Snow Angel

I love this scent. It's fresh and clean without being powdery or tart, it's slightly fruity without being sicky sweet. I'm super glad to see it listed here because I've been trying other fragrances that share its notes and nothing comes close. I don't really get melon -- but I think of green partylite candles when I think melon, which are yuck for me -- so much as pear, maybe a pinch of ozone, and a quiet base of white musk. I definitely don't get snow. The problem -- and it's a huge one -- is that it dissipates the SECOND I put it on. Even if I use the body wash, the lotion, and the EDT, it's just gone within minutes. I did read somewhere that all Philosophy fragrances are like that, just not built with any staying power. But it's infuriating. I was psyched when they came out with an EDT, but they somehow managed to make it weaker than their body spray. So now I'm on this weird quest to find something that smells like Snow Angel, but lasts after the second I set down the bottle. I wonder if I could boil the body spray down to make it stronger. Hm.

I dont have this as a perfume as it was unavailable in my area but I have the scent in shampoo/lotion form. Very crisp and soft and clean and fresh. not sure why fuji apple isnt listed in notes as it says it on the bottle and is a noticeable scent in it. smells like a cold winter/spring morning with a bite of apple and jasmine tea. The lotion and body wash scent is definitely not strong, and I cant talk for the perfume. Pairs well with lavender, clean scents and fruity floral that aren't overly floral or tropical.

I really hope this one day makes a return 😭 I have the body butter and it is so heavenly. It’s clean and fresh with a hint of sweetness. This is what I imagine Elsa from Frozen would wear. Because I don’t have the perfume, I layered the body butter with my extra whip body mist from snif, and my mod vanilla edp and got the prettiest clean girl vanilla.

i LOVE snow angel! i found the shower gel at tjmaxx for super cheap and fell in love so i bought the perfume on ebay. it’s smells so good and fresh, it kinda reminds me of a lip smacker i used to love as a kid. definitely one of my favorites from philosophy... but everything from philosophy is amazing!

Very pretty, soft, fresh, slightly sweet, and light! A nice, subtle, cool, and clean scent! I think it’s a really lovely scent for the wintertime! Very inoffensive like other Philosophy fragrances! All of the notes are soft and subtle. I notice the fresh mountain air and sweet melon notes the most. I do also pick up on a soft floral scent from the jasmine and orange blossom. The vanilla, musk, and sandalwood become more noticeable on me during the dry down. I have a set of this that includes the body wash, body lotion, and fragrance. I typically use all 3 together and the fragrance lasts throughout the day on me. It projects within about an arm’s length of me.

Pleasant, inoffensive, and fruity; a good simple work-friendly scent. It’s similar to FCUK Her, but it stays fruity longer while sandalwood and cedar comes out quicker for the latter. It’s sweet but not cloyingly so; there’s a hint of musk that peeps out every so often but overall the melon is the most prominent note after the opening. This would be a great scent for either younger children or older wearers who don’t like very strong scents.

the sandalwood and jasmine are a little sharper in the perfume and its a bit less sweet than the body wash, so it smells a bit like shampoo. its really sheer, one of those fragances i use like a body mist. i still like it a lot, i love the snow angel collection and it reminds me of snow.

A crisp, sweet musk, shampoo type of smell. It's pretty refreshing! It's in the same vein as Revlon Charlie Silver to my nose. Snow Angel doesn't have much of a metallic edge to it, but is heavy on the melon & vanilla musk notes. Just that "clear" kind of smell is what I mean, along with some facets. The more I wear it, the more the "sugared musk" seems to come out to play (how Philosophy put it when the perfume was sold on the website). It's a great clean scent, and does have a bit of a light sweetness. I can pick out some of the white florals, but it's strongly the melon, mountain air (or "fresh air accord" per Philosophy), and a very subtle sweet vanilla muskiness on me. The little wisps of musk radiate as a cotton-candy esque smell, but it's VERY subtle and faint, so I'm not trying to say this smells like cotton candy. I like when scents smell good with sunscreen, and this definitely is accentuated by the sunscreen smell, making it feel a little more summery. I like this in winter as well, as the chill factor tends to bring out the crisp air accord more, making it feel slightly different between seasons like many perfumes. It's a very likeable perfume, and very light, so I doubt it'd ever be offensive to people around you unless sprayed in large doses. Smells like freshly shampooed hair in the freezing cold.

I feel like Philosophy products are specifically geared toward people who have a low tolerance for any fragrance in general, but still want something that isn't "hippy chic", too naturalistic, rustic or herbal. Everything from this brand so far still has a *fragrance* to it, nothing smells natural, but the volume is turned down to a minimum. Everything smells very "uptown/classy", and incredibly inoffensive. If that's your thing, that's great, but it's not really mine. This is very, very lightweight. It has a sweet coolness to it, but I wouldn't go as far as to call it a "vanilla" fragrance. It's just *laced* with a touch of vanilla, but it's predominantly a soapy, ozonic scent that's waifish and transparent. So...that is to say, it's reminiscent of snow indeed! It's enjoyable. I think it would actually be best in summer when it's hot and oppressive, because this has a mild and refreshing quality. ...and like a light snow, it's fleeting. It's nonexistent after half an hour. 👋 ❄️ 🌨 ✌️

November 2020 Congrats Fragrantica on finally listing this frag. It only took 2 yrs :P I mostly agree with the reviewer below. This smells like a fruit shampoo: pleasant but unmemorable. You smell all the notes listed except for the sandalwood but this is pretty much a melon scent. Specifically honeydew, I believe. The name really annoys me because it's deceiving. You are suppose to smell the scent of snow but this is a spring scent IMO. I already put it away for the winter and just took it out to write this review. When I saw that SAINT was listed in the Reminds section, my instinct was -- no -- but I have a travel spray of it in my collection actually and comparing the 2, I can see where the person was getting at altho the fruit notes are completely different. Saint also has that pleasant but unmemorable vibe.

it has a faint cleaning product smell, it isn't unpleasant though. im sad bc the notes looked so promising. but yea as others have said, it literally smells like nothing after a few seconds. i have saint and i can see where the comparison between the two could have came from but this fragrance just doesn't last long enough for me to form any strong opinions.

Very disappointed that this does not smell anything like Saint by Kat Von D :C like some people suggested here on Fragrantica :C The scent smells very “straight out of the shower” clean. Very boring!! I like clean scents but this is just not worth keeping to me. You gotta spray it 30 times before you start to smells the fragrance. Longevity is nonexistent.

I used to wear this before l was into fragrance and l still have a soft spot for it. It weirdly doesn't smell like any of the notes listed, it's just a soft, shampoo like, beautiful scent. I overspray and get decent longevity, l can still smell it six hours later. Sadly l think this is either being discontinued or not manufactured as a fragrance for awhile. Glad l have one of the large bottles as a backup.

I agree w/ the review below. I had the body spray, & blind bought the perfume thinking surely it was stronger. It doesn't smell like anything. I can't say much about the Saint comparison, I never got into that one, I have sinner. Blah.

This smells like a swimming pool and I can be so devious with this fragrance 😈
