Pure Grace Desert Summer

As a desert dweller, this scent is EVERYTHING to me! I pray every season that they’ll bring this back and re release so I can stock up. I cherish the 1/3 of a bottle I have left because it’s my absolute favorite spring and summer fragrance. The cactus and ozonic notes are so prominent and crisp, it feels like drinking a cool glass of ice water in the desert during the summer bloom surrounded by juniper and rabbit brush. Absolutely a stunner and all time favorite! The closest dupe I have found is Clean Classic’s Rain for those who also miss this beauty.

I grew up in Phoenix, and when I saw that the creator of the cologne was inspired by a hike up Camelback Mountain, I had to have it. I absolutely love the white floral/cactus blossom/dirt mix. It's perfect for summer - it's a light floral, but a not the same old "white floral" blend that everyone else is wearing. I wish that it wasn't just a limited edition, because I'd love to keep it around for when I feel homesick. I'll just enjoy the bottle I have now, and stock up if I see any more for sale.

It is hard to find an earthy scent that is also slightly sweet with a light feminine floral touch. This brings that to my perfume collection with citrusy clean cactus flowers, warm earthy clay, sugary cool air notes. I could make this a signature scent IF it lasted on my skin for more than an hour. After about 15 minutes, it turns into a soft, soft, soft skin scent. It holds onto clothes a little better especially sweaters/knits. Layering with the lotion only helps al little. I have a love hate relationship with this one truly. That said I do have a back up bottle.

This is such a great inoffensive scent that smells very pretty and is a great summer scent if you don’t want a basic fruit scent. I ended up gifting this to my mom after obsessively wearing it for a while, and even with her dementia, this is her favorite of her many perfumes.

I bought this a few months ago before I left my job at Ulta. It's a very simple, classy and sweet scent; very subtle and you won't get a headache from it. Unfortunately, there's no "wow" factor to Desert Summer either.

Lovely sweet and refreshing cactus scent. I can't really smell the clay. He reminds me of a refreshing cold juice or sweet drink in the desert. Great every day summer scent.

Lovely clean perfume that truly does smell of a sunny afternoon near a brick wall by the beach or a pool. Hot clay with a wet watery ozonic opening and a musky undertone. A perfect spring summer everyday cologne. Unisex. As @KamBam said, inoffensive and cute

UM NEGATIVE. So much potential with the notes (clay, cactus) and it is a border line HATE- def dislike. Ozonic should have said alcoholic and not the boozy kind. I've come to the conclusion, I'm not a fan of Philosophy fragrances.

Soooo disappointed in this. I love the desert,I fantasize about being in the desert. When I smell this,I get a strong blast of alcohol,and that's it. I get no cactus,no flowers,none of the clay I was hoping for. Just a strong blast of alcohol with something almost minty lingering in the background. And of course I have to hold my wrist up to my nose to smell even that. Total waste of money.

Such a cooling, refreshing scent! You can really pick up the jasmine in this one, though it’s not cloying or overbearing. There’s a citrusy essence to it, mostly due the sparkling notes I pick up. It takes me to a tropical poolside vacation; think coming back from being at the beach all day, then taking that long post-sun shower. It’s magical.

Wet & feminine. The cactus flowers carry the lightness and femininity of the fragrance, while the clay and ozonic notes keep the florals humble and cooled down like a desert night. Longevity is about 2-3 hours with generous sprays. Lasts best on clothes and skin. Still a light scent, overall but quite unique.
