was grounding. And it definitely had some throw to it. I guess I will have to check it out again.

Honestly, I wouldn’t classify this as a pistachio scent, unfortunately. One of the notes is “cinnamon milk” and that’s what it smells like, maybe some vanilla. It’s a bit cloying and incredibly sweet.

So good. This one is so much better than the Kayali one and the pistachio note is more present. Delicious.
